Chapter 41 looks A LOT different than 40. But isn't that the point? Last year, I had this insane desire to be ALONE to ring in my big milestone birthday, so I boarded a plane and headed to Punta Cana on my first solo trip out of the country. I'm a sand and sea girlie, don't judge me. Little did I know, I was being prepared to experience the greatest gift of all… Coming to know and love God more than anything in this world. And He continually has shown up and out, and I am forever grateful. Today, I'm engaged and expecting our first baby early in 2026...yes, did all of that at 40, so later bloomers, WHAT UP?! I share because last year, I needed a message like this—even though I felt so far from it. I cannot believe that this time next year, we'll celebrate with our little, God-given gift, a baby, after being childfree forever. I can't wait! ---- Hang with me on Instagram! 📺 Rather watch?

Hey, Bestie! I wish I could tell you how often I've heard, "I've been praying for you to find Jesus." I had moments where that felt offensive...but now, I GET IT. Come hang and let's chat about other people praying for you and you praying for others. Plus a few quick tangents on purpose and releasing your Petty Patty ways. This was originally recorded live on March 27th. "Therefore, confess your sins to one another and pray for one another, that you may be healed. The prayer of a righteous person has great power as it is working." ILYSM! P.S. I'm hosting a book club that starts this Wednesday, April 23rd. We're reading Fervent, I'd love to have you. Hey Bestie! If you've been listening to the most recent episodes on the podcast, you've probably heard me talk about the WWJD Framework to having better mornings. I figured, I'd break that down in a separate episode for you to help you have more intentional mornings. And don't worry, this isn't about waking up and drinking lemon water before your Matacha. No shade to those things if that's your jam/flow, but inside this episode, you'l find actionable steps to help you feel closer to God daily. Hey, bestie! I started this live during 'Meaningful Morning,' on March 26th to read John 9, the part where Jesus healed a blind man...and then things took a turn as we dissected the scripture. Before I knew it, I was a bucket of tears, feeling the gratitude for God, when I didn't have faith in a hospital room as a nurse when my life could have been changed FOREVER. I hope this episode speaks not to YOU, but to YOUR SPIRIT, and that you take a moment to take in just how POWERFUL God is. "Jesus answered, "It was not that this man sinned, or his parents, but that the works of God might be displayed in him. -John 9:3 ---- Hang with me on Instagram! 📺 Rather watch? https://www.yolandarussellcreates.com

Bestie, it's time to move your booty and take action. I will be BOLD and say this is an episode to SAVE and come back to when you're struggling to DO THE THING because of fear or procrastination. This was recorded on March 25th live, and where we made the actual shift to 'Meaningful Morning,' vs Baddie & Bibles. Today we are all up in 2 Timothy 1:7, and I hope this helps you spring into action! ILYSM. "For God has not given us a spirit of fear, but of power, and love, and self-control". 2 Timonthy 1:7

