For Your Glory: Why and How We Worship with Trip Lee
2026/04/20
Trip Lee is an author, teacher, and hip-hop artist who recently released new worship music titled “For Your Glory.” He joins Jackie and Preston for a conversation about worship music, rap music, and the importance of music in our lives as followers of Jesus.  Music plays a major role in spiritual formation – singing truth helps us remember and believe what is true about God. Worship is not just the fluff before a sermon; it’s a response to who God is. Ultimately, worship is about making much of Jesus, and it’s something we’re called to participate in together. Sex, Sexual Trauma, and God’s Design with Dr. Juli Slattery
2026/04/13
Sex is a living metaphor. It’s how we experience oneness with the person we’ve committed to be in a covenant relationship with, similar to the relationship between Christ and the church. Dr. Juli Slattery joins the Perrys to discuss the importance of seeing sex as an ongoing journey of intimacy, not just a physical act, requiring emotional vulnerability and communication.  The Perrys’ conversation with Dr. Slattery covers sexual trauma, pornography, entitlement, libido, and purity culture. Everything God created, He designed to be a reflection of himself, and that includes sex. Single, dating, married, widowed, divorced – this episode about sexuality is a helpful and necessary conversation for everyone to learn from. On Leadership, Assignment, and Brokenness with Dr. Crawford Loritts
2026/04/06
Dr. Crawford Loritts joins the Perrys for a conversation about leadership and the qualities that make someone worth following. True leadership is stewardship and sacrifice. Someone’s ability to lead is in direct proportion to their ability to serve. A good leader has conviction, not just knowledge, with wisdom that's the product of experience, not simply exposure to information. And Dr. Loritts talks about anointing being on the person, not their platform or performance, and how gifts are most developed when you focus on character and godliness. Infidelity, Broken Legs, and Healthy Marriage: Part Two with the Navarros
2026/03/30
TRIGGER WARNING: Suicide is briefly discussed in this episode. Here’s part two of Jackie and Preston’s conversation with Lymari and Tony Navarro. Last week you heard about Tony’s betrayal, and in this episode they discuss the restoration of their marriage.  Things are incredibly fragile after a spouse’s affair, and the Navarros are honest about that. Lymari says couples need a season of “incubation” if they want to restore their relationship – a time of intentionally surrounding yourself with wise counsel and cutting out people persuading you to leave the marriage (again, if both husband and wife are committed to reconciliation). Tony’s affair was 25 years ago, and five years went by before the Navarros were in a place to support other couples with stories like theirs. Be encouraged – restoration takes time.  This Episode is Sponsored By: https://gominno.com/ — Sign up online with code PERRY to get your first month FREE! https://timtebow.com/tree-perry/ — Get your copy of If the Tree Could Speak by Tim Tebow on Amazon today! Rebuilding a Broken Marriage with Lymari and Tony Navarro
2026/03/23
“Our story is a warning to some and a hope to others.” Three years into their marriage, Lymari Navarro got an anonymous phone call from a woman who said, “Your husband is having an affair.” When confronted, Tony told Lymari he had fallen out of love with her, but she chose grace over the Biblical “right” she had to a divorce. The enemy attacks marriages because it is the most accurate relationship to that of Jesus and the church. Marriage shows off the gospel in a way that nothing else can, and the transformational impact of that undeserved grace is on display in the story you’ll begin to hear in this week’s episode. Come back next week for part two of the Perrys’ conversation with Lymari and Tony. The Navarros have benefitted from and speak at FamilyLife’s Weekend to Remember events. Everybody Got a Lil Peter in Them
2026/03/16
Peter may be one of the most relatable disciples. He’s bold, passionate, sometimes impulsive, and a natural leader, which we read about in Scripture. His story shows how our greatest strengths can become massive stumbling blocks. From boldly declaring Jesus as the Messiah to denying Him three times, Peter’s life reminds us how quickly we can fall, yet his restoration shows us the heart of God. After your failure, do you run to Jesus? Like we see in Peter’s story, Jesus is patient with us and committed to making us more like Him. The Devil is a Liar: A Conversation on Making War Against Lies with Jennie Allen
2026/03/09
There are three core lies we all believe: “I’m worthless, I’m unlovable, and I’m helpless.” These beliefs can grow into strongholds that influence our thoughts and actions over time. Jennie Allen joins the Perrys to talk about how the enemy often makes lies like these feel rational and normal, and then we agree with the lies without realizing it. We need God’s Word and the truth of the Gospel to help us fight them. Jennie’s encouragement is that you are not especially broken because you believe lies. She says, “The reason the enemy comes for you is because you’re loved. Because you love God and He loves you, that makes you a target. Don’t let shame enter your story more than it already has.” Check out Jennie’s new book, “The Lie You Don't Know You Believe”  https://www.amazon.com/Lie-You-Dont-Know-Believe/dp/1400249821 Follow @JennieAllen: https://www.instagram.com/jennieallen/ Scripture references: 1 John 1:5-7 Matthew 4:4-6 John 14:30 John 16:33 Ephesians 6:10-13 This Episode is Sponsored By: https://fieldofgreens.com — Get 20% off with promo code PERRY https://timtebow.com/tree-perry/ — Get your copy of If the Tree Could Speak by Tim Tebow on Amazon today! - Learn more about your ad choices. I Believe, But Help My Unbelief
2026/03/02
Scripture tells us that the righteous shall live by faith, but what does that actually look like and how can we grow in faith? In this episode, the Perrys explore how unbelief sits at the root of sin, why spiritual fruit reveals what we truly believe about God, and how maturity in Christ leads to deeper, more specific repentance. Rather than striving for acceptance through good works, faithful obedience flows from the acceptance that is already ours in Jesus. Theology for Teens with Alena Franklin
