Welcome to The Vanishing Point. Tonight, we descend beneath the surface of Seoul, South Korea, into the shadows of Luka. No polished edges. No commercial distractions. Just pressure, movement, and the pulse of the underground. From deep hypnotic grooves to relentless techno rhythms and flashes of raw trance energy, Kaeno takes control of the room and pushes the night deeper into unfamiliar territory. This is music built for dark rooms, late hours, and those moments when the outside world disappears completely. No boundaries. No escape. Just sound, atmosphere, and the crowd moving as one. From Luka in Seoul, South Korea... This is Kaeno — live on The Vanishing Point.

Joining us on The Vanishing Point for an exclusive guest mix is Asheville’s Vitamin D. Blending hypnotic grooves, driving basslines, and atmospheric melodies, he brings a deep, raw approach to underground trance. Through his CYBERIA event series, he’s helping grow Western North Carolina’s trance community—and now he’s bringing that passion to our airwaves. Turn it up, settle in, and welcome Vitamin D.

Over the years, I’ve been fortunate enough to open for some of the most influential artists in electronic music, including Tiësto, Avicii, Armin van Buuren, John Digweed, Sasha, Above & Beyond, and many more. Not one of those opportunities has ever been taken for granted. Opening the night has never been about showcasing only my own productions or proving what I can do as a DJ and artist. It is about serving the music, respecting the headliner, and creating the right environment for the journey ahead. My job is to read the room, establish the groove, and gradually build the energy through subtle peaks and transitions. By the time the headliner takes the stage, the room should be connected, fully present, and ready to lose its mind. People sometimes ask, “Why aren’t you the headliner?” For me, it has never been only about being the name at the top of the flyer. It is about all of us. It is about the music, the artists who have worked incredibly hard to reach that stage, and the people on the dance floor who trust us to take them somewhere. Opening for Above & Beyond has always carried a special meaning. The Anjuna Family represents so much of the foundation that dance music was built upon: peace, love, unity, respect, and a genuine appreciation for the music. Let’s also be honest, you know your music. You hear every transition, understand every detail, and recognize every element that shapes the Anjuna sound. Performing not only for Above & Beyond, but for all of you, is a privilege in itself. That was my responsibility on July 31, 2026, at Big Night Live in Boston. From the very first track to the final crescendo, you stayed with me. I could feel your energy, understand where you wanted to go, and build the set around that connection. For me, that was the perfect night. The hugs, kind words, and embraces I received after the set reminded me once again of the incredible power of music. Thank you for trusting me to help begin the journey. I truly cannot express how much that night meant to me. A heartfelt thank-you to my entire team and to the friends who have become family. Ichiro and Aaron, thank you for always capturing the true essence of my shows. Becky and Brenda (The Hansen Sisters), Amy and Beth, Nadine and Roooob, Brett, Christina, Alex, Wes, Miss Dede, Peter, Maggie, Caddy Chris, Erin and Taylor, Mike Woods, Victor, Buddy Costa, Tim Bonito, the legend Marky P, and the entire Anjuna Family… Thank you for the love, the energy, and the memories. 1. Kaeno pres. DE:ON - DE:C:ON.STRUCTED, Live As…Insomnia | Fort Worth, Texas Recorded live in Fort Worth, Texas, DE:C.ON.STRUCTED is more than a DJ set - it's a live reconstruction of sound. Utilizing Traktor's live remix capabilities, stems are deconstructed, manipulated, and rebuilt in real time to create unique remixes, mashups, and evolving soundscapes that exist only in the moment. Blending raw, hypnotic groove-driven techno with cinematic elements of trance, the set pushes beyond traditional DJ performance into a fully immersive live experience. Hikari Nova is the artistic alias of Brandon Hikaru Sugano, a multi-genre electronic music producer and DJ whose identity is rooted in culture, technology, and sound. His Japanese and Chinese names share the kanji 光 (light), a symbol that defines his approach to music, bridging emotion, precision, and forward motion. Raised alongside the early digital underground, Hikari Nova discovered electronic music during the Napster era, immersing himself in Essential Mixes, Global Underground, and Tranceport compilations. What began as an obsession became an education, shaping a deep understanding of arrangement, energy, and long-form storytelling across Trance, Techno, and Progressive music. Influenced by pioneers such as Tiësto, Paul Oakenfold, Sasha & Digweed, and Dubfire, Hikari Nova developed a sound that moves fluidly across the 4/4 spectrum, balancing melodic depth with driving, hypnotic power. His background in coding and digital design informs a technically refined, future-facing production style. As a DJ, Hikari Nova has performed internationally, with appearances in Los Angeles, Tokyo, and Black Rock City (Burning Man). Focused on evolution rather than trends, he continues to refine his sonic language, creating immersive, emotional experiences designed for both the dancefloor and the mind. 1. Warmup Set for Armin van Buuren, Big Night Live, Boston | March 20, 2026 Exactly one month to date. Opening for Armin van Buuren at Big Night Live was more than a warm-up set; it was a journey. With only four hours of club time in Boston, reading the room, feeling the energy, and guiding the audience where they want to go are essential to building the night properly. From deep progressive to peak-time melodic techno and trance, and a few classics, Boston, you were ready for all of it. This set weaves together melodic, progressive, underground techno, and timeless trance, featuring music and remixes from John Digweed, Nick Warren, Paul Thomas, Above & Beyond, Layton Giordani, Adam Beyer, Aly & Fila, and Bryan Kearney. Highlights include Gridlock, Athena, Enjoy the Silence, Flight 643 (Hel:sløwed Remix), Your Mind, Somebody Loves You, and to close out the night, On A Good Day. There are defining moments in this mix that shape the story: the tension of Zen Garden, the darkness of At Night, the unexpected remix of Smack My Bitch Up as some chanted (TAKE MY PICTURE), the classic mashup of The Perspective Space by Markus Schulz, and my own Call My Name with Hiwater and Olya Gram woven into the mix. This set was about respecting the warm-up, building atmosphere, tension, and setting the stage the right way before Armin took over. 1. John Digweed - Gridlock (Digweed & Muir's Stereo Club Mix) 2.
