Heart Change | Pastor John Eaton | Transitions | 10/04/2026
2026/10/04
“For everything there is a season, and a time for every matter under heaven.” — Ecclesiastes 3:1 What if the transition you’re going through isn’t just about what’s happening around you, but about what God is trying to change within you? In this powerful message, we explore how God can use seasons of uncertainty, loss, discomfort, waiting, and change to reshape our hearts and help us see life from His perspective. Through the story of Jonah, we discover that God wasn’t only trying to change Nineveh—He was trying to change Jonah’s heart. Jonah agreed that Nineveh was wrong, but he struggled to agree with God about what should happen next. His story challenges us to ask: Where am I disagreeing with God? We’ll also look at the transitions of Moses, Peter, Paul, Elijah, and Joseph and see how God used difficult seasons to prepare them for His purposes. Maybe your transition is about your finances. Maybe it’s your health. Maybe it’s loneliness. Maybe it’s disappointment, comfort, addiction, or a door that didn’t open. But what if God is using this season to help you understand something about His heart—and to bring heart change in you? In this message, we’ll explore: • Why God allows transitions in our lives • How God uses uncomfortable seasons to reshape our hearts • What Jonah teaches us about anger, mercy, and surrender • Why God cares about our hearts—not just our behavior • How Moses, Peter, Joseph, Paul, and Elijah experienced heart change • What it means to align our hearts with God’s heart • The question God may be asking you in your current season Ask yourself: What am I angry about? Who don’t I like? What does God say that I disagree with? What does God want me to do that I won’t? What does God want me to stop doing that I still do? You may think it’s about the transition—but God may be using the transition to show you something deeper. What does God want you to finally understand and agree with Him about? You know. You know what it is about. Others | Pastor John Eaton | Transitions | 09/27/2026
2026/09/27
“For everything there is a season, and a time for every matter under heaven.” — Ecclesiastes 3:1 Transitions can be painful, overwhelming, and uncertain. Whether you’re facing financial pressure, family challenges, responsibility, loss, or a major change in life, it’s easy to become so focused on surviving that we forget something important: there are OTHERS. Others to care for. Others to encourage. Others who are hurting. Others who need your help. Others who may be a little ahead of you and can guide you. And others who may be a little behind you and need you to help them forward. In this message, we look at two powerful biblical stories—Elijah and the widow in 1 Kings 17 and Paul and the shipwreck in Acts 27—and discover what it means to live beyond survival mode. When Elijah’s resources ran out, God provided through a widow who was facing her own desperate circumstances. When Paul found himself in the middle of a violent storm with 275 other people, he didn't isolate himself. He stayed with them, spoke hope, encouraged them to eat, and reminded them that God would see them through. The storm was real. The ship would be lost. The circumstances wouldn't suddenly become easy. But they were going to make it through together. Maybe you’re in a transition right now. Maybe you feel like your resources are running out or your ship is falling apart. This message is a reminder: Don’t abandon ship. Take care of each other. Trust God. And look beyond yourself to see the OTHERS around you. God can use your presence, your faith, your encouragement, and your story to give someone else hope. Learn | Pastor John Eaton | Transitions | 09/20/2026
2026/09/20
“For everything there is a season, and a time for every matter under heaven.” — Ecclesiastes 3:1 What do you do when you’re stuck between where you’ve been and where you’re going? Transitions can be painful. We often want answers, a timeline, or a way out—but what if God wants to teach us something in the meantime? In this message, we take the next step in learning how to navigate life’s transitions: Learn. The disciples repeatedly asked Jesus to teach them. They wanted to know the way, how to pray, and how to understand His words. Their example reminds us that our seasons of transition can become seasons of learning when we turn toward God and ask Him to teach us. In this sermon, we explore: • Teach Us the Way — Jesus is the Way, the Truth, and the Life. We may not know the “when,” but we can trust the One who knows the Way. • Teach Us to Pray — Prayer isn’t about