Do We See? | Mark 10:46-52
2026/09/27
Bartimaeus was blind, but he could see that Jesus was the Messiah. His faith that Jesus was the Messiah gave him back his sight. He trusted in the mercy of God. Do we see? The sermon recounts a similar miracle in our day.
The Servant | Mark 10:35-45
2026/09/20
The kingdom God is upside down from the kingdoms of man. The disciples were having a hard time understanding the heavenly perspective. Jesus told the servant is greatest of all. That was the example He was setting for them, which they would follow in time. Jesus' ultimate service to us was His sacrificial death on the cross to make us His bride.
A Testimony of the Soul | Psalm 73

Almost Impossible | Mark 10:23-34
2026/09/06
It is impossible for those who trust in their wealth to enter the kingdom of God. But with God's gracious help, we can turn our hearts away from the things of the world to Jesus and live for Him.
Receptive or Not | Mark 10:13-22
2026/08/30
A little child is the perfect picture of how we should be with our heavenly Father. Their faith and dependency on their Father is how we should be with God. By contrast, the rich, young, ruler was dependent on his money for security and could not look to God for all his needs. The faith and trust of a child receives the kingdom of God but the lack of trust and faith prevents our acceptance of the kingdom.
Divorce | Mark 10:1-12
2026/08/23
Our passage this week is on Jesus' teaching on divorce. It helps to know the discussion in the Jewish world at the time. We can also see how Jesus taught to properly interpret the Scriptures.
Be Salty | Mark 9:42-50
2026/08/16
Today's passage covers a severe warning to those who harm the little ones, whether children or new believers. It is followed by series of warnings to resist sin lest we find ourselves destined to eternal punishment. We master sin, or it masters us.
Childlike | Mark 9:33-41
2026/08/09
The heavenly perspective of greatness is humble dependence on God and loving service towards our fellow believers. That was followed by the lesson that the one who is not against us is for us, and the encouraging promise of reward for blessing our fellow believers.
The Power Cord | Mark 9:9-32
2026/08/03
The sermon covers two topics: The Jewish Messianic thought as related to Christian theology and the reason for the disciples inability to cast out the demon from the boy whose father cried out for more faith.
Listen to Him! | Mark 9:1-8
2026/07/26
Transfigured is a translation of the Greek word metamorphos from which we get metamorphosis. The Son of God burst through His chrysalis of human flesh and spread His wings of light, pure, glorious light. The darkness fled. The two prophets of old in glory were illuminated even more by Jesus' glory and spoke of His departure.
Mind the Things of God | Mark 8:31-38
2026/07/19
Jesus rebuked Peter for minding the things of men more than the things of God. Then He went on to explain how we need to lose our life to find it, meaning giving up our natural desires and cravings to have the life of God in us. This passage challenges us to live in Christ and have our minds transformed that we might truly have life.
Who is Jesus? | Mark 8:27-30
2026/07/12
This is probably the most important sermon you could read. Jesus asked the disciples, "Who do you say I am?" He asks each person who ever lived something similar. The sermon explores what people thought then and now and challenges us to answer and then live accordingly.
Christ Our Passover | Exodus 12: 1-14

Step by Step | Mark 8:22-26
2026/06/28
Faith is more important than health. In our passage today
Jesus encourages a man little by little to have the faith to receive
physical healing. The miracle pictures our gradual growth in faith and
trust in our Savior.
