Strong Women Aren’t Mean
2026/10/30
Mean girls do not always grow out of it.
Sometimes they become mean women.
And sometimes the person we are hardest on is ourselves.
In this episode, we’re talking about the difference between honesty and meanness, why real confidence does not require tearing other people down, and how kindness can actually be a sign of strength.
We’ll talk about social media, retaliation, self-talk, boundaries, and the temptation to say something cruel simply because we are hurt or angry.
You can be honest without being harsh.
You can defend yourself without humiliating someone else.
You can set boundaries without becoming hostile.
And you can correct yourself without becoming your own worst critic.
Kindness does not make you weak. It takes confidence to stay grounded when you could lash out.
If heartbreak has left you angry, ashamed, rejected, or stuck in painful thoughts about yourself, my free ABC’s of Healing training can help you begin working through that hurt and moving forward with greater peace.

Don’t Trade Your Security for a Relationship
2026/10/23
When I was 30, I made one of the biggest mistakes of my life: I quit my job and prepared to move across the country for a man who changed his mind before I ever got there.
I ended up with no relationship, no job, and all of my belongings packed in boxes.
That experience taught me a lesson I have never forgotten: love should never require you to abandon wisdom.
In this episode, we’re talking about why protecting your career, income, and financial stability matters—especially when a relationship is still new or uncertain.
We’ll talk about the difference between healthy partnership and control, why trust should match the level of risk, and why financial knowledge gives you options—and options create peace.
You can want marriage and still protect your future.
You can be hopeful about love and still make practical decisions.
And you do not have to become financially vulnerable just to prove that you are committed to a relationship.
If loneliness is tempting you to give a relationship more power than it has earned, my free Overcoming Loneliness training can help you build greater connection and peace without making major life decisions from fear of being alone.

Carry Yourself Like You Matter
2026/10/16
What does self-respect look like in everyday life?
It’s more than feeling confident. It shows up in how you care for yourself, your surroundings, your responsibilities, and the people around you.
In this episode, we’re talking about the quiet habits that communicate—to yourself and to the world—that your life matters.
We’ll talk about taking care of your body and appearance without turning it into perfectionism, creating spaces that support you, maintaining personal standards, and handling conflict without humiliating or attacking other people.
Real confidence is often quiet.
It looks like keeping your word, taking pride in your work, caring for what God has entrusted to you, and refusing to become someone you don’t respect just because someone else behaved badly.
If loneliness has made it difficult to stay engaged with your life, my free Overcoming Loneliness training can help you begin rebuilding connection, purpose, and peace right where you are.

You Can Be Strong Without Becoming Hard
2026/10/09
Sometimes we confuse strength with toughness.
We think being confident means being forceful, guarded, outspoken, or always ready to defend ourselves. But real strength can be calm. It can be gracious. It can be kind.
In this episode, we’re talking about how confidence, boundaries, kindness, and self-control can coexist. You can speak up without becoming harsh. You can say no without becoming hostile. You can protect your peace without turning cold.
We’ll also talk about why receiving help does not make you weak, why manners still matter, and how someone else’s bad behavior does not require you to match their energy.
You can become wiser and more discerning without becoming hard.
If heartbreak has left you feeling guarded, angry, or afraid to trust again, my free ABC’s of Healing training can help you begin working through that pain without pretending it didn’t matter.

Confidence Doesn’t Need an Audience
2026/10/02
Do you feel confident when people approve of you—but start questioning yourself when they don’t?
If your confidence depends on someone complimenting you, pursuing you, choosing you, or agreeing with you, then your sense of worth is still in someone else’s hands.
In this episode, we’re talking about a quieter, more grounded kind of confidence: knowing who you are without constantly needing other people to confirm it.
We’ll talk about why confidence isn’t believing you’re better than everyone else, why rejection doesn’t determine your value, and how being secure in yourself changes the way you approach dating and relationships.
You can desire marriage without needing marriage to prove that you’re worthy.
You can enjoy attention without depending on it.
And you can let other people have their opinions without constantly defending yourself.
That’s confidence without defensiveness.
If loneliness is making it difficult to feel grounded and content in your life, my free Overcoming Loneliness training can help you begin building more connection and peace right where you are.

Stop Shrinking Your Life for a Relationship
2026/09/25
Have you ever made your life smaller because you thought a relationship was finally going to become your happy ending?
Maybe you rearranged your schedule, turned down opportunities, neglected friendships, or put your own goals on hold because you were excited about a man.
In this episode, I’m sharing what Queen Elizabeth I unexpectedly taught me about standards, boundaries, discernment, and protecting the life God has already entrusted to you.
We’ll talk about why a healthy relationship should become part of the life you’re building—not require you to dismantle it—and why you can deeply desire marriage without putting your present life on hold.
You can remain open to love while continuing to build your friendships, career, health, finances, interests, ministry, and future.
Because you don’t have to shrink your life while you wait for someone to share it with.
If loneliness is making it difficult to enjoy the life you have right now, my free Overcoming Loneliness training can help you build more connection, peace, and meaning while you’re single.

2026/07/31
Show Notes
Do you have a story you've been telling yourself about why you're still single?

Eventually, I realized that wasn't how God saw me at all.
In this episode, we're talking about how to stop identifying yourself by your relationship status and start seeing yourself through the lens of Scripture.
In This Episode:
• Why singleness can quietly become part of your identity
• How thoughts create feelings and beliefs
• What Ephesians 1 says about who you already are in Christ
• Why God's opinion matters more than the story you've been telling yourself
• How gratitude can help you stop focusing on what's missing