perfect words or religious performance. It’s about knowing our Father, seeking His kingdom, asking, trusting, and remaining faithful. • Teach Us What You Just Said — God invites us to be hungry to understand His Word and willing to ask questions when we don’t understand. • Do the Last Thing He Told You — Sometimes moving forward begins with obeying what God has already made clear. If you’re in a season of uncertainty, pain, waiting, or transition, remember: God is still your teacher in the meantime. You may not know when the transition will end, but you can learn to trust The Way. “Take my yoke upon you and learn from me, for I am gentle and humble in heart, and you will find rest for your souls.” — Matthew 11:29 Scriptures referenced: Ecclesiastes 3:1 John 14:5–7, 14:26–27 Luke 11:1–13 Matthew 6:7–10 Matthew 11:28–30 Matthew 13:36 Matthew 15:15 Isaiah 25:4–5 Isaiah 30:20–21 Isaiah 53:6 Exodus 4 If this message encouraged you, like, subscribe, and share it with someone who may be walking through a season of transition. #TheMeantime #Sermon #ChristianSermon #Ecclesiastes3 #LearnFromGod #Faith #Prayer #Jesus #HolySpirit #Christianity #LifeTransitions
Change | Pastor John Eaton | Transitions | 09/13/2026
2026/09/13
Change is inevitable—but what if the transitions we experience aren’t meant to destroy us, but to transform us? In this message, we explore what it means to walk through seasons of change while holding onto the One who never changes. God is our Anchor—faithful, reliable, perfect, and unchanging. Yet because we are still growing, God often uses transitions to shape us, heal us, strengthen us, and move us forward. Ecclesiastes 3:1 reminds us that there is “a season, and a time for every matter under heaven.” Every transition gives us a choice: Will we become bitter or better? Will we get stuck, or will we allow God to change us? Through the stories of Israel, Zacchaeus, Paul, the woman at the well, and the man delivered in Mark 5, we see that encountering God produces real change. Repentance isn't simply admitting we're wrong—it means changing our hearts and our lives. Whether you're facing the loss of someone you love, a job loss, divorce, betrayal, financial hardship, disappointment, or simply a new season of life, God can use that transition for your good. Ezekiel 36:24–27 gives us a powerful promise: God restores, washes, rebuilds, and gives us a new heart and a new spirit. You may be in a transition—but you don't have to stay stuck there. God is calling you to move forward. God is calling you to change for the better. And God is not finished with you yet. “He who began a good work in you will carry it on to completion until the day of Christ Jesus.” — Philippians 1:6 📖 Scriptures referenced: Ecclesiastes 3:1 Malachi 3:6 Hebrews 13:8 Isaiah 43:19 Matthew 5:17 Matthew 3:2 Ezekiel 36:24–27 Philippians 1:6 2 Corinthians 4:8–18 Revelation 21:5 If this message encouraged you, like this video, subscribe, and share it with someone who may be walking through a season of transition. #ChangeForTheBetter #Transition #ChristianSermon #Faith #Jesus #SpiritualGrowth #GodIsFaithful #Christianity #Sermon #Encouragement
Moving with Pain | James David Eaton | Transitions | 09/06/2026
2026/09/06
How do we move forward when life hurts? How do we keep walking when grief, loss, disappointment, or suffering becomes part of our story? In this powerful message, we explore what it means to “Move With Pain”—not by pretending the pain doesn’t exist, but by learning how to surrender it to God’s grace. Through Romans 8:22–25, the story of Lazarus in John 11, and Jesus’ own experience of suffering, grief, and death, we discover that God is not distant from our pain. Jesus weeps with us, mourns with us, and carries our burdens with us. Jesus shows us three ways to move through pain: • Yield to the Father’s will • Mourn when it is time to mourn • Forbear and trust God through what we cannot change Your pain does not have to be the end of your story. Under God’s grace, what once felt like devastation can become part of a greater story of healing, purpose, and spiritual awakening. “For if we hope for what we do not yet have, we wait for it patiently.” — Romans 8:25 Maybe you’re in a season of grief. Maybe you’re carrying a loss that no one else can see. Or maybe you’re simply trying to understand why suffering is part of life. Wherever you are, remember: you don’t have to move without pain—you can learn to move with pain, trusting that God is with you every step of the way. 🙏 If this message encouraged you, share it with someone who may need hope today. 🔔 Subscribe for more messages and teachings. 💬 Let us know in the comments what stood out to you. Relationships are Priority | Pastor John Eaton | Transitions | 08/30/2026
