It was a collaboration between the 4North Project which is a local non-profit in the DR + MedVenture & Travel Nurse Takeover. We set up pop up clinics & provided non-clinical eye exams for the local people in the Bani. It was an awesome experience & we share all the things in this weeks episode. On this episode we talk about Kim's 36th birthday & our first overnight hiking experience. We hiked 5 miles in the Georgia mountains and stayed at an Inn in the middle of the woods. We snuck in wine and were the naughty kids at camp...sneaking around in our bunk room....drinking alcohol and hiding from Mrs. Gayle. We also talk about the travelers bucket list.. For the past 10 years I've made a city bucket list, everywhere we've taken a contract. We talk about that and how we get to do & experience so much in just 13 weeks.

We have been travelers for 10 years now, which means we move around every couple of months. It's hard to make and maintain relationships when you are constantly living life in motion & all of your friends are spread across the US or the world. Making friends as adults can be tricky, but it's also amazing because we get to choose who we want to bring into our lives and spend time with. As travelers we are constantly growing and evolving because we are constantly put into new environments, meeting new people and learning new things...it's just the nature of the life we signed up for. Because of this, we are constantly peeling back more layers & cultivating new interests, so of course the people we want to spend time will look different then it did when we were working full time, living in our home town. It's also ok to let go of relationships, even childhood friends, or family that is no longer serving you. We talk about all of this in todays episode.
