Comics 101 hits the Avengers, and this one pulls double duty: it’s both our Avengers installment and the launch of a brand-new series, as Robby finally introduces Kyle to the epic insanity of Jonathan Hickman’s Avengers. If you want a look at the modern Avengers, it doesn’t get better than this (or look better, courtesy of Jerome Opeña and Steve Epting, among others). Between Cap and Tony on the one hand and Reed Richards and Namor on the other, fans of both the Infinity and Multiverse Sagas will find plenty to love in these 11 issues. And with Doomsday right around the corner, you’re here at the perfect time. Come for one of the best Avengers comics of the last few decades. Stay for the journey to one of the best Marvel events of all time. Covering Avengers by Jonathan Hickman: The Complete Collection, Volume One — Avengers (2012) #1–5 and New Avengers (2013) #1–6

Kyle here. As I have been going back through the entire MCU Multiverse Saga, I've been jotting down my thoughts and hot takes on a project by project basis. Some of these projects have aged well while others have had my view of them decrease over the years. No matter where you stand on the Multiverse Saga as a whole, today's episode is a really fun look back at what has worked and what hasn't since 2019. This turned out to be a really great discussion. Let us know your thoughts and hottest takes in the comments below or on Discord! See you soon.
