Do you know who you’re married to? What if you thought you did, but in reality you had no idea and that person was almost the opposite of who you thought they were? Well, that turned out to be the case for Barbara Bentley.  Email us at: [email protected] Patreon: Patreon.com/strangeunusual Follow the pod on IG at: @strange_unusual_podcast Bluesky: @strangeunusualpod.bsky.social Twitter: @_strangeunusual Facebook: The Strange and Unusual Podcast 'Elevator' music: Darren Curtis Theme song: rap2h and Calamity Casey

So guys, I’m not gonna lie, I raw-dogged this episode. There’s some rough content at the end where Casey and I talk about the death of family members as well as the death of pets and animals in general and we didn’t exactly put a trigger warning on it because we didn’t expect to have emotions happen. Also I cried so… sorry not sorry. Anyway, Casey talks about the French morgues and the creative way they came up with to try to identify unknown bodies. An incredible woman who would have risen through the ranks of the political sphere had she just not been disabled and a woman. Virginia Hall was a woman who led an interesting, tumultuous and dangerous life in the name of what she thought was right and what she was passionate about. Like I said, one hell of an Aries.  Email us at: [email protected] Patreon: Patreon.com/strangeunusual Follow the pod on IG at: @strange_unusual_podcast Bluesky: @strangeunusualpod.bsky.social Twitter: @_strangeunusual Facebook: The Strange and Unusual Podcast 'Elevator' music: Darren Curtis Theme song: rap2h and Calamity Casey

It might surprise you to find out what was amongst the most dangerous jobs in the industrial revolution. Find out all that and more as Casey rallies against capitalism in an episode about the dangerous lives women and children had to endure and are still enduring to this day in the name of cheap products.  Email us at: [email protected] Patreon: Patreon.com/strangeunusual Follow the pod on IG at: @strange_unusual_podcast Bluesky: @strangeunusualpod.bsky.social Twitter: @_strangeunusual Facebook: The Strange and Unusual Podcast 'Elevator' music: Darren Curtis Theme song: rap2h and Calamity Casey

A man made lake over a lot of man made problems. Specifically problems made by white men. From the forced removal of the indigenous Cherokee to the expulsion of all the Black citizens, there are possibly a ton of very angry ghosts underneath 160 feet of water. Also maybe a ghost stick? It’s over. Finally… for now. Casey takes everyone through the final hours of the trial and hopefully we’re done with long arching episodes about the Lori Vallow/Chad Daybell situations.  At least until appeals happen… Email us at: [email protected] Patreon: Patreon.com/strangeunusual Follow the pod on IG at: @strange_unusual_podcast Bluesky: @strangeunusualpod.bsky.social Twitter: @_strangeunusual Facebook: The Strange and Unusual Podcast 'Elevator' music: Darren Curtis Theme song: rap2h and Calamity Casey

You’ve heard about ‘I Know What You Did Last Summer’, now listen to ‘I Know What You Did for the Last Fifteen Summers’. Give or take. When a small town is plagued by strange letters that seem to know far too much for comfort, the community is left with the confusion and the rumors caused by them.  Email us at: [email protected] Patreon: Patreon.com/strangeunusual Follow the pod on IG at: @strange_unusual_podcast Bluesky: @strangeunusualpod.bsky.social Twitter: @_strangeunusual Facebook: The Strange and Unusual Podcast 'Elevator' music: Darren Curtis Theme song: rap2h and Calamity Casey
