Description

Welcome to the Living in Sync Podcast, I am your host Joelle Suess and on this podcast you are going to be hearing how you can live fully into the present moment of your life no matter what stage, season, or phase (of your cycle) you are in. I have been an accidental entrepreneur for over a decade. I have experience in direct sales, course creation, 1;1 nutrition coaching, and everything in between. For a long time I put myself into a box. At first it was at home fitness, then it was intentional productivity as a mom, then it went back to hormone health and cycle syncing, and now I am just sharing it all with you. I am going to be sharing solo topic episodes as well as amazing guest conversations about all the things. No matter if you are a stay at home mom, corporate climber, entrepreneur, or anything in between I hope you enjoy each weeks topics because it is going to be a blend of everything! Health, wellness, nutrition, and living in sync with your cycle will still be some of our highlighted topics but why do we have to be so obsessed with our bodies losing weight when life is so bountiful and beautiful. There is so much more to life! I am in the midst of evolving, changing, and challenging myself! If you are in for real life topics of conversation make sure you are following the show so you don’t miss an episode!

What to Do When You Don’t Know What to Do (for the ladies in the season of in-between)
2026/02/03
This is one of the most honest episodes I’ve recorded in a while. I sat down and hit “record” not with a plan, but with a full heart and an in-between season I know so many of us find ourselves in. If you’ve ever felt stuck, unclear, or like your ambition has nowhere to go right now this one’s for you. In this episode, I’m sharing what I’m doing when I don’t have a clear path forward. We talk about: Taking control of the small things like workouts, appointments, decluttering, or refining the budget Setting mini goals and reflecting one day at a time What it means to live in sync with your current season instead of fighting it Why I’m shifting away from the “if you’re not growing, you’re dying” mentality The value of above-self purpose and how helping others helps you When there’s no plan… the power of prayer I also open up about how hard it is to feel stuck as an ambitious woman — and how I’m learning to trust that this is just a moment, not a forever. Growth doesn’t always look like forward motion. Sometimes it’s quiet. Sometimes it’s invisible. But it’s still growth. 💛 If this episode spoke to you, come say hi on Instagram [@joellesuess] and let me know what part resonated. I’m so glad you’re here.
How to Get the Whole Family Eating Healthier
2026/01/12
In this episode, I’m sharing some of the small but powerful shifts that have helped our family eat healthier — without turning meals into a battle or making a million changes at once. As a certified nutritionist (and busy mom), I get how overwhelming it can feel to overhaul your family’s eating habits. So instead, I’m walking you through the mindset shifts and simple strategies I use to keep things realistic and sustainable — especially during busy seasons. We chat about: How to take quiet ownership of your family’s health (without forcing it) What the “thirds method” is and how it helps me build balanced plates Easy breakfast routines that start the day off strong Tips for handling picky eaters with less stress and more patience Why I don’t buy certain things at the store (and how that helps everyone win) How I stock our kitchen with healthy staples that actually get used This episode is all about progress, not perfection — and finding rhythms that truly support your family’s well-being. 💛 Thanks for tuning in! Come say hi on Instagram [@joellesuess] and tell me what small food shift you’re focusing on this week.
My Favorite Meal Planning Hack // Simplifying Dinner with Theme Nights
2026/01/05
In this episode, I’m sharing the super simple dinner system that’s been saving my sanity lately — especially during busy weeks. I first discovered this idea from Amy Fritz on YouTube, and honestly, it’s been a game-changer. It’s all about theme nights — think Soup Sunday, Pasta Monday, Taco Tuesday — and how having a basic framework makes grocery shopping and weeknight cooking so much easier. No more staring into the fridge at 4:00 wondering what to make. I walk you through: How I set up our week using flexible theme nights Real-life examples of meals we rotate through for each night Why this system works even if your schedule or appetite changes How to make it your own based on what your family actually eats If meal planning has been feeling overwhelming or you’re just ready for a refresh, I think you’ll love this simple approach that brings structure without rigidity. 💛 Thanks for listening! Come say hi over on Instagram [@joellesuess] and tell me your go-to theme night dinners! Shout out to Amy Fritz on YouTube
My Fitness & Health Plan for 2026 + Reflecting on How I Lost 15 Pounds 2025
2025/12/29
In this episode, I’m taking you behind the scenes of my 2025 fitness journey — the wins, the pivots, and what I learned by really paying attention to my own body. I tracked a lot this past year (not just weight), and looking back has given me so much clarity heading into 2026. I’m sharing: The biggest takeaways from my year of cardio, and why it’s become a non-negotiable How intermittent fasting worked for me (and what I’d tweak moving forward) Why tracking my own evidence was a game-changer How I’m balancing strength, mobility, and endurance — without burning out My personal fitness goals for 2026 and how I’m setting myself up to actually stick to them If you’re reflecting on your own routines or craving a more aligned approach to movement and health this year, I hope this episode feels like a permission slip to do what works for you. 💛 Thanks for being here — come hang out with me on Instagram [@joellesuess] and let me know what your 2026 goals are!   Things I mentioned:  Joy of Movement by Kelly McGonigal Berbilean+  Hume Scale
Being Intentional Means You Can’t Prioritize Everything (That’s a Good Thing)
2025/12/23
In this episode, I’m welcoming the Christmas season with something I think we all need a reminder of this time of year: you don’t have to do it all at once. I’m sharing what it’s looked like for me to release the pressure of unfinished to-do lists and instead focus on living in sync with the season I’m in — emotionally, mentally, and practically. This mindset shift has helped me move from overwhelm to peace, and I hope it encourages you too. We talk about: Why not everything needs to be a priority right now and how to be okay with that My early motherhood memories and how they shaped my outlook on productivity How I’m approaching health and fitness with grace in this season Practical tips I use to manage tasks without spiraling A few books that have really supported my mindset lately: The Gap and the Gain, The Joy of Movement, and The Upside of Stress This is one of those cozy, honest episodes where I invite you to breathe a little deeper, take something off your plate, and remember that peace often comes when we accept our current season for what it is not what we think it “should” be. 💛 Thanks for being here. Come say hi on Instagram [@joellesuess] and tell me: what are you choosing to let go of in this season?
