The Triumphal Entries of Jesus
2026/03/30
#PalmSunday #Ascension #Church
Most Palm Sunday sermons stop at the donkey ride. This one doesn't.Jesus didn't make one triumphal entry — He made many (and has one left to do). He entered Jerusalem to save. He entered heaven to reign. And He will enter this world again to restore everything. In this sermon, Dr. Tito Sotolongo walks through Luke 19, Psalm 110, and Acts 1 to show how the Ascension — not just the cross — reframes the entire Christian life. If you've ever watched something good end and wondered what God was doing, this message is for you.No matter what is going on — we know where we are going.SCRIPTURES REFERENCED IN THIS SERMON:Luke 19:35–38Zechariah 9:9Colossians 2:15Psalm 110:1Hebrews 10:11–12Hebrews 7:25Acts 1:9–11Philippians 3:20–21Revelation 21:4–5Hebrews 6:20Ephesians 2:61 Thessalonians 4:16–172 Peter 3:9#PalmSunday #TriumphalEntry #JesusIsKing #Sermon #Ascension #Bible #ChristianPreaching #Expository #GospelMessage #Church
Devil Worshippers or God Worshippers: How to know when you are doing either or

Are You Testing God? | The Second Temptation of Jesus Explained (Matthew 4:5-7)
2026/03/15
What does it mean to test God? And how do you know when something that looks like faith is actually foolishness? In this sermon from Matthew 4:5-7, we examine the second temptation of Jesus in the wilderness. Satan takes Jesus to the pinnacle of the temple and even quotes Scripture (Psalm 91) to try to convince Him to prove Himself. But Jesus exposes the trap by responding with Deuteronomy 6:16 — “You shall not put the Lord your God to the test.”This message explores a dangerous spiritual mistake many people make: misusing the Bible to pressure God into proving Himself. You’ll learn:- Why Satan quoted Scripture during Jesus’ temptation- The difference between real faith and testing God- How people today misapply Bible verses like fortune cookies- Why trying to force God’s hand is not faith- How the story of Massah in Exodus connects to this temptation- Why trusting God’s character is better than demanding proof- Whether you are exploring Christianity or have followed Christ for years, this teaching will help you recognize when faith crosses the line into foolishness.- The good news of the Gospel is that even when we fail, God’s grace meets us in our foolishness and calls us back to trust Him.- Stop testing God. Start trusting Him.Scripture in this Message- Matthew 4:5-7- Psalm 91- Deuteronomy 6:16- Exodus 17 (Massah)Topics Covered- The Temptation of Jesus explained\- Misusing Scripture- What it means to test God- Faith vs foolishness- Trusting God in difficult circumstances- Spiritual warfare and temptation
Why Jesus refused to turn stones into bread | Matthew 4:1-4 Explained (The 1st Temptation of Jesus)
2026/03/15
Why did Jesus refuse to turn stones into bread?
In Matthew 4:1-4, we see the first temptation of Jesus in the wilderness. After fasting for forty days, Satan tempts Jesus to use His power to satisfy His hunger. But instead of taking the shortcut, Jesus responds with Scripture:
“Man shall not live by bread alone, but by every word that comes from the mouth of God.”
This powerful moment reveals something every believer must learn: true life is found by trusting God, not by depending on ourselves.
In this sermon, we explore:
• Why Jesus was led into the wilderness• What Satan was really tempting Jesus to do• How the enemy tries to make us doubt God’s goodness and provision• The connection between Jesus, Israel in the wilderness, and the manna story• Why temptation often targets our comfort, control, and desire for shortcuts• How Jesus shows us the path to true joy in the wilderness seasons of life
The wilderness is not just where Jesus was tempted—it is where God teaches us to trust Him.
When we are hungry for satisfaction, purpose, or happiness, the answer is not self-dependence. The answer is Christ Himself.
Jesus is the Bread of Life (John 6:35).
True life is not found in shortcuts or self-reliance, but in trusting the Word of God and resting in Christ’s finished work.

