Nydair Rouse is the Community Development Director for the non-profit It Takes A Village To Feed One Child based in King of Prussia. His non-profit work comes after a football career that saw him star at Simon Gratz High School and Division II West Chester University. Upon graduation from West Chester, Rouse, a defensive back, went on to spent time with the Green Bay Packers, the BC Lions of the CFL and the DC Defenders of the UFL. He reached these football heights after overcoming getting shot in the head in a random shooting in North Philadelphia back in 2016. For the first time in program history, the Holy Family University women's basketball team has advanced to the Elite Eight of the NCAA Division II Tournament. The 30-4 Tigers are the champs of the East Regional after picking up wins over Assumption, Southern Connecticut State and Daemen. In the Elite Eight, Holy Family will take on 29-3 Indiana University of Pennsylvania on Tuesday afternoon at 2:30 in Pittsburgh, PA. Michelle Vittese is the head field hockey coach at Temple University. She has been in that role since taking over on an interim basis in August of 2021. That interim tag was removed a few months later in November. She has led the Owls to winning records in each the last four seasons, including a 12-6 ledger in 2025. She was a star field hockey player at the University of Virginia and played extensively for the US National Team including in the 2012 and 2016 Summer Olympics. John Spagnola spent the 1980's playing tight end for the Eagles. He caught 256 passes, including 14 touchdowns, in eight seasons in Philadelphia, and he helped the Eagles advance to Super Bowl 15 to cap the 1980 campaign. Josh Copskey is getting ready for his fifth season as the head baseball coach at Division III Immaculata University in Chester County. So far, he has led the Mighty Macs to three Atlantic East Championships and three appearances in the NCAA regionals as head coach. The Villanova University football team is two wins away from a national championship. The 12-2 Wildcats have advanced to the national semifinals of the FCS playoffs, where they will host Illinois State on Saturday at 7:30 p.m. at Villanova Stadium. The Wildcats have defeated Harvard (52-7), Lehigh (14-7), and Tarleton State (26-21) to this point, winning the last two games on the road. Villanova brings an 11-game overall winning streak and a 23-game home winning streak into Saturday night. Illinois State is 11-4, and the Redbirds have won all three of their playoff games on the road. The winner of this game will play the winner of Montana/Montana State for the national title on Jan. 5 in Nashville, Tennessee. John "Hench" Murray has served as the radio analyst for football broadcasts at his alma mater, the University of Pennsylvania, for 44 seasons. He has shared the booth with several well-known Philadelphia play-by-play voices (including Merrill Reese) and has well over 400 Penn broadcasts to his credit. His broadcasting career followed a successful stint in high school coaching at Penn Charter. All this is in addition to his very impressive career in education administration. Gary Williams was one of the greatest college basketball coaches in history. The Collingswood, New Jersey native won 668 games in 33 years as a college head coach at American, Boston College, Ohio State and Maryland. He is probably best known for his 22-year run at his alma mater the University of Maryland, where he led the Terrapins to back-to-back Final Fours and the 2002 National Championship.
