Your Birthday Is a LIE! 🎂🤯
2026/10/19
Send us Fan Mail
The coffee cup universe is still alive and it's trying to talk to us now. This week on When Boredom Strikes, we start with the iPhone 18 review nobody asked for, the "going raw" no-case debate, and a phone from 2012 that refuses to die. Then it turns into a full T-Mobile rant: a 5G home internet that couldn't handle FIFA, a returned box that STILL got charged, and a Verizon guy who kept throwing in deals until we got $400 in gift cards and two free months. Too good to be true? We do the math (badly).
We also figure out that everybody is secretly 9 months older than their birthday, argue about whether babies poop in the womb, roast someone who has never worn shorts, react to AI cracking Adobe and PS5 games, hackers getting cops called on them over Call of Duty, and the new Call of Duty trailer going after North Korea. Then we break down Ben Affleck's new Netflix movie (SPOILERS) and wonder how rich people actually find their nannies.

Ronaldo RAGE QUITS !!
2026/10/11
Send us Fan Mail
Welcome back to When Boredom Strikes! This week one of the boys thinks he’s a scientifically perfect specimen because nothing ever happens to him. No COVID, no allergies, and a shoulder surgery recovery so fast his doctor was supposedly shocked. Then things go off the rails. We get into whether you’re only truly free when you’re dead, what happens if the afterlife is just the TV turning off, and the theory that life works like a Call of Duty respawn where you need coins to continue.
Then comes the potato fly saga. A forgotten sack of potatoes turned into a full fruit fly situation, there’s a TikTok apple cider vinegar trap, and someone gets offered $1,000 to drink coffee that has basically become its own ecosystem. We also cover Amazon Prime Day deals, the bubonic plague in Russia, NBA 2K25 shutting down its servers, reincarnation, and whether turtles look at humans the way we look at flies.
On the sports side, the guys go off about Ronaldo getting benched against Norway and walking out on Portugal, Messi’s farewell drone show opening with an ad, and the Kai Cenat vs. IShowSpeed mix-up. To close it out, we debate boiled eggs for dinner, why nobody makes one giant pancake, and whether the three of us should split a $2,000 cow.

Why Magicians Fell Off 🎩 | When Boredom Strikes #287
2026/10/04
Send us Fan Mail
No guests this week, just the crew, and somehow every topic ends with "look it up." We start with one of us being dangerously addicted to the new FIFA, then fall down a wrestling rabbit hole about Lio Rush's wild new character, and find out how tall Omos really is (7'3", by the way). From there it's a debate on whether people should be judged after doing their time, why magicians like Criss Angel and David Blaine aren't superstars anymore, and who that guy from Charlie and the Chocolate Factory is (it's Deep Roy).
Then we dig into the Weird NJ legend of a little people town in Totowa, get real about AI taking jobs at places like Walmart and Burger King, argue about dog years, explain IRL streaming to the one guy who doesn't get it, and remember Ratatouille. Plus: a rat got run over in a driveway, a headless deer, spotted lanternflies vs. a car window, a modern day Robin Hood idea, why working a 9 to 5 is basically caveman hunting, and the bold claim that 10,000 BC had better CGI than the Avengers. Drop your rating for 10,000 BC in the comments 👇

We Need to Talk About Chris Hansen w. Tim Rager
2026/09/27
Send us Fan Mail
This week on When Boredom Strikes, the fellas are back and it starts with the biggest debate yet: how many showers a day is too many? Craig's done for the night once he showers (so no dishes), someone's showering up to three times a day, and the washcloth vs bar soap war gets personal. Then we break down watching the new Resident Evil movie in Dolby on two edibles, talk about the Chris Hansen movie coming out, and argue about whether catching predators is heroic or just weird.
Then NJ comedian Tim pulls up and things go off the rails. He opens up about getting 12+ years sober and finding comedy, explains how 9/11 took down his antenna TV and got his family cable, and swears Matt Rife caused Covid. We get into AI using all the water, a woman who woke up with a completely new accent, a robot roundhouse-kicking a kid, the secret treaty between humans and killer whales, the weirdest stuff in our algorithms, why lefties write backwards, Batman working at The Office, whether Wolverine is problematic, that Jews.com billboard, loofahs being "a little homo erectus," and a farm trip that ended with fresh goat's milk. Stand-up comedy, pop culture, conspiracy theories, and zero filter. Don't miss it.
🎟️ Catch Tim live: upstate New York the first weekend of October with Danny Braff, and headlining Uncle Vinny's Comedy Club in Point Pleasant, NJ the second week of November.

