On this episode Robbbie Robertson of the Legendary group "The Band"  (Levon Helm, Rick Danko, Richard Manuel, Garth Hudson and Robbie Robertson)  This Year (2019) marks the 50th anniversary of the Band's (self titled) second album and has been re-released as a special set featuring:  the remixed album, outtakes, surround mixes and the group's never-released set from the Woodstock festival. This beautifully produced set is available on a series of CDs, Blu-rays and vinyl.   Robbie Robertson is also back with his first solo album in 8 yrs called “Sinematic". that features Van Morrison, Derek Trucks, Doye Bramhall II and Glen Hansard. The album took 8 yrs to make  because he’s been busy writing books, working with director Martin Scorsese on a variety of movies, including the "IRISHMAN" and he was involved with the documentary (Once were brothers) which is about his legendary group the Band.  Robbie Robertson on hidden traxx. Bryan Adams (who just turned 60 on November 5th) has been making music since his early teens.  Moving to Vancouver BC,  via Kingston, South Korea, Japan, Israel and Ottawa, with family in 1974, he joined his first  band  as lead singer for Sweeny Todd).  Then along came Jim Vallance who became his close friend and song writing partner for many years and many albums and the rest (as they say) is history.  He's one of the most prolific singer/songwriters in the world having sold approximately 75 million records to date.  His 14th studio album "Shine a Light" was released in May of 2019 and he's been on tour supporting it all over the world since March.   (oh yeah,  I forgot to mention he’s also a photographer, producer, philanthropist, activist, juno and grammy award winner, a member of the Order of Canada and British Columbia, was inducted into the  the Canadian broadcast hall of fame, The Canadian Walk of Fame and the Canadian Music Hall of Fame and a fascinating guy to talk to.  Enjoy Bryan Adams on Hidden Traxx.

ROGER WATERS: Singer/songwriter/activist/co-founder of the legendary Pink Floyd and creator/visionary of some of the most incredible concert tours of the last 2 decades. Dark Side of the Moon, The 3 year Wall tour, and most recently the Us & Them tour from 2017-18. That tour is documented in the breathtaking concert film US & THEM that just premiered around the world. Shot in Amsterdam and co-directed with Roger's long time videographer Sean Evans, who also did the Wall Movie.  That's where my conversation began , with Roger Waters on the Wall.  Enjoy!