2026/02/23
What began as a childlike love for Jesus was tested when Alena Pitts Franklin's mom died suddenly when Alena was just 14 years old. Alena’s grief challenged and deepened her understanding of who God is, revealing what she truly believed about His character. Alena has written a devotional called “God Is,” designed for teen girls and young women to understand God’s character – infinite, omnipotent, ever-present, good, loving, and our safe place. Theology isn’t just academic, it’s practical, personal, and essential for teens walking through real life.  Scripture references: Isaiah 41:10 Check out Alena's book, God Is ― A Devotional for Teen Girls & Young Women: 60 Days of Learning Who God Is to Understand Who We Are: https://www.amazon.com/Devotional-Teen-Girls-Young-Women/dp/B0DT8KRZZK This Episode is Sponsored by: https://timtebow.com/tree-perry/ —  Get your copy of If the Tree Could Speak by Tim Tebow on Amazon today! Stewarding the Body and Fleeing Sexual Sin
2026/02/16
Try before you buy? No. An important part of becoming one in marriage is the process of learning one another with each other. Relationships (and sex) take curiosity and communication, and the Perrys talk about how there’s joy in figuring things out together.  Our bodies matter to God. There’s protection in His design for sex to be experienced within the covenant of marriage, and God is grieved any time we give our bodies away. A conversation like this can feel condemning, but God is merciful to restore our purity, remove memories of past intimacy, and help us point others to the hope of the Gospel too. Real Christian Maturity and How to Have Lasting Fruit with Christine Caine
2026/02/09
Today’s guest, Christine Caine, says that one of the greatest testimonies in our generation is a resilient, enduring faith. No matter what is happening around you, you can continue to flourish when you are rooted and grounded in the love of God. Christine and the Perrys discuss what it looks like to lean into sanctification rather than run from it, what the imagery of the olive tree in Scripture teaches us, and why followers of Christ can flourish while still grieving the darkness of our world. This life is hard. It doesn’t get easier. But what’s on the other side is worth it: intimacy with Jesus. Diabetes, Sovereignty, and Sickness
2026/02/02
With The Perrys is back, and the first conversation of 2026 is all about suffering and God’s sovereignty. Jackie shares the story of being hospitalized last fall, receiving a life-altering diagnosis of Type 1 Diabetes, and how the adjustment in her health has deepened her dependence on the Lord. Jackie and Preston wrestle with the mystery of why God allows suffering and what it means to trust that God is both sovereign and good, even when life hurts. You can be in pain and still have joy. And even when healing doesn’t come, God is still good. Getting to Know Aunt CeCe (Winans)
2025/12/15
We’ve got a special conversation to wrap up the year before a holiday break. The Perrys are joined by their friend and Gospel-music artist CeCe Winans. CeCe shares how meeting the Lord at a young age shaped both her music and her priorities in life. The love of God has always been her motivator and she strives to please Him in all she does.  From the fear of the Lord helping her navigate the music industry to choosing home and church over public calling, CeCe reflects on what has kept her grounded, She says, “I don’t worship what I do. I worship who He is.” CeCe’s challenge to listeners is to stay consistent in the things that matter, because you honor God, He’ll honor you.Follow CeCe: https://www.instagram.com/cecewinans Find CeCe on her MORE THAN THIS Tour: https://cecewinans.com/tour/ This episode is sponsored by: https://fieldofgreens.com — Get 20% off when you use promo code PERRY at checkout!  Subscribe to the Perrys' newsletter: https://withtheperrys.myflodesk.com/zhfus4jx1s Join Preston's discipleship community for men: https://www.patreon.com/PrestonPerry/membership To support the work of the Perrys, donate via PayPal: https://paypal.me/withtheperrys Shop BOLD Apparel: boldapparel.shop Learn more about your ad choices. “What’s Love Got to do With it” with Jada Edwards
2025/12/08
We all have “love issues.” John 13:35 says that love is to be our identifying mark as Christians – not our wisdom or spiritual gifts or activity – but being a loving person is difficult.   Jada Edwards has a new book out called A New Way to Love Your Neighbor that she wrote out of a season where she struggled to love well. The Lord revealed to her that she couldn’t be the originator of grace for other people. She needed God to reveal His love for her specifically, continually, so she’d be filled up with love to give.   Jada and the Perrys explore the definition of agape love in which the person initiating the love determines the value of the one they love. They talk about how Biblical love for others almost always requires decision – deciding to love – instead of affection. And ultimately, love needs wisdom to be effective. We need to slow down, pray, and ask Holy Spirit to guide us in how to love.   Scripture references: John 13:35 1 John 4:8 Connect with Jada: https://www.instagram.com/jada_edwards/   This Episode is Sponsored By:   https://gominno.com — Get your first month FREE when you use code PERRY at sign up. A Conversation About Anxiety with Blair Linne
2025/12/01
Before they were podcasters, the Perrys did spoken-word poetry, and this week’s guest had a profound impact on them as one of the first “viral” Christian poets online.  Blair (Wingo) Linne joins Jackie and Preston to talk about her new book, Made to Tremble: How Anxiety Became the Best Thing That Ever Happened to My Faith. Blair discusses how past traumas – including the sudden death of her infant brother and a car accident that totaled their family vehicle – shaped her present anxiety and how that anxiety drove her even closer to the Lord. She explains how all of Scripture points to peace as a person – God is our peace, which means that peace is not a result of our circumstances. Blair’s encouragement is to find the Lord and trust that He’s going to be with you, even if He has you trembling for the rest of your life.
