What does leading from beside look like, and why would you want to take this approach? Brittany Scott, founder of GROW, describes leadership as coming alongside someone and offering the resources, connections, and information they need to make a good choice for themselves. This approach is a useful shift for leaders who want to support autonomy instead of creating dependence. It requires emotional intelligence, awareness, and a willingness to point people toward the direction they want to go.
