It's the Phantom -- ie The Ghost Who Walks -- but this time he's in an extremely 90s cyberpunk future dystopia made by the Aeon Flux guy. It's actually pretty good! Also, we discuss the concept of elfpunk.

In the early aughts, Animation Magazine ran an annual feature called the Pitch Party -- a contest where eager readers could spend $300 to submit a postage-stamp sized jpg pitching their dream cartoon in the hopes that some animation executive might see some potential in their idea and make all their Hollywood dreams come true. How many cartoons were created through the Pitch Party? A whopping zero! But we look at the 2004 entries and rate them according to our own esoteric criteria. MacGuyver? No! The Guyver!

Half of the team from "Over the Hedge" made this comic strip about a family dealing with the stresses of modern life and it got made into the most mid-00s sitcom ever. From Canada. We finally found a sitcom husband worse than Irving!

There's no stars left in the sky, cuz they're all here at the 1983 First Annual Yummy Awards -- as NBC shows us their new Saturday line-up, in a show with Howling Mad Murdock, Mr. T, the kid from Silver Spoons, Gumby, Foobie the robot, and Kukla, Fran, and Ollie!

Hey, I found a shoe, that's weird. But what's important is, we're taking a trip back to the 90s and Waldomania to take a look at the saturday morning Where's Waldo cartoon! Or "Where's Wally" as it's allegedly called in its native Britain. So don't 'wally', FattyAtomicMutant and Ethan will find Mike by next week!

Eric IS Bananaman! And you can too! Listen, that is, as Ethan and Tom from Flash In The Pan extol the virtues of potassium and being nutty.

Mike forces Ethan to watch Animalympics cuz it's Mike's birthday and he likes the Noah's Ark disco bit

We really hate this show.

More tiger sharks!!!

Finally!!! it's the tiger sharks!!!

We're zeroing in on the Tiger Sharks, the true reason for the existence of The Comic Strip, but first, yea, we must pass through the valley of the shadow of Karate Kat. Could Karate Kat actually be the worst segment of the Comic Strip? With Mini Monsters and Street Frogs, it's got some stiff competition. Also, he's lean, he's mean, a karate machine!