Hey, bestie! Let's talk about ANXIETY, and not that Doechii song (remember, you are what you consume) 👀 Anyway, if you've been following along with Meaningful Morning, you know I STAN Matthew! So, we're back today and dissecting and discussing what Jesus tells us about anxiety, which essentially is to STOP worrying. I'll also share something else I learned from Myron Golden, who shares that we should EXPECT disruption and that nothing in life is meant to go without a speed bump along the way. I hope this helps you, and as a reminder, we often need to TAKE ACTION to get rid of the anxiety that is stopping us from going forward. This was originally recorded live for 'Baddies and Bibles,' so excuse the audio quality. ILSYM "Therefore I tell you, do not be anxious about your life, what you will eat or what you will drink, nor about your body, what you will put on. Is not life more than food, and the body more than clothing? Look at the birds of the air: they neither sow nor reap nor gather into barns, and yet your heavenly Father feeds them. Are you not of more value than they? And which of you by being anxious can add a single hour to his span of life? And why are you anxious about clothing? Consider the lilies of the field, how they grow: they neither toil nor spin, yet I tell you, even Solomon in all his glory was not arrayed like one of these. But if God so clothes the grass of the field, which today is alive and tomorrow is thrown into the oven, will he not much more clothe you, O you of little faith? Therefore do not be anxious, saying, 'What shall we eat?' or 'What shall we drink?' or 'What shall we wear?' For the Gentiles seek after all these things, and your heavenly Father knows that you need them all. Hey bestie! If you're struggling trying to figure out your purpose, look no further. One day when I went out for a 7.5 mile training run, I accidentally switched on a Youtube, and little did I know that it would bring forth INSANE clarity about purpose. In this episode, I'll break down Myron Golden's perspective on purpose (and the fact that there are actually 4 different types of purpose). Spiritiual purpose Special purpose Social purpose Sacrifical purpose Take an audit of your life and discover if you're missing the mark on more than 1 of these types and then go back to working to figure it out. I hope this helps you! "And we know that for those who love God all things work together for good, for those who are called according to his purpose." - Romans 8:28 This was originally recorded live on March 23rd! ---- Hang with me on Instagram! 📺 Rather watch? https://www.yolandarussellcreates.com

Hey bestie! Food for thought - the Bible really tells us not to be Petty Patty, if we listen. And if you're anything like me, that can be hard. But that's exactly why we have to sit with the wisdom in order to be the person that God intended you to be. Today, let's get into LOVING YOUR ENEMIES TOO. PHEWWWIE! Let's breakdown Matthew 5:43-48 and get our souls snatched by Jesus' unwavering love and the invitation for you and me to do the same. "You have heard that it was said, 'You shall love your neighbor and hate your enemy.' But I say to you, Love your enemies and pray for those who persecute you, so that you may be sons of your Father who is in heaven. For he makes his sun rise on the evil and on the good, and sends rain on the just and on the unjust. For if you love those who love you, what reward do you have? Do not even the tax collectors do the same? And if you greet only your brothers, what more are you doing than others? Do not even the Gentiles do the same? You therefore must be perfect, as your heavenly Father is perfect. This was originally recorded on Saturday, March 22nd - the birds are chirping and happy, so excuse the audio...I promise there's still a powerful message here. I love you, thanks for listening to these Meaningful Morning episodes. I hope they're helping you have a better day. Welcome back, bestie- if you're bingeing these episodes, I'd love to hear your thoughts. Today, I want to offer you a reminder that Jesus doesn't need you to be perfect and that he loved and helped EVERYONE. This was originally recorded live on IG and Facebook, March 21st, early in the morning for 'Meaningful Morning.' I love you! "And as Jesus reclined at table in the house, behold, many tax collectors and sinners came and were reclining with Jesus and his disciples. And when the Pharisees saw this, they said to his disciples, "Why does your teacher eat with tax collectors and sinners?" But when he heard it, he said, "Those who are well have no need of a physician, but those who are sick. Go and learn what this means: 'I desire mercy, and not sacrifice.' For I came not to call the righteous, but sinners." - Matthew‬ ‭9‬:‭10‬-‭13‬ ‭ESV‬‬ ---- Hang with me on Instagram! 📺 Rather watch? https://www.yolandarussellcreates.com

Hey bestie! Today, let's talk about your mouth and how you're using it. Plus, why when we open our mouths for any reason that we are subjected to judgement. I'll break down the WWJD Method I use to have a more meaningful morning too. This was originally recorded live on March 20th during 'Baddie & Bibles,' which I'll eventually rename to 'Meaningful Morning.' I'll see you for another episode LIVE on IG or Facebook in the morning, check my stories, if you'd love to catch this live! "For every kind of beast and bird, of reptile and sea creature, can be tamed and has been tamed by mankind, but no human being can tame the tongue. It is a restless evil, full of deadly poison. With it we bless our Lord and Father, and with it we curse people who are made in the likeness of God. From the same mouth come blessing and cursing. My brothers, these things ought not to be so." ‭‭James‬ ‭3‬:‭7‬-‭10‬ ‭ESV‬‬ ---- Hang with me on Instagram! 📺 Rather watch? https://www.yolandarussellcreates.com

