Heirs of the Gospel - Bear, Sow, Do Good
2026/09/11
Kym wrapped up our series in Galatians - Heirs of the Gospel, looking at "Bear, Sow, Do Good", from Galatians 6:1-10, 14-15. Paul ends not with doctrine but with practice: bear one another's burdens, restore gently, sow to the Spirit, do good to all people. The final word of the series is not do more but don't give up. The harvest is not immediate — the gap between sowing and reaping is where most people quit. The closing frame is new creation (6:15): every act of burden-bearing and doing good is a sign of the new age breaking into the present one. That is the dignity of ordinary faithfulness.
Heirs of the Gospel - Walk, Don't Manufacture
2026/09/10
Bec continued our series in Galatians - Heirs of the Gospel, looking at "Walk, Don't Manufacture", from Galatians 5:16-26. The how question. The answer is not a method or discipline programme but a person: the Spirit. The works of the flesh are produced — what the self generates when it is running things. The fruit of the Spirit is grown — what the Spirit produces in a life that stays yielded. This week addresses those who feel caught between old patterns and new direction, and names what keeping in step with the Spirit actually looks like day to day.
Heirs of the Gospel - Free, but free for what?
2026/08/27
Rob continued our series in Galatians - Heirs of the Gospel, looking at "Free, but free for what?". Freedom for Paul is not the absence of obligation but the absence of the wrong obligations. The moment he announces freedom, he points it in a direction: love your neighbour. This names what it actually feels like to be free from religious performance, then turns that freedom outward.
Heirs of the Gospel - You Are Not Who You Were
2026/08/19
Bonnie continued our series in Galatians - Heirs of the Gospel, looking at "You are not who you were". Before Paul tells anyone what to do, he tells them who they are. It reveals what it means to have an identity given rather than earned: heirs, not slaves. The evidence is the Spirit already within, already addressing God as Father. We are not working toward this identity — we are living from it, or failing to.
Heirs of the Gospel - This Was Always The Plan
2026/08/19
Bec continued our series in Galatians - Heirs of the Gospel, looking at "This was always the plan". Paul is exasperated: the Galatians received the Spirit by faith and are now trying to complete by effort what began in grace. He goes back to Abraham to show that the inclusion of all people was never plan B — it was the original promise. Galatians 3:28 then lands its full weight: the categories that determined worth and belonging in the ancient world are not modified in Christ, they are superseded. The effort question and the belonging question are the same question.
Heirs of the Gospel - The moment the Gospel gets practical
2026/08/13
Luke continued our series in Galatians - Heirs of the Gospel, looking at "The moment the Gospel gets practical". Peter at Antioch. He was eating with Gentile believers — crossing one of the ancient world's sharpest ethnic divides — and withdrew when people arrived whose opinion he valued more than the truth he was living. Paul confronts him publicly because this is not personal failure; it is a broken table - the shared table of Jew and Gentile was the gospel made visible, and Peter's withdrawal broke it. Galatians 2:20 lands as the way back: the self that needed approval has been crucified.
Heirs of the Gospel - Where Did You Get That?
2026/08/06
Adam continued our series in Galatians - Heirs of the Gospel, looking at "Where did you get that?". Paul's gospel came by encounter/revelation, not inheritance or human tradition. God interrupted a life completely sure of itself and Paul's response was to fall down and ask what to do next. Has your faith has been personally encountered or merely inherited? We don't need to try to maintain a spiritual experience rather, continue to receive.
Heirs of the Gospel - There is No other Gospel
2026/07/31
Kym kicked off our new series Heirs of the Gospel, looking at the book of Galatians - "There is No Other Gospel." Paul opens without pleasantries because the emergency is real. The Galatians have encountered God, received the Spirit, and are turning back to something safer and emptier. What have we added to grace today — performance, approval, moralism. The Gospel is complete. It is not a starting point to build on but the whole structure.

A Life Laid Down
2026/07/02
Rob finished off our Absolute Surrender series, sharing on A Life Laid Down as he shared from Acts 3:1-10. Admitting our weaknesses, our doubts, our disappointments but surrendering them to Jesus frees us to live full lives, and to carry the Kingdom of God with power.
Surrendering our Treasures
2026/06/25
Bonnie continued our Absolute Surrender series, looking at Surrendering our Treasures. Surrender reaches into the areas we hold most tightly—our time, money, and priorities. These often reveal where our trust truly lies. God invites us to live open-handed, not to take from us, but to free us. As we learn to trust Him with what we value most, generosity becomes a reflection of a surrendered heart.
Surrender in Community
2026/06/10
Kym continued our Absolute Surrenders series, looking at Surrender in Community. Surrender is deeply personal, but never meant to be lived alone. God uses community to reveal blind spots, bring healing, and form humility in us. As we choose vulnerability and honesty, surrender becomes something we embody together. When we allow others to walk with us, what was hidden comes into the light—and transformation begins to take place.
Ongoing Practice of Surrender - Repentance
2026/06/04
Rob continued our Absolute Surrender looking at the Ongoing Practice of Surrender - Repentance. Surrender is not a one-time decision—it’s a daily posture. Repentance is not about shame, but as a life-giving response to the nearness of God's Kingdom.