Break The Loop: Why nothing "new" in this world is enough
2026/02/16
Life can feel like a loop—same pressure, same disappointments, same sins, same emptiness. Ecclesiastes 1:1–12 tells the truth: there’s “nothing new under the sun” that can truly satisfy you or set you free. In this message, we’ll see two problems Solomon exposes: the world can’t make you whole, and you can’t break the cycle on your own.
But the good news is this: the “new” that can break the loop isn’t found in a product, a plan, or a fresh start—it’s found in a Person. Jesus is the only Name powerful enough to forgive, renew, and make all things new.
Our Witness Is Our Business
2026/02/09
When life is loud and you’re exhausted, the needs around you can feel overwhelming—so you shut down, stay busy, or feel guilty for not doing more. But Jesus doesn’t call you to guilt or grand plans. He calls you to see people the way He sees them and to witness with the power He provides.
In Matthew 9:35–38, Jesus looks at the crowds with deep compassion—like sheep without a shepherd—and He tells us to pray for laborers. In Acts 1:6–8, He makes our mission clear: we don’t control the timeline, but we do have one assignment—be His witnesses, in love, as the Spirit empowers us.
If you’re tired, this message is for you: you don’t have to carry the weight of the world—just follow the Shepherd and faithfully testify to what you know and what He’s done.
The Trap of the Good Old Days: When Bad Memory and Good Imagination Hijack Your Life
2026/01/26
Ever catch yourself saying, “Man… the good old days”?
Ecclesiastes 7:10 calls that habit what it really is: foolishness that quietly steals today.
In this message, we’ll expose why nostalgia feels comforting but can actually distort reality, dull gratitude, and distract you from God’s present grace, and we’ll learn how wisdom helps you live fully right now.

Growth in the Graveyard ~ Mark 8:32-38
2026/01/18
What if real spiritual growth only happens when something in you dies? In Mark 8:34–38, Jesus doesn’t offer a comfortable Christianity—He offers a living one. This message will challenge every “cross-less” version of faith and invite you into the surprising path where surrender becomes strength, loss becomes gain, and following Jesus becomes real life.

The In's & Out's of the Christian Faith
2026/01/12
Key text: Philippians 2:12-18
A good example can inspire you… or expose you. In Philippians 2:12–18, Paul shows us the “ins and outs” of the Christian life: not grinding to earn God’s love, but living from the power God is already working in you.
If you’ve been stuck between “I’m not worthy” and “It’s not worth it,” this message is for you. God wants to save you, sustain you, and strengthen you—so you can shine together with joy.
Start Right. Finish Well: One Resolution With Eternal Results
2026/01/04
Most New Year’s resolutions aim inward. But Scripture calls us higher.
In 2 Timothy 4:6–8, Paul models a life poured out for God and others, a race finished by grace, and a reward anchored in eternity. This sermon invites you to begin the year with one clear commitment that blesses others and keeps Christ’s return in view, because purpose is found when we live poured out.
Key Idea: Purpose is found when our lives are poured out for others.

The Light of Christmas: Why Jesus Became One of Us
2025/12/22
In this Christmas message from Hebrews 2:14–18, we see why Jesus had to become one of us. When life gets dark, we’re tempted to grab “fake lights” that promise peace but can’t save. But Christmas is God’s reminder that He didn’t send a picture of hope—He sent the real Light.
Jesus entered our humanity, stood in our place, and now helps us in the fight against sin and fear. Jesus is the Light by which we see and are saved—so believe and step into the Light, stay in the Light, and shine so others can see Jesus.
You’re Welcome: Unashamed of the Gospel and the People It Saves
2025/12/14
In this sermon on Romans 16, “You’re Welcome: Unashamed of the Gospel and the People It Saves,” we see how Paul’s long list of greetings reveals the power of the gospel to save us, strengthen us, and send us together. Discover why Christians must be unashamed of the gospel (Romans 1:16) and unashamed of the imperfect people Jesus has welcomed into His family. Watch this Romans 16 sermon to grow in love for the church, discern false teachers, and live on mission for Christ.
Why God Saved You: God’s Mercies and Your Mission – Romans 15:14–33
2025/12/07
In Romans 15:14–33, Paul shows that God’s mercies don’t just forgive us—they notify us of our mission. In this message we explore how God’s grace shapes our purpose in writing, serving, and praying, and how you can live on mission right where you are.
Agree to Disagree: Christian Grace in the Gray Areas
2025/12/01
Discover what Christian freedom really looks like in the gray areas of life. In this sermon on Romans 14:1–15:13, we explore strong and weak consciences, Christian liberty, and how believers can agree to disagree without dividing the church. Learn how the Gospel empowers us to welcome one another, handle non-essential disagreements, and walk side by side—even when we don’t see everything eye to eye.
Owe Nothing—Except Love: Living Under Authority, Indebted to Everyone
2025/11/26
What does Romans 13 really say about submitting to government, loving your neighbor, and living urgently for Jesus in today’s divided world? In this message, discover the biblical balance every believer needs between politics, love, and the soon return of Christ.
Too many Christians either idolize politics (putting hope in leaders above the Kingdom) or ignore the world completely. Romans 13 shows a third way: joyful submission where possible, courageous resistance when necessary, and an unending debt of love we gladly pay every day — because Jesus paid it all on the cross.
If you’re tired of fear-driven politics or apathetic Christianity, this sermon will rekindle your hope. The Gospel doesn’t call us to retreat or rage — it calls us to love sacrificially, live urgently, and point everyone to the mercy of Jesus.