Bestie, it's time to stop playing small and get over that feeling of being 'too much.' Jesus literally GAVE YOU PERMISSION to SHINE BRIGHT, so like...girl, let's do that! This was originally recorded on March 19th on 'Baddies and Bibles.' A mini series where I've been going live on IG and Facebook and sharing a scripture and a little motivation for life. "You are the light of the world. A city set on a hill cannot be hidden. Nor do people light a lamp and put it under a basket, but on a stand, and it gives light to all in the house. In the same way, let your light shine before others, so that they may see your good works and give glory to your Father who is in heaven." ~ Matthew‬ ‭5‬:‭14‬-‭16‬ ‭ESV‬‬ ---- Hang with me on Instagram! 📺 Rather watch? https://www.yolandarussellcreates.com

Bestie - this is a Word, okay?! Today, we're in James, Chapter 2 - The Sin of Partiality - this one really calls us UP to how we treat others (and call us out on potential hypocrisy) . This was originally recorded on March 18, 2025, during 'Baddies and Bibles' a live mini series originally recorded on the Gram. Disclaimer: I don't share these as an expert but as a curious, new explorer, sharing the things I'm finding to help me have a better day and draw closer to God...and maybe it helps you too! If you really fulfill the royal law according to the Scripture, "You shall love your neighbor as yourself," you are doing well." - James 2:8 Have the best day, ILYSM! ---- Hang with me on Instagram! 📺 Rather watch? https://www.yolandarussellcreates.com

Hey bestie! Let's chat about keeping your faith EVEN during the HARD times. We'll also answer the question, 'does God test us?' This was originally recorded live, March 17, 2025 for 'Baddies & Bibles' - if you're following along with these you'll learn why I switched these to Meaningful Mornings. This is a live mini-series that I started doing in the mornings to sit with God's word and share and discuss with you. I've got at least 2 weeks' worth of these and gonna keep them coming until He tells me I'm finished. LOL. "Count it all joy, my brothers, when you meet trials of various kinds, for you know that the testing of your faith produces steadfastness. And let steadfastness have its full effect, that you may be perfect and complete, lacking in nothing." ‭‭James‬ ‭1‬:‭2‬-‭4‬ ‭ESV‬‬ ---- Hang with me on Instagram! 📺 Rather watch? https://www.yolandarussellcreates.com

Hey bestie! I was let to church - here's something to think about. This was originally recorded live, March 16, 2025 for Meaningful Mornings, a live mini-series that I started doing in the mornings to sit with God's word and share and discuss with you. I've got at least 2 weeks' worth of these and gonna keep them coming until He tells me I'm finished. LOL. Have I not commanded you? Be strong and courageous. Hey bestie! Welcome to the Meaningful Mornings, a live mini-series that I started doing in the mornings to sit with God's word and share and discuss with you. Just diving right in - but I've been doing these for the last 2 weeks and Facebook won't store our lives anymore, so we are repurposing and doing what we gotta do.   Today, let's talk about asking for HELP! Something so HARD for many of us to do! (originally recorded March 15, 2025) Tune in as I share why you may want to reconsider doing it all on your own and even worse –not going to God and asking for WHAT you need! Spoiler alert: He WANTS you to ask Him for things. BTW- I don't share these as an expert but as a curious, new explorer, sharing the things I'm finding to help me have a better day and draw closer to God. 'If you then, who are evil, know how to give good gifts to your children, how much more will your Father who is in heaven give good things to those who ask him! For everyone who asks receives, and the one who seeks finds, and to the one who knocks it will be opened. "Ask, and it will be given to you; seek, and you will find; knock, and it will be opened to you. Or which one of you, if his son asks him for bread, will give him a stone?
