2027 Business Predictions: AI, AEO and the Future of Bounce House Rentals | Just Go #118
2026/10/14
Nick Glassett of The Jump Off and Alvin Bearden of Wow Inflatables share their 2027 business predictions for bounce house and party rental owners.
Will AI replace bounce house rental companies? No. Live events and real parties are one of the last things people want done in person, so rental companies that add personal touches will keep winning.
Is SEO dead in 2027? Not dead, but Nick and Alvin expect Google search traffic to drop fast while AEO, where ChatGPT and other AI assistants answer the question, takes over.
Will inflatables get cheaper? Prices are already falling across the board, and they expect costs and rental prices to keep dropping, so plan your pricing NOW.
What should rental owners do? Shift toward bigger events, add upsells like water slides, mini pools and cocktail kegs, and show your own party photos and stories, because people want what other people have!
Also in this episode: AI remakes of old cartoons (Alvin put himself and Bigfoot into Thundarr the Barbarian with one prompt), endless Seinfeld seasons, and whether pro sports is scripted.

AI Employees Are Now Running The Jump Off | Just Go #116
2026/08/20
AI employees are running The Jump Off. Not as a pitch deck. In this episode of the Just Go Podcast, Nick Glassett and Alvin Bearden walk through what that looks like inside a real bounce house and inflatable rental company in Covington, Louisiana.
Nick told an AI agent to sell an old inflatable that was taking up warehouse space. The agent listed it on Facebook Marketplace, answered the buyer, set the meetup, and the customer showed up with cash. Nick was in a meeting and never opened Facebook.
If you run inflatables, this episode answers the questions operators are actually asking:
What is an AI employee in a rental company? Software that finishes the job. Nick breaks it into three phases: chatbots that answer, agents that complete one task, and swarms that spin up other agents to hit a bigger goal. At The Jump Off that looks like routing, SOPs, customer texts, and posts getting done overnight.
Which AI should you use? Nick uses ChatGPT for ideas, Claude for careful writing and code, and Grok for actions and checks. He runs them in the same workflow so they catch each other. ChatGPT will invent an answer to please you. Claude is slower and more careful. Grok is weaker at code and stronger at doing things.
What is AEO for a bounce house company? Answer engine optimization means publishing pages that solve a real problem so AI search can cite you. Examples from this episode: a soft unit, a tripped GFCI, weather delays. Those pages also give a customer-service bot something true to send. Keyword-stuffed pages are getting dropped.
What is the risk? AI will invent facts. One draft page claimed The Jump Off follows ASTM specifications on every setup. That was false and a liability. You cannot hand the keys over. A human still reviews.
Nick's line: you do not have to be the expert. The model is. Your job is to be the boss who checks the work.

Ai is Already Changing the Bounce House Business
2026/07/21
AI is already changing the bounce house business, and the operators who learn to use it now will have a serious head start.
Nick Glassett, founder of Louisiana event-rental company The Jump Off and The Jump Off Store, joins Alvin Danzy to recap the first Bounce Into Biz workshop. They break down how inflatable rental operators used AI to build landing pages, custom apps, personalized customer videos, and tools they could put to work immediately.
They also explain agentic AI in plain English, why you do not need to be a “computer person,” and how AI can multiply the output of a small rental company without multiplying its payroll.
In this episode:
What agentic AI actually is and how it differs from a chatbotA student’s eight-second AI birthday video and why it could become one of the inflatable industry’s cheapest customer-retention toolsHow Nick built a tent-rental website in roughly one prompt after putting the project off for three yearsWhy AI-powered search is changing how customers find bounce house and event-rental companiesWhen AI-generated content works and when it backfiresWhy the manufacturer relationships built at Bounce Into Biz may be worth more than walking a trade-show floor