2026/08/30
What happens to our relationships when life changes? Whether you’re walking through a season of blessing, disappointment, uncertainty, loss, or a completely new beginning, transitions have a way of revealing who—and what—we’re really holding onto. In this message, we continue our series on The Anchor, looking at why our relationships must remain a priority during seasons of transition. Just as Jesus is the unchanging Anchor we can hold onto, God has also given us people who are meant to walk with us through the journey. Through the stories of Noah, Abram, the Prodigal Son, Naomi, Ruth, Orpah, and Paul, we see an important truth: The call may be individual, but the journey is relational. Transitions can tempt us to isolate, abandon foundational relationships, or cling to people whose motives aren’t rooted in genuine love. But Scripture reminds us that God often accomplishes His purposes through faithful, committed relationships. Ruth’s decision to remain with Naomi seemed to make little sense in the moment—but God was working through their transition in ways they could never have imagined. Her faithfulness became part of a story that ultimately led to the lineage of Jesus. You may not know where your transition is taking you, but you don’t have to know the destination to trust God with the transition. As you listen, consider: Who are the “fortress people” God has placed in your life? Are you tempted to isolate during a difficult transition? Are you building on the relationships God has already given you? Are you a Ruth—a faithful friend who stays even when there seems to be nothing to gain? What is God asking you to trust Him with in this season? “He alone is my rock and my salvation; he is my fortress, I will not be shaken.” — Psalm 62:6 Don’t walk through your transition alone. Hold tightly to Jesus, honor the people God has placed around you, and trust Him with where He is leading you. The Anchor | Pastor John Eaton | Transitions | 08/23/2026
2026/08/23
Life is full of transitions. New seasons, new relationships, new opportunities, loss, change, uncertainty, and storms. Some transitions are exciting. Others are painful. And sometimes, we find ourselves stuck somewhere in between. But what if there is something—and Someone—you can hold onto through every transition? In this message, “The Anchor,” we discover the hope we have in Jesus Christ. Hebrews 6:19 reminds us that “we have this hope as an anchor for the soul, firm and secure.” When everything around you is changing, God remains constant. When the storm is raging, the anchor still holds. When life feels uncertain, Jesus gives us hope, purpose, stability, and the assurance that God’s promises are true. Drawing from Hebrews 6, Psalm 46, Psalm 62, Ecclesiastes 3, and Revelation 21, this message reminds us that every season has a purpose—and that our ultimate hope is found in Jesus. No matter what transition you are in, hold tight to the Anchor. His name is Jesus. 📖 “We have this hope as an anchor for the soul, firm and secure.” — Hebrews 6:19 If this message encouraged you, like, subscribe, and share it with someone who needs hope in the middle of a transition. #TheAnchor #Transitions #Jesus #Hope #Faith #ChristianSermon #Hebrews6 #GodIsFaithful #FaithInTheStorm #Christianity #HopeInJesus
God is Faithful | Pastor John Eaton | 08/16/2026
2026/08/16
What does it mean that God is faithful? In Hebrews 10:15–23, we are reminded that because of Jesus, we can draw near to God with confidence and hold firmly to the hope we profess—because He who promised is faithful. Faithfulness means being stable, steady, firm, and true. People may change. Circumstances may shift. The world may constantly chase what is new. But God does not change, abandon His promises, or walk away from His people. In this sermon, we explore what Scripture reveals about the faithfulness of God: • God is Stable — He is our Rock, and His ways are trustworthy. • God is Steady — He does not change with circumstances or emotions. • God is Firm — He is completely committed to His promises and to His people. • God is True — His Word and His ways conform to reality and lead us toward life. • God is Faithful — His steadfast love never ceases, and His mercies are new every morning. When we know what God has promised, we can live differently in the present. Faith is knowing what God has promised and taking the next step based on that knowledge. The world may change, but God remains the same. Jesus Christ is the same yesterday, today, and forever. “Let us hold unswervingly to the hope we profess, for he who promised is faithful.” — Hebrews 10:23 NIV Be encouraged today: God is faithful. You can trust Him. You can stand on His promises. And you can move forward in faith because He already knows the future. Rightly Judge | Pastor John Eaton | The People's Court | 08/09/2026
