In September 1963 Noreen Greenley was a vibrant 13-year-old. She was not that interested in boys yet. But Noreen liked hanging out with her friends and loved family time. On the evening of Saturday September 14, 1963, Noreen went bowling at Liberty Bowl on Baseline Road with her best friend, Bonnie Wilkins, and Bonnie’s new boyfriend, Gary Woolner. At 11:35 PM a bus Noreen planned to ride home arrived at its scheduled stop, but Noreen was not there. On September 15, 1988, 80-year-old Thera Dieleman got a ride into town to enjoy a day of shopping in Goderich, Ontario. Afterwards, she was dropped off at home and settled in for a relaxing evening. The next day, a neighbor found Thera dead on the floor. Thera’s killer has yet to be brought to justice. There is currently a $50,000 reward for information leading to the arrest and conviction of the person(s) responsible for the murder of Thera.