Is AI About to Go Rogue? 🤖😳 w. Joe Polizzotti
2026/09/20
Send us Fan Mail
We tried to talk about 9/11 turning 25 and somehow ended up debating whether the first caveman gatekept fire, why China is apparently living in the year 4723, and whether AI is about to go full rebellious teenager on humanity 🤖😳 The boys break down the AI whistleblower news, the AGI race between ChatGPT, Grok and Claude, tech billionaires moving to Argentina, and whether the US vs China AI race is basically Oppenheimer all over again.
Then comedian Joe Polizzotti pulls up and it goes off the rails. Joe tells us about working kids' birthday parties as Batman, Spider-Man, Bluey and Paw Patrol, getting sent to a party dressed as a Knicks player (the parents complained immediately 💀), why he quit drinking, the night he stole a butter knife in NYC, and the "big tip" that wasn't. Plus: someone at this table had chicken and waffles for the first time at 33, nobody can describe Indian food, the Sopranos accent debate, whether it's weird to have yourself as your phone background, and an intense round of boy math on MILF vs cougar. We wrap with Charlie Kirk day, 9/11 conspiracy TikToks, and why our generation grew up in two completely different worlds.

The Lindsay Clancy Situation!
2026/09/13
Send us Fan Mail
Ep. 284 goes completely off the rails and we're not even sorry. We start with a handshake rule nobody asked for, somehow end up debating what the world would look like if Hitler won the war, and then spend a full ten minutes arguing that the Strait of Hormuz sounds like a dessert you'd order at a fancy restaurant. From there it's a full dessert tier list — is crème brûlée upper middle class? Is lava cake for the peasants? — plus hibachi etiquette, the Chipotle protein cheat code that made one of our kids question his whole life, and a heated debate about who's actually allowed to own a Panda Express.
Then things get heavy. We break down the Lindsay Clancy mistrial, the $1.2 million GoFundMe, the crowd outside the courtroom, and the one juror who wouldn't budge. We look up what postpartum depression actually is, run the numbers on how many mothers vs fathers kill their kids every year, and the stat completely flips what everybody assumes. We also debate whether every murderer is secretly a time traveler taking out baby Hitler.
We close with the new Elizabeth Holmes documentary trailer and it might be the scariest footage of the year — the Theranos collapse, the $9 billion valuation, the 11-year sentence, and the insane detail that her husband just raised millions for ANOTHER blood testing startup. Then we end on the most loaded question a parent can ask their kid: "are you proud of me?"

$40 To Make Your OWN Coffee?! ☕
2026/09/06
Send us Fan Mail
Somebody walked in with homemade deconstructed lattes and the whole episode went off the rails from there. We rate the coffee, argue about microplastics, name his future coffee company (Grounded, with a tree instead of the E), and then find out people are actually paying $30-$40 at coffee shops to build their OWN latte at the table. That's it. That's the business. You pay them, then you do the labor. Somehow it's still cheaper than Korean BBQ.
We also get into the Twitch kid whose mom beat him on stream over 10,000 viewers, how that clip sent him viral, and how he pulled around $100K in three days after getting kicked out on his 18th birthday. Real card. Real "happy birthday, now leave." Then the big one — the Water Store vs The Container Store. One of us buys 25 gallons of water for $14 and the other one refuses to believe the Water Store exists. Meanwhile there's a whole store that only sells containers. Containers for containers. We're not okay.
Plus: fantasy football champs of the "sub league," pickleball slander, the Twin Towers inside joke that turned into an inside job, ADHD accusations over an electric scooter, picnic dates and paint kits, why double dates are structurally cursed, 76-80% of Nvidia employees being millionaires off RSUs, the college cocaine ring guy who looks like McLovin, Elon's spaceport, the new Mac mini, and a grown man losing a war with the word "unveils."

Why Ellen DeGeneres Fled The Country! EXPOSED!
2026/08/30
Send us Fan Mail
This one got away from us fast. What started as a fight over a Barcelona jersey turned into the deepest rabbit hole we've ever gone down on this show 👀 Craig comes in loaded with conspiracy theories and doesn't let up. We watch THE video — the one with the car in the house, the firefighters, and the body bag — and try to figure out what we're actually looking at. Allegedly. We're just asking questions. We also get into why Ellen DeGeneres left the country, whether the timeline lines up, and how a Christopher Nolan tangent somehow fit in there too. Then it's GTA 6. The leaker has the whole game — the plot, the footage, the map, all of it — and Rockstar can't stop him. We talk about whether November is actually happening, the record-breaking pre-sales, and the bigger problem nobody wants to admit: you don't actually own anything you buy digitally anymore. Ask the guy who lost his entire Lord of the Rings collection. And don't get us started on $150 for a video game with a $50 icon player. Also in this one: Premier League mornings and getting blacked out by noon in a Hoboken soccer pub, Pep's speech, dynasty fantasy leagues, whether satellites are real (they are, we looked it up, he still doesn't believe it), a Chinese robot that ran a 9.32 second 100m and beat Usain Bolt, Temu sending us sponsorship emails while selling actual tractors, a couch that arrived in four boxes, and 20 straight minutes of trying to name a coffee shop. "Compound" was right there the whole time.