2026/08/09
Wisdom From Above: Learning to Judge Rightly What if some of the things we think are obvious in Scripture are actually the very things we need to understand most? In this sermon, we explore what it means to rightly judge—not according to our emotions, envy, selfish ambition, or personal preferences, but according to the wisdom that comes from God. Jesus repeatedly challenged the religious leaders of His day because they knew the Law but missed the heart of the Law: love. He healed on the Sabbath, ate with sinners, touched lepers, welcomed people from every background, and confronted religious hypocrisy. His actions remind us that knowing Scripture isn't enough—we must know God's heart. James 3:13–18 gives us a powerful contrast between wisdom from above and wisdom from below. Wisdom from above is: • Pure • Peace-loving • Considerate • Full of mercy • Impartial • Sincere • Producing good fruit Wisdom from below is marked by: • Bitter envy • Selfish ambition • Disorder • Accusation • Pride • Division The challenge is to recognize when our own flesh is influencing the way we judge our spouse, family, friends, coworkers, church, and the people around us. Are we frustrated because someone isn't doing things our way? Are we bothered because someone else is receiving the recognition we wanted? Are we constantly looking for what others are doing wrong? Are we using Scripture to justify what our flesh already wants to believe? Jesus calls us to something higher. “Don’t be hypercritical; use your head—and heart!—to discern what is right.” — John 7:24 MSG There is no law against love. This message challenges us to examine our hearts, crucify selfish ambition and envy, and pursue the wisdom that comes from above. Scriptures referenced: Matthew 24:1–11 2 Timothy 4:3–4 1 Corinthians 10:12 James 3:13–18 John 7 1 Samuel 18:7 Hebrews 11:31 Galatians 5:19–26 If this message speaks to you, like, subscribe, and share it with someone who needs to hear it. #ChristianSermon #GodlyWisdom #WisdomFromAbove #Jesus #BibleTeaching #Christianity #Faith #James3 #Galatians5 #SpiritualGrowth #GodsWord #ChristianLiving
The Secrets | Pastor John Eaton | The People's Court | 08/02/2026
2026/08/02
Who are you when no one else is looking? In this powerful message, we explore the "secret place"—the hidden courtroom where only you and God see what happens. Jesus taught that our private lives reveal the true condition of our hearts, and that God doesn't just see what is done in secret—He rewards it. This sermon examines how our unseen choices shape our relationship with God, why secret faithfulness matters, and how God honors those who choose obedience, generosity, prayer, and worship when no one is watching. 📖 Scriptures: • Matthew 6:1–21 • Proverbs 9:17 • Deuteronomy 29:29 • 2 Samuel 12 • Romans 2:16 • 1 Timothy 5:25 In this message you'll discover: • Why your private life reveals your spiritual condition. • The difference between secret sin and secret faithfulness. • How God rewards giving, praying, and fasting done in secret. • Why heavenly rewards are greater than earthly recognition. • How to build a genuine relationship with God that doesn't depend on public approval. Whether you're struggling with temptation, longing for a deeper walk with Christ, or simply want your faith to be authentic, this message will encourage and challenge you to live for an audience of One. Precedent | Pastor John Eaton |The People's Court | 07/26/2026
2026/07/26
What guides your decisions when life isn't black and white? In this message, we explore the biblical principle of precedent—the idea that God's consistent character and timeless truth provide a foundation for how we live today. Throughout Scripture, God establishes principles that bring predictability, trust, and justice, but He also calls us to discern the difference between eternal truths and situational instructions. This sermon tackles several important topics, including: The purpose of biblical precedent Why God's consistency gives us confidence The Ten Commandments as enduring precedent Women in ministry and interpreting difficult passages Divorce, remarriage, spiritual gifts, food laws, and Christian freedom Solomon's wisdom and the question that should guide every decision: "Is it love?" Jesus taught that the greatest commandments are to love God and love others. When we allow the law of love to shape our decisions, we discover the heart behind God's commands and build lives that honor Him. Key Scriptures: • Exodus 20 • Galatians 3:26–28 • Romans 16 • Acts 16, 18 & 21 • Ephesians 5:18 • 1 Kings 3:16–28 • 1 Corinthians 13 If this message encouraged or challenged you, be sure to Like, Subscribe, and Share it with someone who needs hope and biblical wisdom today. #Sermon #BibleTeaching #ChristianLiving #Faith #Jesus #Love #Truth #BiblicalWisdom #KingdomOfGod #Church

