In the most recent couple of years, an obvious decline in success with one of the worst records over that span of time in the entire league. With many speculations as to why this decline occurred from no Tom Brady to Bill being too old school, I raise the question, "Was Bill doing his job well?". Let's answer that from a business perspective. Really, let's answer how you or anyone knows if they are doing their job well.Let's break down what it even means to do your job well. I will tie in another every day job role,  fast food worker.Success for a fast food worker: Being efficient in the throughput of offerings to the customer.Success for a football coach: Efficiency in building a championship caliber team to ultimately win the championship. Keys characteristics: quality, consistency, and efficiency As organisations grow/shrink, landscapes shift and technology changes, how does this impact the characteristics above?  Note that even some of the most successful leaders step down from or hand off  their roles when these variables occur because their expertise may be limiting the organization.
