Hey 'Y'all! I hope you enjoy this episode about what K Dot means to me. I pray this ep sparks you to embrace your Blackness unapologetically and that you stop assimilating into white society. As someone who was wrongfully fired in 2019 by three white women and I was the only Black woman in the room and had no choice but to sign a"severance package" because I needed the money and now I can't sue that company for racism & discrimination, KDOTS' performance made me cry and made me feel seen and validated my Blackness after working in corporate America. *I do not own rights to the music in this episode* 💐Intro song-Not Like Us: Kendrick Lamar 💐Closing Song: man at the garden: Kendrick Lamar 💐Cover Art:Google

Hey Y’all!❤️🖤💚 It’s a lot going on and I felt the urge to speak on what’s going with the Black community! ✨Don’t forget to comment /leave a review and if you resonate with what I’m talking about I would love to hear your thoughts! 💐 Thank you to the solid listeners for rocking with ME! 💐Cover Art edited and taken by ME!!!!!!

**** My ex-Black friends(Chris Joesph and Laila) whom I had featured on my podcast for S1 & S3 & I used to be friends with 2 years ago betrayed me and started a smear campaign and enabled and participated in anti-blackness,anti-poverty(talking down on poor people &attacking poor people), respectability politics, colorism, racism, classism, elitism, misinformation, rumors, lies and allowed non-Black people to attack a Black woman's mutual aid post.**** Additional Clarification: While recording the episode I made a few mistakes and I don't want my words to be taken out of context. While talking about us still being in a pandemic I want those of us who are not immunocompromised to be more mindful not to spread COVID-19 and those of us who are not immunocompromised have to ALSO wear our masks even though some of us are not immunocompromised have to be mindful of those who are immunocompromised ( a way to describe a weak immune system. When your immune system is weakened, your body can't fight off viruses, bacteria, or fungi very well. This can lead to serious infections and can pose a major health risk) Also, when I said "She's a fetish"meaning myself that's not what I meant to say I meant to say that Laila said I was fetishizing Palestinian men which is not true I was humanizing them. Laila has been nitpicking ALL my content and keeping tabs on me which is obsessive and fan behavior and she is a BULLY. I will continue to fight to see a FREE PALESTINE, CONGO, SUDAN AND to use my platform to HUMANIZE BLACK WOMEN especially my dark skin and brown skin Black women. Hey, y'all! I wrote a letter to Future Black Generations… Also, Black People currently here NOW if you feel called to write letters to future Black Generations please do so let’s start a trend, and let’s tell our stories and speak to our future Black generations like they are already here(it’s called visualization)  I have chills the same way I have read and learned about the past generations from our Enslaved Ancestors, Malcolm X, Nelson Mandela, Nina Simone, Miriam Makeba, Tupac and so many historical figures we know …future Black generations will study US and what we did during these times.  What will you want them to know?  ***Also, as an artist, I have let go of perfection and just allowing myself to write and create with intentionality so all the grammar errors you see I’m just going to leave them. I don’t care anymore what grammar police think of me.🤷🏾‍♀️ *** Use the #DearFutureBlackGenerations and tag @Kumosunfilteredconvos on Instagram if you decided to write a letter.***  Link to original letter:  https://kumosunfilteredconvospodcast.wordpress.com/2022/12/12/dear-future-black-generations/  Patreon link: https://www.patreon.com/posts/s4-ep-11-dear-75834310?utm_medium=clipboard_copy&utm_source=copyLink&utm_campaign=postshare_creator&utm_content=join_link

In this episode, I share my story of how I had people closest to me who were secretly jealous of me and they had secret animosity towards me and they tried to ruin my name and character and how what happened to Shanquella Robinson( a woman who was murdered at the hands of her supposed "friends" in Mexico in October)almost happened to me. In this episode, I talk about Ryan Coogler's "Black Panther: Wakanda Forever" how this movie is a love letter to Black Africans and the Diaspora, and how Black Panther is pointing Black people back to Africa!  Black Panther has played a significant role in my spiritual awakening journey. I talk about how African Spirituality is featured in this movie and the importance of honoring our Ancestors and having relationships with our Ancestors which are  ALL part of Wakanda Forever 🙅🏾‍♀️🙅🏾‍♀️🙅🏾‍♀️ Full episode link: https://www.patreon.com/posts/s4-ep-9-black-is-74942636?utm_medium=clipboard_copy&utm_source=copyLink&utm_campaign=postshare_creator Song: Sampa The Great -Never Forget ***I do not own rights to this song***

Kyrie Irving a  Point Guard for the Brooklyn Nets shared a link to the documentary "Hebrews to Negroes: Wake Up Black America" on his social media platforms by Ronald Dalton Jr, revealing some factual truths about White Jews and Black people. Since sharing the link to this documentary Kyrie has been labeled"Antisemitic" he has lost his contract with Nike and has been suspended without pay from the Nets. Kyrie has done nothing wrong. Should he have added additional context on why he shared the link?  Yes. And he has taken FULL responsibility that he could have handled the situation differently. All the backlash/demands he is receiving are racist and feel very excessive and are tools and methods being used to control a Black man to "stay in line" which is what Slave owners used to do to Enslaved people when they got out of line and tried to defend themselves. The way Ky is being treated is problematic especially since other White people who make racial slurs in the industry and say anti-Black things don't get as many consequences and accountability as Kyrie is getting. In this episode, I talk about how Amazon's CEO Andy Jassy (a White Jewish man)and Jeff Bezos are still profiting off the documentary to the point they raised the price of the documentary since this whole Kyrie incident and how they still have the documentary on Amazon and they are not receiving any HEAT..but yet Kyrie(a Black man)is being labeled "antisemitic".
