When Letting Go Becomes the Way Forward: Life Update & Announcement
2026/01/13
There are seasons when God asks us to lay everything down — not because it’s over, but because it’s not ours to control. In this episode, Allee shares the full, unfiltered story of what happened after she laid her business down in obedience… and then heard God tell her to keep Charm Atelier. What followed was not the fairytale version of faith. It included unexpected legal battles, the loss of a business partner, deep refinement, and a season that looked nothing like the dream she once imagined. Then came a plot twist. Just when life felt settled, God opened the door again — this time with clarity, peace, and perfect timing. Today, Allee announces a HUGE business accomplishment. This episode is for anyone who’s walking through surrender, uncertainty, or obedience without answers — and needs the reminder that what you place in God’s hands is never forgotten.

In this heartfelt conversation, Allee Cyrus and her father, Scott, explore the profound themes of fatherhood, love, motivation, and personal growth. They reflect on their close family bond, the lessons learned through life experiences, and the importance of instilling character and identity in children. Scott shares insights from his military background, emphasizing the personal costs of war and the motivation needed in everyday life. The discussion highlights the significance of treating children with respect, the value of independence, and the continuous journey of self-improvement.   Takeaways:  Fatherhood teaches the importance of obligations beyond oneself. Love expands and deepens with the experience of parenthood. Motivation can be reframed as a personal battle against complacency. War experiences provide a unique perspective on life and community. Instilling character in children requires treating them with respect. Every day presents a new opportunity for learning and growth. The process of achieving goals is as important as the goals themselves. Staying grounded in fundamentals helps navigate life's changes. Celebrating small victories is crucial for personal development. The relationship between parent and child is a two-way street of learning.
The Anti-Girlboss Invitation: Stop Missing the Point of Life
2025/04/15
In this episode, Allee Cyrus discusses the transition from the 'Girlboss' era to the 'Anti-Girlboss' movement, emphasizing the importance of balance, faith, and personal well-being over relentless ambition and hustle culture. She shares her personal journey of success, burnout, and rediscovery of her identity, inviting listeners to embrace a new approach to ambition that prioritizes health, relationships, and spiritual alignment.   TAKEAWAYS: This episode is for the ambitious woman who feels torn between success and well-being. The Girlboss movement often led to unhealthy pressure and burnout. Success can come at a cost to personal relationships and mental health. Rediscovering faith can be a turning point in one's life. Ambition should not define one's identity; it should serve a greater purpose. The Anti-Girlboss movement encourages a balance between ambition and personal well-being. Generosity and community are essential in building a fulfilling life. It's important to prioritize what truly matters in life, including family and faith. Women can achieve success without sacrificing their health and happiness. The journey of self-discovery is ongoing and requires intentionality.

I am stepping away from my agency to follow God's invitation. I want to share my journey to help others avoid my mistakes. I realized I was building success but not obedience. I want to coach women to build businesses with Jesus, not just for Him. There is a growing movement of generosity and faith around us. I have witnessed incredible acts of giving in my community. This season is about choosing eternal impact over earthly applause. I invite you to examine where God may be inviting you to take a holy risk. I am excited for the new opportunities and connections ahead.
Recession 101 & What To Do: Why Believers in Business Should Be Excited in This Economy
2025/04/09
In this episode, Allee Cyrus discusses why business owners should feel optimistic about the current economic climate despite prevalent fears of recession. She emphasizes the importance of faith in navigating economic challenges and highlights the opportunities that arise during uncertain times. Allee encourages entrepreneurs to remain nimble, authentic, and proactive in their strategies, while also trusting in God's guidance. The conversation covers various economic indicators, the role of media in shaping perceptions, and practical steps for business resilience.   TAKEAWAYS: Business owners should embrace the current economic changes. There is significant opportunity for believers in business. Trust in God rather than the stock market for confidence. The media often thrives on fear, which can distort perceptions. Nimble and faith-led entrepreneurs can find success in uncertainty. Historical downturns have led to the birth of successful companies. Authenticity and values attract customers, especially Gen Z. Taking bold actions and seeking divine guidance is crucial. Staying lean and avoiding unnecessary overhead is essential. Sharing your story and struggles can build community support. SOUNDBITE:  "Your confidence is not in the S&P, it's in God." "The media thrives on fear." "Dips happen before breakthrough." "Be bold and brave, ask God what to do." "Stay lean and faithful in your business." "Do not panic, pivot, and listen to God."
Walking WELL: How 50 Miles, Prayer, and Obedience Changed Everything
2025/04/07
In this episode of the Right Up Your Alley podcast, Allee Cyrus shares her transformative experience of participating in a 50-mile walk, reflecting on the lessons learned about faith, fear, and the importance of walking well with God. Through personal anecdotes and scriptural insights, she emphasizes the significance of community, prayer, and understanding one's identity as a daughter of God. Allee encourages listeners to embrace invitations from God, trust His plan, and find peace in the process of life, rather than merely focusing on achievements. - Takeaways: Time is our most limited resource. Walking 50 miles is probably the hardest thing I've ever done. How often do I let fear steal what God is asking me to do? Slowing down is not quitting; it's obedience in a different way. Walking well is not just something to do on your checklist. Living by faith and not fear brings true freedom. I realized that I was kind of being like God's golden retriever. Where the story may be ending, you may actually be stepping into the start. Every invitation I accepted from the Lord grounded me more. The distance and the pace are supplied by God.

Eliminate Stress with Time Management
2022/08/09
On today's solo episode, Allee takes you through "The Big 3" time management process that she uses daily/weekly to eliminate stress! She created a planner called The Daily Direction based off of this concept because it was SO life changing for her and many of her mentees.  She discusses in this episode:  - Finding your work tendencies - How women often take on stress in business - How to find a rhythm of productivity  - The big three questions to ask yourself when managing your time - THE BIG 3:  1. Define an achievable list of objectives for you to get done this week. Then put this list somewhere in plain sight for you to reference!!   2. Time block. Time is your greatest asset when it comes to creativity, productivity, and feeling good about your work / life balance. Create adequate space for you to work on each of the objectives you defined.   3. Check in with yourself as you’re getting it all done. Are you expectations plausible? Do you have what you need to get what you need done? The conversations you have with yourself throughout the week create the foundation of belief you and your business will operate out of for years to come. Pay attention to what is possible, what your expectations are, and how you can make business work for you and with you. Learn more at rightupyourallee.com!
