A tv series following the girls that King Midas shook hands with, and how they cope with their day to day lives after being turned into solid gold.  Of course not. This is of course, the classic American tv series starring Betty White about a group of friends in their retirement years.  We hope you enjoy our (slightly) christmassy ramblings about The Golden Girls, Series 5, episode 12. 

This week we are talking about Loki, a story of a young orphan who grows up with a terrible sense of pitch. He can only sing in Low Keys and joins a choir where he learns not only to sing in a higher range but also how to live laugh and love! Sorry that was a terrible pun! We are of course doing the massive Marvel show Loki about everyone's favourite naughty god! Hope you enjoy!

This Week on Random Telly Vision, we are watching The Power! A spin off series from the Power Rangers about the pink power ranger who has stolen all of their powers and wants to take over the world one ridiculous fight scene at a time! Not really. This is actually the Amazon Prime original tv adaptation of the best selling book (of the same name) by Naomi Alderman. We hope you enjoy our confused conversations about The Power, series 1, episode 5. 

This Week on Random Telly Vision, we are watching Nobody’s Looking! A searing indictment of the history of  hide and seek, Nobody’s Looking delves into the origins of the classic children’s game. From the heartbreaking stories of solo games, to the space defying Sardines variation.  Of course not. This is really the Brazilian fantasy comedy programme about guardian angels and their rules.  We hope you enjoy our confused conversations about Nobody’s Looking, series 1, episode 6. 

This Week on Random Telly Vision, we are watching Wednesday! Woden's day. Water day. Hump day.  Sheffield. There are so many different ways of referring to the middle of the week. Not least, the to the point German word, Mittwoch. This series delves into the history of this special 24 hour period, by exploring its origins from around the world, and beyond! Of course not. This is really the Tim Burton TV series based around the adventures of the eponymous Wednesday Addams. We hope you enjoy our confused conversations about Wednesday, series 1, episode 2. 

This week on Random Telly Vision, we are watching Blockbuster!  This is the tv show that follows the rise and fall of Tetris! Or really, just the fall of the blocks into their respective spaces or lack of. You too can watch along as people from around the world play this beloved video game to the sweeping orchestral soundtrack of Wagner. Some games will last for an entire Ring cycle, while others a fleeting leitmotif.  Not really, but we wouldn't put anything past youtubers. This is of course the comedy tv show about the last ever Blockbuster store in America, starring Melissa Fumero and Randall Park We hope you enjoy our confused conversations about Blockbuster, series 1, episode 8. 

This week on a very special episode of Random Telly Vision, we are watching The Lord of the Rings: The Rings of Power!  This show investigates what happens when hula hoops gain magical powers and can bend people to their will! Imagine if you will the prime minister hula hooping whilst presenting new laws, or being forced to hula hoop your way around the supermarket.  This is of course the multi million dollar budget Amazon prime tv show based on the works of J.R.R. This week on a very special episode of Random Telly Vision, we are watching The 100! Some may call it kismet, some fate, some blind luck, but we call it perfect planning and foresight. That sounds like us right? The 100 is a fascinating documentary/scripted reality series following the different cricket teams competing in the One Hundred competition. From the Warhammer arguments between Moeen Ali and Eoin Morgan, to the barely subtle sexual tension between Anya Shrubsole and Kate Cross*, this is truly an edge of your seat watch!  *All totally real cricketers, probably not totally real situations.  Of course not. This is really the post apocalyptic sci fi drama series that showed us what would happen if teenagers were sent to earth to form their own civilisation. Spoiler alert, they didn't have tik tok.
