October 2026 Dancing Gnome 10th Anniversary Talk with Andrew and Jaron
2026/10/07
It's time to celebrate 10 years of Dancing Gnome with a new episode of Good, but not the best... a Dancing Gnome podcast! This entire episode is pretty much one big Look Back / Look Ahead, so we dive right in with a quick recap of September in the world of Dancing Gnome. Part of looking back includes the annual trip to the PNW for hop selection, for which Jaron tagged along this year, and Andrew gets his perspective as a first timer. Next, we talk about the upcoming DG 10th Anniversary! Andrew tells us about all 10 collaboration beers that will be available, including how they decided on which beer styles to brew with which collaborating brewery, and much more. We finish up with a quick round of Watch, Listen, Learn. Thanks for listening!!

Next, we are joined by our guest, Lauren Brock from Butterfat Gelato. Lauren was a guest exactly 2 years ago and a lot has happened in that time! Lauren tells us about the opening of Butterfat's brick and mortar location in the North side, the response they've seen so far, and much more. DG family member and frequent guest Matt Pyecha sits in with us for this entire episode, which we kick off by talking through a dumb scenario Jaron thought up before then taking a Look Back and Look Ahead in the world of DG. The next segment is all hop talk including some specifics about this year's hop selection, a discussion about the secondary market, and much more. We finish up by playing a round of Name that Hop, followed by a quick Watch, Listen, Learn. Thanks for listening!