Preparing for Judgement Day, Love Matters | Pastor John Eaton |The People's Court | 07/12/2026
2026/07/12
One day, every person will stand before God. The question is: What will matter most? In this powerful message from our People's Court summer series, we explore the two judgments described in Scripture—the Great White Throne Judgment and the Judgment Seat of Christ—and discover what God desires from those who belong to Him. The Bible makes it clear that while salvation is by God's grace, our lives will still be evaluated. What will remain when our works are tested? According to Scripture, the answer is simple yet profound: Love matters. Drawing from 1 Corinthians 13, 2 Corinthians 5, Revelation 20, and other key passages, this sermon challenges us to examine not only our actions, but the motives behind them. True love is more than a feeling or attitude—it's a decision to honor God and serve others, even when it's difficult. In this message, you'll discover: • The difference between the Great White Throne Judgment and the Judgment Seat of Christ • Why every believer will give an account of their life • How God evaluates our motives—not just our actions • What it means to live a life that pleases Christ • Why love is the greatest investment you can make for eternity Key Scriptures: 📖 Revelation 20:11–15 📖 2 Corinthians 5:9–10 📖 1 Corinthians 3:12–15 📖 1 Corinthians 13 📖 Romans 14:12 📖 Matthew 21:28–31 If this message encouraged or challenged you, be sure to like, subscribe, and share it with someone who needs this reminder. The Verdict - When You are Located | Pastor John Eaton |The People's Court | 07/05/2026
2026/07/05
What happens when God asks, "Where are you?" It isn't because He doesn't know where you are—it's because He wants you to honestly see where you've ended up. In this powerful message, we explore some of the most searching questions God asks throughout Scripture. From Adam and Eve hiding in the garden, to the Prodigal Son coming to his senses, to Jonah's anger, Job's humility, and Elijah's discouragement, each story reveals a God who lovingly confronts us with truth before leading us toward restoration. Sometimes the greatest breakthrough begins with an honest answer to one question: "How did I get here?" If you've been blaming others, carrying anger, living in regret, or wondering why you feel distant from God, this sermon is an invitation to stop, let God speak, and allow Him to locate your heart. Scriptures in this message: • Genesis 3:9–13 • Genesis 4:9–10 • Luke 15:11–24 • Jonah 4 • Job 38–42 • 1 Kings 19:9–13 Key Takeaways: God's questions are invitations to truth, not condemnation. Healing begins when we stop making excuses. Humility opens the door to repentance and restoration. God meets us where we are—but He loves us too much to leave us there. Protect the Innocent | Pastor John Eaton |The People's Court | 06/28/2026

Who is protecting the innocent? In a world where accusations spread faster than truth and social media often becomes the court of public opinion, God calls His people to something different. Justice isn't about winning arguments—it's about protecting the innocent, confronting wrongdoing, and restoring relationships whenever possible. In this message from The People's Court series, we examine God's heart for justice through the Cities of Refuge, the wisdom of Proverbs, and ultimately the life of Jesus Christ—the only truly innocent One who was condemned so that we could be forgiven. Discover why God values the "lower courts" of family, friendships, and the church, how to respond when you've hurt someone unintentionally, and why defending truth matters more than taking sides. In this message you'll learn: • Why God commands us to protect the innocent • The danger of the "court of public opinion" • The difference between accidental harm and malicious harm • How to restore relationships before conflict grows • Why Jesus is our ultimate Refuge and example of perfect justice and mercy If this message encouraged you, be sure to Like, Subscribe, and Share it with someone who needs hope and biblical wisdom for navigating conflict.
