Holy Heatwave Batman! The summer is here and Barcelona is staying cool with music, festivals and a practice of patience! On this episode, we talk about: BARTS Festival - June 26 - July 21 This festival features concerts in a unique setting at Poble Espanyol. This year there is Rueben Blades, Belle and Sebastion and that little old band from Texas ZZTop! Tour de France in Barcelona July 4th - 6th For the first time in its 123-year history, the Tour de France will start in Barcelona. Expect major road closures and a great atmosphere! Vijazz Festival - Vilafranca del Penedès July 4th - 6th This year a highlight is Esmerelda Spalding. If good wine and great jazz if your thing, it's worth a venture out of town! Blues Festival Nou barris July 4th - 6th Celebrating 23 years of this festival with great blues artists both local and international. Cool baby! Grec Festival June 26 - July 31st This festival features a wide range of performances including theater, dance, music, and circus acts, with events happening across the city, as well as the iconic Grec Theatre on Montjuic. Pride Barcelona June 26 - July 18th Pride Barcelona 2026 aims to be a demonstration of strength, unity and commitment between the city, its citizens and the entire LGTBIQA+ community. Under the slogan “All realities, one pride”, the campaign is born from the desire to highlight the diversity that makes up our community and July 19th at 18:00 the parade starts from Universitat along Grand Via until Sant Joan and then down to the Arc. Cruïlla Festival July 8-11th This open-air festival features a diverse lineup of artists and offers music alongside art, comedy, and more.