A Conversation With ChatGpt w/ Caleb "Papi" Cortijo
2026/08/23

We're back — and yeah, we know we missed a week. Our audio has been fighting for its life, so if you're an audio engineer... please hit us up. We're paying in peanuts (that we don't own yet).
This week we got PAPI in the building 🔥 We get into his tattoo situation, the espresso setup that turned one of us into a full-blown coffee scientist, why becoming a Man City fan was the worst decision of the year, the leaked Avengers: Doomsday plot, and the moment ChatGPT started talking to us in a voice that should NOT be reading books to children 😭
Also: why TVs got so cheap, the lifetime warranty scams nobody talks about, the hidden arrow in the FedEx logo, and a Yankees game photo shoot that went completely sideways.

Please Keep Lying To Us 🤫
2026/08/09
Send us Fan Mail
We showed up at 8am. We started recording at 12. Yeah… it was one of THOSE days. 😩
Our audio completely fell apart, so naturally we did what any modern idiot would do — we asked AI. ChatGPT said buy a $1,000 hard drive. Grok said buy a $1,000 hard drive. Craig was ready to swipe. Meanwhile Doctor P is standing there like "bro, it is NOT the hard drive." Spoiler: it was never the hard drive. 🤖💀
So this episode turns into a full trial of artificial intelligence — can AI be manipulated, why are we all fine with being lied to, and is ignorance actually bliss? Then things go completely sideways: somebody in Tel Aviv tried to log into an Apple account, TMZ is somehow the #1 source for UFO news, and the man who "beat AI" locked himself out of his own apartment. 🔑😂
Then the SpongeBob rabbit hole. What meat is in a Krabby Patty? Is Bikini Bottom running on cannibalism? Did Mr. Krabs murder every other crab in town? Why does Patrick have no brain? And the theory that broke everybody's brain — humans aren't land animals, we're AIR ANIMALS. 🌬️🧠
Short episode, long day, zero regrets. Enjoy the chaos.

Somebody get these beggars out of here!! 😭 This week on When Boredom Strikes, the boys rate a margarita pizza flop, get into a HEATED debate over whether The Odyssey is Christopher Nolan's first flop (the AI said what?!), and find out IMAX literally LOST the blueprints to their 70mm film projectors 🤯
We also break down Avengers Doomsday tickets already selling out, Dune's secret connection to The Odyssey, Tom Holland's 0% beer, Zendaya's real name reveal, Gen Z bringing back movie theaters AND digital cameras, our clip hitting 2.9 MILLION views, Zeus's Law getting broken at a Dunkin drive-thru, and why "democracy is an act of violence" might be the wildest take we've ever ended on 💀

The boys are BACK for When Boredom Strikes. FIFA is giving World Cup winners SUPER BOWL-style championship rings (Messi with ice?!), daylight savings time is officially DEAD and it was literally causing heart attacks, and TikTok somehow knows you're scrolling on mute… 👀
Then things go OFF the rails: Edward Norton is a real-life descendant of Pocahontas, couch shopping turns into a $5,000 scam investigation (never buy used… you'll hear why 😭), all conspiracy theories are apparently true, the Wright brothers sold the AIRPLANE for only $30K, and an AI robot just sorted 250,000 packages with no breaks — are 1.8 million jobs cooked? 🤖
Plus special guest comedian Michael Philibosian shares his wildest open mic stories: the mayo guy who got BANNED, and doing stand-up in the middle of a stranger's wedding rehearsal dinner. 💀

t's 100 degrees in Jersey and the Tesla is at 3% — welcome to the most stressful episode of When Boredom Strikes yet! 🔋😭 The boys break down USA's World Cup 2026 run and the upcoming USA vs Belgium showdown, argue about whether Argentina has ever had a black player, and debate if putting the American flag on a soccer ball is un-American. Then things go off the rails: the great Facebook Marketplace couch hunt (would YOU buy a couch from Chelsea?), Mamdani telling New Yorkers to set their AC to 78, smart home flexes, the viral babysitter-asleep-on-the-couch video, and how one barber ended up on live TV hugging a Moroccan World Cup player's mom in Mexico. Plus the deep dive nobody asked for: Michael Jackson's terrifying quotes, the 440Hz vs 432Hz music frequency conspiracy, and whether the government really controls the music we listen to. It all ends with childhood discipline stories — belts, chanclas, and TV cables — that turn into an accidental therapy session. 😂
