2026/09/28
What does it mean to be a man according to God’s design? In this episode, we explore biblical manhood through four key areas: God’s Word, women, work, and the world.Discover how men can live with greater purpose, integrity, courage, and influence by allowing Scripture—not culture—to define what it means to be a man. Becoming a better man isn’t about perfection. It’s about faithfully becoming the man God created you to be. Become Better Today www.betterman.com
The Courageous Man | Chris Harper
2026/09/21
Courage isn’t the absence of fear—it’s the willingness to stand firm in faith, truth, and obedience to God even when fear is present. A courageous man understands that biblical manhood is not defined by power, success, toughness, or control, but by character, humility, sacrifice, and a willingness to lead through service. In this episode, we explore what it means to become the kind of man God has called us to be. We talk about having the courage to stand for truth, take responsibility for our choices, protect and serve those entrusted to us, love our families sacrificially, pursue holiness, and trust God when the path ahead is uncertain.
Put Down Your Phone
2026/09/14
In a world where busyness is often celebrated, one of the greatest gifts a father can give his children is something money can't buy: his presence. Being a father isn't simply about providing financially. It isn't enough to put food on the table, pay the bills, and make sure your children have what they need materially.    Fathers are called to be actively involved in the lives of their children—to know them, listen to them, guide them, teach them, and love them.   Deuteronomy 6:6–7 reminds parents to teach God's truth to their children throughout everyday life. That means discipleship doesn't happen only at church or during a formal family Bible study.    It happens in the car, around the dinner table, while working together, during conversations, and in the ordinary moments of everyday life.   Featuring Josiah Jones
What's Your Job?
2026/09/07
For many men, work can become just a way to make money, pay the bills, and get through the week. But Scripture gives us a much bigger perspective. As Christians, we aren't ultimately working just for a boss, a company, or a paycheck—we are working for the Lord.   Colossians 3:23 says, “Whatever you do, work heartily, as for the Lord and not for men.”   That changes the way we approach our jobs.   Whether you're leading a company, working in an office, driving a truck, building something with your hands, serving customers, or raising a family, your work has value when it is done with integrity, excellence, and a desire to honor God.   Featuring Mike Satterfield
The Family Man
2026/08/31
In a world where success is often measured by career achievements, financial status, or personal accomplishments, what does it truly mean to be a successful man? From a Christian worldview, one of the greatest callings a man can embrace is being a family man—a husband, father, and spiritual leader who faithfully loves, serves, protects, and guides his family.   Being a family man is more than providing financially. While providing and protecting are important, Christian leadership also means being present, intentional, spiritually engaged, and emotionally available. A father teaches his children what it looks like to follow Christ—not merely through his words, but through the way he lives.   Deuteronomy 6:6-7 calls parents to teach God's Word diligently to their children. This means faith should not be something reserved for Sunday mornings. It should be demonstrated in everyday life—in conversations, decisions, conflict, forgiveness, prayer, work, and relationships.   A godly husband is also called to love his wife sacrificially. Ephesians 5:25 challenges husbands to love their wives “just as Christ loved the church and gave himself up for her.” That kind of love requires humility, commitment, patience, sacrifice, and servant leadership.   Featuring Jonathan Williams
God’s Man Follows God’s Word
2026/08/24
What does it really mean to be a man of God? It begins with one simple decision: to follow God’s Word, even when it’s difficult, unpopular, or uncomfortable.   We explore why God’s Word must be the foundation for a man’s life. Culture gives men countless messages about what strength, success, leadership, and masculinity should look like. But Scripture gives us a better standard. A godly man doesn’t simply talk about faith—he allows God’s Word to shape his decisions, character, relationships,  priorities, and leadership.   Following God’s Word requires obedience. It means choosing integrity when no one is watching, loving your wife sacrificially, leading your family spiritually, disciplining your children with wisdom and grace, treating others with humility, and taking responsibility for the man God has called you to become.   Featuring Colby Corsaut
Men Must Spiritually Lead
2026/08/17
What does it mean for a man to spiritually lead his family—and why does it matter? Spiritual leadership is not about control, dominance, or having the loudest voice in the home. It is about serving, sacrificing, teaching, protecting, and setting the spiritual direction through personal example.   A man cannot effectively lead spiritually if he is unwilling to first follow Christ himself. Spiritual leadership begins with a man's personal relationship with God—prayer, Scripture, obedience, repentance, humility, and a willingness to grow. You cannot lead your family somewhere you are unwilling to go yourself.   Featuring Kyle Reno
Courage Like Benaiah
2026/08/10
What does real courage look like? In this episode, we dive into the remarkable story of Benaiah, one of King David's mightiest warriors, whose extraordinary acts of bravery are recorded in 2 Samuel 23:20–23 and 1 Chronicles 11:22–25. Best known for chasing a lion into a pit on a snowy day and defeating it, Benaiah's story demonstrates that courage isn't the absence of fear—it's the decision to move forward despite it.   Featuring Mike Satterfield
Shame
2026/08/03
Noah is often remembered as the faithful man who built the ark and trusted God during humanity's darkest days. But after the flood, Scripture gives us a glimpse into Noah's humanity. Following his vineyard harvest, Noah became drunk and lay uncovered in his tent (Genesis 9:20–21), exposing a moment of vulnerability and failure.   Featuring Bryan Hurlbutt
What’s Your Legacy?
