The guys are back, and this one starts with a recap of a golf outing that was an absolute blast! From questionable golf shots to even more questionable decisions, the guys look back on a great day on the course. Cibs gets an invite to the Urias Cup, Carl gets his truck fixed, Cibs has some beef to get off his chest, and Michael may have officially discovered his hidden talent. Apparently, the man can name song titles like Rain Man counting cards. As always, there’s plenty of golf, stories, arguments, laughs and conversations that somehow manage to go completely off the rails.

The dads are back at Whiskey Drink for another episode of Pants Optional, talking about a little bit of everything life has to offer. The guys dive into the Iowa State Fair, beach vacations, the YouTube videos we all secretly watch when we have no idea how to fix or build something, and the return of football season. If you're a golfer, you'll want to listen until the end, there's a giveaway happening on September 12th at Westwood, during the 4-man best ball tournament, listen closely for details.  Somehow, J-Sump actually manages to keep the conversation on the rails this time, which may be the biggest story of the episode. As always, it's dad talk, random stories, questionable opinions, and plenty of conversations that have absolutely nothing to do with where they started. Grab a drink and join the guys for another episode of Pants Optional.

This week on Pants Optional, the dads take the show on the road to Westwood Golf Course for an episode filled with laughs, terrible golf, and even worse musical knowledge. The guys put their ears to the test trying to identify songs from different decades, debate the worst things about being an adult that you have to spend money on, and break down Jsumps' golf game, including his unique ability to fish golf balls out of the pond.  And because no great dad gathering is complete without food, don't forget... we have pizza! Grab your clubs, kick back, and enjoy another episode that somehow starts on the golf course and ends everywhere else.

On this episode of Pants Optional, the dads head to Newton's favorite fireworks tent to sit down with Brian Shores, owner of Store for Homes Furniture, to hear how the Central Iowa Fireworks tent got its start. As always, the conversation quickly goes off the rails as the guys talk cars, steak dinners, lawn mowing, questionable fireworks stories, and life in general. Be sure to listen closely for a special deal code that will score you a great discount at the Central Iowa Fireworks tent. Grab a chair, enjoy the laughs, and get ready for another classic episode of Pants Optional.

On Episode 73, the guys get an exclusive inside look at one of the most anticipated new venues in Newton, Whiskey Drink. Owner Jason Ray joins the show to share the story behind the dream, the challenges of bringing it to life, and all the exciting plans he has in store for the space. From concept to grand opening, Jason gives listeners a behind-the-scenes look at what it takes to turn an idea into reality.  Whether you're interested in entrepreneurship, local business, sports, family life, or just listening to four dads try unsuccessfully to stay focused, this episode has a little bit of everything. So grab your favorite drink, pull up a chair, and join us for another entertaining episode of Pants Optional

This week’s episode dives into questionable food choices, rare bird sightings around the farm that may or may not just be somebody’s escaped chicken, summer plans that probably won’t happen, and that elite Midwest feeling when Memorial Day Weekend officially unlocks “leave the garage door open” season. Grab a cold drink, fire up the mower you’ve been meaning to fix, and join the conversation, pants remain optional.

After a 7-month break, Pants Optional is finally back behind the mics for Episode 71, and absolutely nothing has changed. We dive into sports, family life, lawn tractors for some reason, and all the nostalgic stuff from childhood that somehow unlocked core memories for everybody. It’s part catch-up, part therapy session, and part complete train wreck. Lots of laughs, random stories, and the kind of conversations that only happen when four dads sit around with microphones and no real plan.

This week the guys dive headfirst into the chaos of high school playoff football, bold predictions are made, and the Cardinals have made everyone proud! But it wouldn’t be Pants Optional without a hard-hitting journalistic deep-dive into… proper butt-wiping procedure. Yes, technique is debated. Yes, strong opinions are shared. Yes, you will learn things you cannot unlearn. Plus: unsolicited life hacks, unnecessary sound effects, and the kind of “other fun stuff” that proves why pants are, and always will be, completely optional.

Your favorite foursome returns for another gas-powered episode of Pants Optional! Whether it was a bad bean night or just uncontrollable laughter, things get delightfully out of hand. Grab your headphones (and maybe some air freshener) it’s going to be a blast!

The boys are back again for another episode, two within 2 weeks, they are really getting after it. Mikes was busy with appointments but they still find plenty to cover in episode 68.

The boys had to get one episode in before the summer was over. Plenty of summer adventures to cover and long time friend of the program, Pat Riley stops by, while Jsump is home cleaning closets.

The guys jumped into an impromptu podcast. Too late for Mike and his busy schedule of appointments. A lot of great conversation with just the 3 crew members. Be sure to shoot us some topics on the social media pages if you have things for us to discuss and as always, pants are optional.

Back once again from hiatus, the guys enjoy a much needed session behind the mics. Some great conversations and laughs. We sure wish they could do this more often.

The guys welcome in their first ever female guest, Hailey Sumpter. Hailey highlights her time as an athlete at NHS.  It was great to get her perspective on being a student athlete and what her future plans are. As serious as this episode might seem, it doesn't lack the normal shenanigans, considering this was the first recording in 7 months. Thanks for listening.

Surprise surprise they're back again, 2 new episodes in 2 weeks! The guys run down Christmas shopping, Offseason gardening strategies, coaching. youth sports and so much more. This one gets a little long, but you'll definitely want to stay until the end.
