Description

Make Disciples of All Nations: Experience From Sarang Church
2022/12/20
Hi PDT Podcast listeners, it has been quite some time that we have last uploaded an episode but we are glad to say that we may be quiet but not gone. In this special episode, we asked pastor Heru to share his experience and thoughts about his visit to Sarang Church in Korea where he had joined a 2 weeks seminar regarding church discipleship. Sarang church is a church that had grown to about 60,000 members, mainly through their cohesive and rigorous discipleship program and we, in the podcast, think that its something that we should share as well to more believers in Indonesia. Hopefully this episode may encourage us to think more about discipleship in our respective churches. Tune in and be blessed!

We are very delighted to have pastor Eko Aria to join our discussion of the creation story! In this episode, he will share his thoughts on temple theology, a topic which he has invested much study into; however, unlike the trajectory of our discussions, he will try to speak of the negative reception of the temple, specifically Jesus' own critique of the temple in the New Testament. It has a been a beneficial and fun time recording these episodes with him, so, tune in and be blessed.

In this episode, we add a few couple remarks with regards to all the things we learn from Walton's way of reading Genesis and the Torah: How do we, then, read the Bible? How does the Bible truly teach us wisdom? What do we mean when we say that the Bible is a model? Tune in and be blessed.

S2E10: Is Torah a Legislation or Instruction?
2021/05/03
In this episode, we pick up from where left off previously by discussing the constructive implication of understanding the Creation story in its function. Rather than just engaging in the Creation story, we borrow Walton's thoughts on the Torah to help us in laying a general constructive principle. More specifically, we will discuss on the nature of the Torah and to understand it from the perspective of an instruction rather than a legislation. Tune in and be blessed.
