French House DJ & Producer | Releases on Get Physical, Peppermint Jam, KMS, Definitive & Moodfunk | Featured on Get Physical Radio | Played by Claptone, Jamie Jones & Chris Stussy Hi, I’m Simkid, a French DJ/Producer based in London, crafting deep, soulful & groovy house with a warm, analog touch. My music has been released on some of the biggest labels in house music, including: • Get Physical Music • Peppermint Jam Records • KMS Records (Kevin Saunderson’s legendary label) • Definitive Recordings (John Acquaviva’s imprint) • Moodfunk Records (Angelo Ferreri’s label) My tracks have been supported by major artists like Claptone, Jamie Jones, Seth Troxler, Sam Divine, Chris Stussy, and even playlisted by Defected. Recently, I had the honour of mixing the latest episode of Get Physical Radio, a platform that showcases some of the most exciting artists on the scene right now. My sound? A blend of deep house, tech house, disco and underground house, always with a touch of analog warmth, built with my Prophet-10, Alpha Base, TR-8S and spring reverb. DJ sets & live concept Beyond my studio work, I also bring a unique approach to the decks, mixing on 4 decks where I combine my own edits, unexpected acapellas and live loops. I also run my own mix series, called The Big Smoke Super House Club, recorded live across London, blending the best in house music with my own unreleased material and fresh edits. Before focusing fully on house, I built my DJ experience across the world, playing in cities like Paris, Luxembourg, Hong Kong, Dubai, Geneva, New York and London, where I’m now based. Let’s connect Whether you’re a label, DJ, promoter or just a house music lover, feel free to hit me up. I’m always up for sharing music, building new projects or jumping on a guest mix.
