Finding Strength on The Camino
2026/06/30
Today's episode is a little different because we're recording it fresh off an incredible adventure. We just completed the Camino Portuguese, walking nearly 300 kilometres from Porto, Portugal, along the beautiful Atlantic coast, through small villages and into Santiago, Spain. If you're not familiar with the Camino, it's an ancient pilgrimage that's been walked for over a thousand years. People come from all over the world for many different reasons. Some are seeking adventure, some healing, some answers, and some simply want to see what they're capable of. This was my second Camino. The first time, I walked it alone, and it was one of the most life-changing experiences of my life. This time, I invited someone very special to join me—my newly retired sister-in-law and now fellow pilgrim, Lucy. Together we navigated blisters, steep climbs, long days, laughter, unexpected challenges, and unforgettable conversations. Along the way we met incredible people from around the world, discovered strengths we didn't know we had, and found new perspectives on resilience, wellness, and what really matters. Today we're sharing the highs, the hard moments, the lessons, and why sometimes taking one step at a time can change your life. Lucy, welcome to Your Wellness. I'm so excited to relive this journey with you.
Mental Health & Well-Being
2026/05/31
Hi, and welcome to another episode of Your Wellness. I'm Lisa Lounsbury, resilience and well-being expert, and today we're discussing an important topic: mental health and well-being. In light of the recent and tragic passing of Canadian hockey legend Claude Lemieux by suicide, I invited Clint Malarchuk back to the podcast to share his perspective on mental health, recovery, and hope. Clint has spent years navigating his own struggles with depression and has been remarkably open about his journey toward healing. As a former NHL player and passionate mental health advocate, Clint offers valuable insights into the stigma that still surrounds mental illness and why these conversations matter more than ever. Join us as we explore mental health, resilience, recovery, and the importance of seeking support. All that and more on Your Wellness.
Marriage & Menopause
2026/05/19
Today we’re talking aboutMarriage and Menopause — a conversation that many couples are still struggling to have openly. Far too often, unresolved menopause symptoms create confusion, frustration, emotional distance, and challenges within relationships, leaving couples feeling disconnected instead of supported during this major lifetransition. Joining me today are Judy and David Reese from Savannah, Georgia, who are sharing their personal journey of navigating menopause together as a couple. As working professionals andhosts of their own podcast, Marriage and Menopause, they are helping bring awareness to the biological, emotional, and relationship impacts of menopause while encouraging couples to come together with more understanding, communication, and support. This is such an important conversation and I’m excited to share it with you. All that and more on Your Wellness.
Menopause through his eyes.
2026/01/26
Today’s episode is a really important one — and honestly, one I’m proud to be sharing. I’m sitting down with Health and Safety Expert and Public Speaker, Allan J. Moore, to have a very real and open conversation about menopause — from a perspective we don’t hear often enough. Allan joins me not only as a health and safety professional, but also as a husband who found himself learning about menopause at the exact same time his wife was trying to understand what her body was going through. In this conversation, Allan opens up about what he witnessed, what surprised him, and what he wishes more men — and more workplaces — understood about this stage of life. He shares honest personal insights that help bridge the gap between misunderstanding and support, and explains why menopause isn’t just a women’s issue — it’s a workplace issue, a health and safety issue, and one that deserves to be part of mandatory education at work. This episode is about awareness, empathy, learning together — and creating safer, more supportive workplaces for everyone. Let’s get into it.

The Cost of Coping: Mental Health in the Shadows
2025/07/28
Hi, I’m Lisa Lounsbury, your Resilence and Well-being expert and you’re listening to another episode of Your Wellness. Today, I’m speaking with Celina Mantler, who opens up about her personal journey with mental illness — and the unique challenge of feeling “not sick enough” to access the care she truly needed. As a high-functioning professional, Celina has faced countless roadblocks when reaching out for support. Her story began as a child when she experienced her first panic attack, developing coping skills along the way, yet always struggling to find the right help to feel like her true self — free from the fear of the next episode. This conversation is a reminder that mental health isn’t always visible, and struggling in silence shouldn’t be the norm. If you’ve ever questioned whether your feelings “qualify” for support, this episode will encourage you to reach out, speak up, and know that you deserve care. There’s so much to take away from this honest and powerful discussion on Your Wellness.
