3. Step Into the Light
2026/09/22
What does it mean when the Bible says that God is light? It means God is glorious, God is true, and God is good. In a world filled with darkness, confusion, fear, and shame, God invites us to step into the light. In this message from our Love God series, we discover that God's light doesn't expose us simply to condemn us—it reveals the truth, leads us out of darkness, and brings freedom. When we know and love the God who is light, we no longer have to hide—we can walk confidently in His truth and goodness.
2. The God Who Is Set Apart
2026/09/21
What does it mean that God is holy? In Isaiah 6, Isaiah encounters a God who is completely set apart, pure, and unlike anyone or anything else. Seeing God's holiness causes Isaiah to see himself more clearly—but it also leads to cleansing, forgiveness, and calling. In this message from our Love God series, Daniel McCoy reminds us that when we truly see God for who He is, our response is worship, surrender, and a willingness to say, "Here am I. Send me!"
1. What If God Is Bigger Than Your Box?
2026/09/15
What does it really mean to love God? Jesus said the greatest commandment is to love God with all our heart, soul, mind, and strength. But to truly love God, we first need to know Him as He really is.
In this opening message of our Love God series, we turn to Jesus' conversation with the Samaritan woman in John 4 and His remarkable statement: "God is Spirit." We all have a tendency to put God in a box—to reduce Him to a version we can understand, manage, or control. But Jesus reveals a God who cannot be contained by a building, limited to a location, or confined by our assumptions. He is bigger than our boxes, yet He is also personal, present, and wants to be known.
Jesus also tells us that the Father is seeking people who will worship Him "in Spirit and in truth." In this message, we'll explore what that means, confront some of the false ideas we carry about God, and discover what it looks like to worship Him with our whole lives. The more clearly we see who God is, the more deeply we will love Him.
What If The Way Up Is Down?
2026/08/31
From the time we are young, we're taught to climb the ladder—work hard, accomplish more, move up, and become successful. There's nothing wrong with pursuing excellence or using the gifts God has given us. But what happens when climbing the ladder becomes our definition of a successful life?
In Mark 15, what appears to be Jesus' greatest defeat is actually the coronation of the King. At the cross, Jesus reveals a radically different vision of greatness: in the Kingdom of God, the way up is down. Greatness is found in serving, power is expressed through sacrifice, and true life is found by surrendering ourselves to Jesus.
The world hands us a ladder and tells us to climb. Jesus hands us a cross and says, "Follow me." In this message, we wrestle with a question that gets to the heart of discipleship: Am I going to spend my life climbing, or am I going to follow Jesus?
A Place at the Table
2026/08/28
Have you ever felt like you've let God down? Maybe anger got the best of you, an old habit returned, or you made a decision you regret. In those moments, guilt and shame can leave us wondering, What does God think about me now? Does He still want me?
In this message from the Gospel of Mark, we join Jesus and His disciples on the night He shared the Passover meal with them. Jesus knew what was coming—one disciple would betray Him, another would deny Him, and the rest would scatter. Yet knowing all of that, Jesus still invited them to the table.
Through the Lord's Supper, Jesus gives His followers a powerful way to remember what He has done, renew our relationship with Him, and remember that we don't walk this journey alone. Communion reminds us of the grace at the heart of the gospel: no matter how far we've wandered, Jesus invites us back to the table.
Discover why Communion matters and how this simple meal continually draws us back to Jesus. There's a place at the table for you.
What Matters Most
2026/08/27
The Most Important Thing
What matters most to God? In Mark 12, Jesus is asked one of the most important questions anyone could ask: "Of all the commandments, which is the most important?" His answer cuts through all the noise and gets to the very heart of what it means to follow Him.
Jesus teaches that loving God and loving people are not two separate commands, but two inseparable expressions of a life of discipleship. You cannot truly love God without loving the people God loves. In this message, we explore what it looks like to move beyond simply knowing about God and toward a life shaped by genuine love, hospitality, compassion, and service.
Join us as we continue our journey through the Gospel of Mark and discover why loving God and loving people really is The Most Important Thing.
4. The Seed Is Good. How's the Soil?
2026/07/27
In this sermon we continue our summer sermon series, Come Follow Me, as we journey through the Gospel of Mark. In Mark 4, Jesus tells one of His most well-known parables—the Parable of the Soils. While the seed remains the same, the condition of the soil determines whether it takes root and produces a harvest. Through this simple yet powerful story, Jesus invites us to look beyond the surface and examine the condition of our own hearts.
As we follow Jesus together, we'll discover that the greatest obstacle to spiritual growth isn't the power of God's Word—it's our willingness to receive it. Is our faith becoming shallow? Are the worries and distractions of life choking out what God wants to do in us? Or are we cultivating hearts that are ready to hear, trust, and obey? Join us this Sunday as we discover what it means to become the kind of people who bear lasting fruit for the Kingdom of God.
2. Why Fishermen?
2026/07/27
In this episode of Come Follow Me, we continue our journey through the Gospel of Mark by exploring one of the most surprising aspects of Jesus' ministry: the people He chose to follow Him. When the long-awaited Messiah arrived and the Kingdom of God broke into the world, Jesus didn't begin by recruiting kings, religious elites, or cultural influencers. Instead, He called ordinary fishermen and working-class people to become His first disciples.
Why would Jesus build His Kingdom through a group of blue-collar fishermen? What did He see in them that others overlooked? As we examine Mark's account, we discover that Jesus has always delighted in using ordinary people to accomplish extraordinary purposes. His invitation was not based on status, power, or credentials, but on a willingness to trust Him and follow Him.
This message is a powerful reminder that the same Jesus who called fishermen on the shores of Galilee is still calling people today. No matter your background, abilities, or past, Jesus invites you to join His mission and be part of what He is doing in the world.