Favorite Things of 2025!
2025/12/17
In this episode, I’m sharing my top 7 favorite things of 2025 — the purchases, practices, and little joys that have added the most value to my life this year. Some were intentional splurges (hi, Facebook Marketplace sauna 🙌), and some were sweet surprises (like my Mother’s Day golf clubs that turned into a full-blown family hobby). I’m talking through all of it — the practical, the personal, and the fun. Here’s what I cover: My absolute best purchase of the year — and why it’s changed my wellness routine The sports bras I’m obsessed with (because comfort matters) How I fell back in love with running and what’s made it feel good again Thrifted home decor wins + how I’m using Pinterest differently this year A peek into how I’m using the Lose It app to track food with less pressure Why the Horacio Printing Dream Planner is still my ride-or-die for staying intentional and grateful I also share why I’m a big fan of setting goals quarter-by-quarter — and how this rhythm helps me stay in sync with what matters most in each season. 💛 Thanks for being here! Come say hi on Instagram [@joellesuess] and let me know — what’s one thing that made your 2025 better?
[GIRL CHAT] How I Stay On Track and Intentional All Year Long & December Reflection
2025/12/09
In this month’s Living in Sync girl chat, I’m sharing what’s been on my heart as we wrap up the year — from staying consistent with my goals to not getting caught in the holiday comparison trap. This episode was sparked by a sweet compliment someone gave me about my consistency, which led me to reflect on why I’ve been able to stay on track (even when life feels full and unpredictable). I’m talking through the systems and mindset shifts that help me keep showing up — and how you can make them work for your season too. Inside this episode: My honest December reflections and how I’m checking in with myself Thoughts on social media, comparison, and how I’m staying grounded A peek at my Spotify Wrapped + the music that’s been on repeat How I set intentional, realistic goals — and why writing things down matters Why I do quarterly reflections (and how it keeps me from drifting) A little celebration of this month’s “praise reports” — big and small wins Final encouragement to stay focused on your own pace, your own growth, and your own story This one’s part personal catch-up, part pep talk, part planning session — grab your coffee and come hang out with me. 📕 Gap & the Gain Book 💛 Let’s keep the convo going over on Instagram [@joellesuess] — I’d love to hear what you’re celebrating or locking in as we head into a new year!

A Busy Mom’s Survival Guide to the Holidays Without Losing Joy (or Your Mind)
2025/11/05
In this episode, I’m sharing the mindset and simple strategies I’m leaning on to stay grounded and present during the holidays because let’s be real, it’s so easy to slip into hustle and chaos this time of year. I talk about why I recently took a break from social media and how it helped me reconnect with real life. That break gave me clarity, and now I’m more focused on creating a season that feels good rather than just checking boxes. Here’s what you’ll hear: How I’m assessing what season I (and my family) are in right now Setting realistic boundaries around events, expectations, and energy How I’m using my Notes app to stay organized and cut the chaos Gift ideas that feel intentional and don’t require panic-buying My plan for simple, low-stress meals and much needed downtime Thoughts on self-care (even in small ways) during the busy weeks ahead A few personal stories, October reflections, and life updates — including thrifting finds, what I'm watching, and what I’m currently loving which is PINTEREST This episode is like a warm holiday hug with a little strategy sprinkled in — if you're craving a slower, more meaningful season, I think you’ll love it. 💛 Thanks so much for tuning in — I love having you here. Let’s keep the convo going over on Instagram: joellesuess Tell me: what’s one thing you're simplifying this holiday season?
