Date: August 30, 2026 Scripture: Ephesians 1:1-3 Preaching: David Henderson Series: Anchored in God's Loving Purposes

This summer our denomination, the Evangelical Presbyterian Church (EPC), wrestled with the challenging issue of same sex attraction - does God always remove sinful desires when a person comes to Christ? - and voted on the sensitive issue of whether or not a person who struggles with same-sex attraction without acting on it could be considered for ordination. Headlines coming out of the General Assembly implied that the EPC has compromised the biblical position on homosexuality, paving the way for ordaining homosexuals.Pastor David Henderson was at General Assembly and says, “Not true!” In this bonus episode, Communication Director Michelle Leichty and David discuss his time at General Assembly, what the EPC actually voted on, and where to go with your questions. Recorded on Wednesday, August 26, 2026, at Covenant.

Guest speaker David Iles share thoughts on How to Finish the Race With Joy, based on Acts 20:24-25. Recorded on Tuesday, August 4, at Covenant Church.