2026/06/20

2026/06/20

Rather than relying on tradition or personal experience, we turn to Scripture to discover God's purpose and design for baptism. Join us as we examine what the Bible teaches, why baptism matters, and how understanding God's Word can bring greater confidence in our relationship with Jesus Christ. Whether you're exploring this question for yourself or seeking to better understand a different perspective, this message offers biblical clarity, grace, and encouragement.

7. I'm A Christian...Why Can't I Get My Life Together?
2026/06/18
Many Christians wonder, "If I follow Jesus, why do I still struggle?" In this message from Luke 5, we discover that Jesus didn't come for people who have it all together—He came for people who know they need Him. Explore the difference between forgiveness and transformation, and find hope that God is patiently at work bringing healing and change to every area of our lives.
6. Why Would A Loving God Allow Hell To Exist?
2026/06/05
In this message from our Asking For A Friend series, we tackle one of the most difficult and emotional questions people wrestle with: Why would a loving God allow hell to exist? Looking closely at the teachings of Jesus, this sermon explores what hell is, why it exists, and how God's justice and love work together. Most importantly, this message points us to the hope of the gospel and the heart of a God who desires people to be saved through Jesus Christ.
5. If God Is Good Why Does He Allow Evil?
2026/05/11
Why does a good God allow evil and suffering? If God is all-powerful, couldn't He stop it? And if He loves us, why doesn't He? In Part 5 of our Asking For A Friend series, we wrestle with one of the most difficult and personal questions people ask about faith. This message explores what the Bible teaches about evil, suffering, free will, and the heart of God toward those who are hurting. Whether you're walking through pain yourself or trying to help someone who is, this conversation offers biblical truth, honest perspective, and lasting hope.
4. What's The Deal With The Trinity?
2026/05/06
In this sermon podcast we tackle one of the most important—and often misunderstood—questions of the Christian faith: What's the deal with the Trinity? In a culture where God is often reduced to a vague feeling or distant idea, the Bible reveals something far more personal and powerful. God is not just one being to believe in—He is Father, Son, and Holy Spirit: one God in a perfect community of love. And what you believe about God doesn't just shape your theology—it shapes your entire life.
Join us as we explore how the Trinity isn't just a doctrine to understand, but a relationship to step into. Through Jesus, you can truly know God. Through His sacrifice, you are invited into His family. And through the Spirit, God is with you right now. Whether you've been following Jesus for years or you're still exploring faith, this message will help you see God more clearly—and experience His love more deeply. We hope you find this helpful!
