Chucky speaks with Pat Vaughan about his journey as a musician. Pat grew up in Ohio and is now living and performing in Austin, Texas. He discusses what his first year has been like.  He also shares his excitement about the upcoming South By Southwest Music Festival (SXSW), which will be his first, and Chucky gives him some insights. Finally, Pat touches on the future of his journey as a singer/songwriter.

Another great trip to Mexico, but this time with my dear friend, Kayvan Mashayekh, a.k.a. The Preacher.  After being cooped up for months in Houston taking care of his mother, Kayvan wanted to go to my favorite island off the Yucatan coast, Isla Holbox. This trip I finally did the tour I've been told about since last year... the tour to Cabo Catoche. Wow, it was totally worth the all day excursion!

Welcome to 2021, but it feels like 2020 never ended! At least we are now officially in the 20s.  In this episode Chucky tells the story about his trip to Florida over Christmas holiday, his scare with COVID-19 and the literal sh*tstorm that started off the year.

One of the Mexico's best kept secrets is a remote island located off the northern tip of the Yucatan Peninsula, Isla Holbox (in Mayan, it is pronounced "Hole-bosh"). It takes about three hours to get there from Cancun going into the Mexican jungle to a fishing village and then taking a ferry to the island. This was my fourth time there, and this time I went with my travel partners in crime... Sarah & Jahna!

The trip was not all smooth sailing as Sarah had a little accident and ended up signing for medical care. In the end, the beaches were beautiful, the food was amazing and the company was the best.

In this episode Chucky recites some of his most impressionable childhood stories. These include taking his father's brain surgery film to his elementary school class, getting lost as a Boy Scout and several others. Special guest to help tell the stories is Chucky's sister, Tica.
