We live in a world where some have more and others have less. Some can paint, sing, multiply, speak, or excel in school! The list goes on and on, as we see everyone has their own abilities and gifts from the Lord. But what the Scripture does make clear is that no matter what someone has, the focus we should have is maximizing it and making the best of it! How do you pray? In the Word, we find that God tells us we don't even know what we should be praying for! Of course, we pray for things we personally want, but as we grow in the Lord, we begin to think of what He wants! Being discouraged is one of the worst things that can happen to us. It causes us to miss out on the blessings of God. Who would want to miss out on all of the good things the Lord has to offer? Sadly, this happens when we become disheartened. All of the words of God suddenly go out of the window. Wise words from the Apostle Paul as he instructs the children of God to walk in the power of God! When we walk in the Spirit of God, our actions are completely different! The things we used to do, we find ourselves not doing anymore. When we used to hate, we now show love. It’s amazing how the Lord steps into a situation, shines a light, and now we can see why He instructed us to live holy.