End-of-Year Lock-In — How I’m Staying Consistent with Health + Fitness Goals (Even During the Holidays)
2025/10/01
In this episode, I’m sharing how I’m locking in my health and fitness goals as we head into the final stretch of the year — because this season doesn’t have to be a total free-for-all (or a stress spiral!). I talk through what it looks like to live in sync with this season of life instead of trying to force something extreme or unsustainable — and how I’m approaching Q4 with a mindset of steadiness, not burnout. Here’s what I cover: My go-to mindset shift for finishing the year strong (but not frantic) Why I’m following the plan, not my feelings What I’m focusing on daily: hydration, nutrition awareness, and consistent movement How I’m planning for social events and indulgences without spiraling Simple ways I’m tracking progress and adjusting as I go The role of uplifting content, supportive routines, and communities — plus a few recs! If you’ve ever felt like the end of the year is just “survival mode” — this episode is your reminder that you can still honor your body, take care of yourself, and feel really good going into a new year. [GIRL CHAT] My Workout Routine is Finally Working (Because I Stopped Doing This)
2025/09/16
In this episode of Living in Sync, I’m bringing you behind the scenes of how my workout mindset has totally shifted lately. I used to live by the “hard days hard, easy days easy” motto… but if I’m being honest, that approach just hasn’t been serving me anymore — especially as my body (and schedule!) have changed. Now? I’m all about consistency over intensity. I’m sharing what my current routine looks like — a realistic mix of strength training, running, and mobility work — and how I’m finally finding my rhythm in a way that feels both sustainable and energizing. We’ll chat about: Why I stopped swinging between extremes with my workouts How I’m using Beachbody on Demand to stay consistent What my weekly movement mix actually looks like (without perfection) The role cardio and mobility are playing in how I feel lately Why small changes and realistic goals are the actual game-changers If you’re craving a workout routine that supports your real life and not just your highlight reel — this one’s for you. 💛 Thanks for tuning in! Let’s keep the conversation going over on Instagram: [@joellesuess] — I’d love to hear what movement looks like for you right now.
5 Key Areas I’m Decluttering Before School Starts (Because Chaos Isn’t the Vibe)
2025/08/21
In this episode, I’m walking you through the five spots I’m decluttering and resetting before the school year kicks off — because let’s be honest, mornings are already wild enough without tripping over shoes or digging through a messy pantry. These are the zones I’m focusing on to make the back-to-school transition smoother and saner for everyone: The kids’ closets and drawers (because suddenly nothing fits??) Our backpack and shoe storage (aka the disaster zone by the door) The pantry — think easy grab-and-go lunch prep + after-school snack flow My car, which has become a traveling trash can this summer The drop zone where backpacks and shoes should land after school I’m also sharing little tips that help me keep these spaces tidy (without having to overhaul them again next week) and why setting up a few of these systems ahead of time makes such a difference in how we all show up. Let’s get organized — and stay in sync — for the season ahead. ✨ Thanks for listening! Come say hi over on Instagram: [@joellesuess] and share what YOU’RE resetting before school starts!
[GIRL CHAT] Struggle Bus Summer, Mom Mode in Overdrive, Back Pain Battles, Mental Slumps, & MORE
2025/08/12
After a little summer break, I’m back — and in this episode, I’m catching you up on what’s been going on behind the scenes. I’m sharing both the highs and the hard stuff: everything from fun family days and slow mornings… to mental health struggles, sciatica flare-ups, and figuring out how to stay consistent with my habits when things feel heavy. I also open up about: Why I started this podcast in the first place — and what you can (and can’t) expect from it What summer looked like in our home (think day camps, dance parties, and navigating allll the transitions) How I’ve adjusted my workouts and movement routine — especially with back pain in the mix What’s been helping most with my nutrition and supplement routine - get Protea Here The emotional weight I’ve been carrying, and how I’m anchoring into small, supportive habits Why making time for connection and community matters more than ever This show has no business agenda — just creative, fun, real-life topics that I hope encourage you in your own wellness journey. Thanks for being here and listening — I’m so grateful for this space. ✨ Come say hi and continue the conversation with me over on Instagram: [@joellesuess]
Not Sure What to Do Next? Try This for More Clarity, Confidence, and Peace Around Your Decision
2025/07/15
In this episode, I’m sharing some of the ways I’ve learned to approach big (and often messy) life decisions — the ones that don’t come with clear answers and tend to keep us up at night. I walk you through how I personally like to sort through decisions using simple tools like a good old-fashioned pros and cons list, talking with trusted (but neutral) voices, and reminding myself that nothing is ever permanent — even when it feels huge in the moment. I also share why I believe in easing into major changes when possible, and how I seek out stories and wisdom from people who’ve walked a similar path. And of course, I talk about the role of prayer and connecting with God when I need clarity or just the courage to take the next right step. If you’re standing at a crossroads or just feeling unsure about your next move, I hope this episode gives you some peace, perspective, and a few practical tools to help you move forward. 💛 Thank you for listening and being part of this space. Come say hi on Instagram [@joellesuess] — I’d love to hear what resonated with you or what decision you’re working through right now.

We’ll talk about: Why I got some blood work done — and what it revealed How I’m thinking about health routines this summer (spoiler: it’s not about perfection) The scripture that’s been grounding me lately (Galatians 6:9 if you want to peek ahead!) Simple ways to reflect, realign, and set your Q3 intentions Navigating motherhood, work, and finding space to care for you in the midst of it all If you’ve been craving a reset too, or just need a reminder that it’s okay to begin again — this one’s for you. 💛 Thanks so much for listening — it means the world to me to have you here.