2026/07/27
What does it mean to leave a legacy that truly lasts? In this episode, we explore the biblical perspective on legacy—not as the pursuit of wealth, recognition, or personal achievement, but as a life that faithfully reflects Christ and points others to Him. Whether you're raising children, mentoring others, serving in your church, or simply seeking to live with greater purpose, this conversation offers practical encouragement and biblical wisdom for building a legacy rooted in God's eternal kingdom rather than temporary success.   Featuring Chris Harper at the Hawaii Men’s Summit 2026
Become the Best
2026/07/20
In this episode, we explore what it truly means to become the best in your job—not for personal fame or status, but as an act of worship to God. From a Christian worldview, work is more than a paycheck; it is a calling to reflect God's character through excellence, integrity, and service.   The Bible teaches that every task, whether seen or unseen, can be done for God's glory. As Colossians 3:23 reminds us, "Whatever you do, work at it with all your heart, as working for the Lord, not for human masters." Excellence begins with the understanding that Christ is our ultimate employer.   Featuring Tim Dunn at the Hawaii Men’s Summit 2026

Absolute Truth
2026/07/06
In this episode, we explore why reading God's Word is essential for spiritual growth and daily living. The Bible offers wisdom, encouragement, and guidance for every season of life. Regular time in Scripture helps deepen our relationship with God, strengthens our faith, and equips us to face life's challenges with hope and confidence. We also discuss practical ways to build a consistent habit of reading the Bible and how applying its teachings can transform our thoughts, decisions, and relationships. Whether you're just beginning your faith journey or have been studying the Bible for years, this episode reminds us that God's Word is a living source of truth that continues to shape and renew our lives every day.   Featuring Kyle Reno at the Hawaii Men’s Summit 2026
The Lasting Power of Early Guidance
2026/06/29
In this episode, we explore the wisdom of Proverbs 22:6 and what it means to "train up a child." The discussion highlights that parenting and mentorship involve more than teaching rules—they involve shaping character, values, habits, and faith through consistent example and instruction.   The verse emphasizes the importance of laying a strong foundation during a child's formative years. Early lessons about integrity, responsibility, compassion, and reverence for God often leave a lasting imprint that can guide a person throughout life. While children may face challenges, make mistakes, or take unexpected paths, the principles instilled in them can continue to influence their decisions as they mature.   Featuring Chris Harper
Bring People to Jesus
2026/06/22
In this episode, we explore the life of Andrew, one of Jesus’ first disciples, and a man whose quiet faith had an extraordinary impact. Although Andrew is not mentioned as often as some of the other apostles, a consistent pattern appears throughout the Gospels: Andrew was always bringing people to Jesus.   After hearing John the Baptist identify Jesus as the Messiah, Andrew followed Jesus and then immediately went to find his brother, Simon Peter, saying, “We have found the Messiah.” Andrew’s first recorded act was introducing someone else to Jesus—a moment that would ultimately influence the ministry of Peter and the growth of the early church. Featuring Chris Harper
