Buatsi Parker - a bad night at the office all round...and why!
2025/11/03
The Queensberry show in Manchester provided some great fights but the main event was atrocious - and perhaps someone should have seen this coming. Zach Parker and his team put together an effective game plan, so good that both Joshua Buatsi and Michael Alexander seemed unable to get their respective jobs done. Comparisons to similarly awful fights in recent times, a look at the undercard upon which Lyndon Arthur and Troy Jones shone particularly bright and a look at Manchester's brightest young prospect as he once again took care of business in impressive fashion, this time in the US as he made his debut Stateside.
Josh Taylor - one of our BEST EVER but now following Leigh Wood towards the exit?
2025/05/29
Josh Taylor's defeat to Ekow Essuman in front of the Scottish fans may well be the last we see of him...but who gets to make that decision? If he does bow out he'll go down as one of our best ever, and he may well follow fans' favourite Leigh Wood who looks perhaps even more likely to retire. Whatever happens, the two men have been phenomenal fighters to watch.
