Maximize Waxing Moon Momentum
2026/04/19
Week of April 20, 2026
We’re in a waxing moon cycle—energy is building, momentum is gathering, and things are beginning to come together.
That Aries new moon from last week is still very much in play. There’s thrust here—to initiate, to move, to finally act on what’s been brewing. We’re in a launching cycle now, or at the very least, a “things are in motion” cycle.
Monday, April 20The moon is in Gemini until 1:17 a.m. ET, then void of course for the rest of the day.
A void-of-course moon means there’s no real emotional glue—things can be said, planned, even agreed upon, but what actually sticks is questionable.
That doesn’t make it a dull day—Gemini can be lively, curious, full of ideas and conversation. But it is a day to ask: what has staying power?
It’s better used for working on what’s already in motion, organizing, strategizing, or clearing space for what’s next.
Early in the day, Mercury aligns with Saturn—good for planning, focus, and structure (as long as you don’t get stuck or second-guess yourself). Later, Mercury aligns with Mars, and things can move quickly—words especially. But paired with a void moon, it’s wise to let things simmer. Not everything said or decided now will hold.
Tuesday, April 21The moon enters Cancer at 1:00 p.m. ET.
The morning still carries that Gemini buzz—movement, conversation, back-and-forth. But once the moon shifts into Cancer, the energy softens and turns inward.
This is a mixed-signal kind of day. Creative, intuitive—but not fully clear.
Think of it as cooking the sauce—tasting, adjusting, letting it sit. You don’t want to rush decisions. It’s a day for exploration, experimentation, and feeling things out without attachment to outcome.
You’re finding the focus—not forcing it.
Wednesday, April 22From about 9:30 a.m. onward, things click.
Insight, opportunity, inspiration—this is where earlier effort starts to coalesce. The dots connect, often in unexpected ways.
This is true in work and in relationships. If something hasn’t been landing, this is the kind of day where you find the key that fits. There’s clarity, openness, and a real chance to meet in the middle.
That energy carries into Thursday (until about 3:28 p.m. ET, when the moon goes void).
These are strong, heart-centered days for creating, producing, and connecting.
There’s also an opportunity here for more authentic communication. Not just texting—but really hearing one another. Tone, nuance, presence. With the moon in Cancer connecting to Uranus, something new can come through—emotionally honest, creatively alive, and a little electric.
It may challenge old patterns, but it opens the door to something more real.
Thursday afternoon → FridayThe moon enters Leo at 3:41 p.m. ET Thursday.
Now the spark catches fire.
Friday is fun, expressive, creative. The moon goes void at 6:21 p.m., making it a great evening for play—going out, dressing up, romance, music, anything that brings joy and aliveness.
Saturday, April 25The moon is void most of the day (until 9:04 p.m. ET when it enters Virgo), so the weekend has a loose, playful feel.
Midday Saturday brings a Sun–Pluto square—strong, intense energy. Avoid power struggles. If something rises, channel it into something meaningful rather than reactive.
Be aware of where your drive is coming from. That awareness makes all the difference in how it’s expressed.
Saturday evening, as the moon enters Virgo, the energy grounds.
SundayProductive, clean, restorative.
Virgo wants results—so tend to your space, your body, your routines. Fix what’s been nagging at you. Do what brings a sense of completion.
Anything you invest in your well-being now pays you back.

Aries New Moon 2026
2026/04/12
If you were feeling brittle, fraught, or just a little electrically charged this weekend, that tracks. There’s been a lot of switching—one direction, then another. That kind of energy can feel exciting or completely depleting, depending on how you’re wired.
Even if you tend to run energetic, this kind of configuration can bring sudden stops—like you’re buzzing along and then, suddenly, detours. Things don’t go as planned. It can feel frustrating. Heavy.
That energy is lifting.
Monday the 13th (early morning, ET)At 3:42 a.m., we move out of that buzzy, stop-start energy. The Moon goes void of course, then enters Pisces at 4:55 a.m.
You may be asleep for it—and honestly, that’s ideal.
Void-of-course Moon: don’t start anything new. Rest, recharge, work with what’s already in motion. Clear space.
Once the Moon enters Pisces, the energy softens.
It’s lovely. Creative. Fertile. Sublime, really.
We’re in a waning Moon, so the push to begin something new may not be there—but the energy to complete, to immerse, to create? Very much so.
This is a couple of days for inspiration. For wandering. For following the thread—oh, let’s look at this, let’s go there.
Meditation retreats, dance, music, art, beauty—anything that expands you.
We need it. It’s like hydration for the spirit.
A reminder that growth, wonder, and creative flow are not luxuries—they’re what keep us alive.
Wednesday the 15thThe Moon goes void again at 6:07 a.m., then enters Aries at 10:04 a.m.
Now everything shifts.
This is where we start moving—decisively—toward the Aries New Moon.
Finish things. Close chapters.
Be decisive. Even ruthless, if needed. Aries cuts through. It does not linger.
This is that energy where something that’s been stuck suddenly breaks loose—like ice coming off a mountain. And when it moves, it moves.
But we are still in the dark of the Moon.
So yes—feel the momentum. But also: pause. Reflect. Measure.
Because there’s a lot in Aries now—the Moon, Mercury, Neptune, Mars, Saturn. It’s a chorus.
The feeling can be: I need to act. Now.
Like a river running through you.
And that urgency can tip into impulsiveness—don’t get in my way energy.
So if something—or someone—pushes back, take a beat. Ask yourself: do I really want to burn this down?
Maybe you do.
But do it consciously.
Stay at the helm. Know why you’re moving in the direction you’re moving.
Thursday the 16thThe question becomes: if I’m moving forward, what needs to go?
This is about stripping down to essentials.
Not everything you’re holding onto is wrong—but some of it may no longer be necessary.
Memories. Loyalties. Old ways of doing things.
Are they supporting you—or slowing you down?
This is deck-clearing energy. You want space to move.
Early in the day, be clear about priorities. Too many directions will scatter you.
Choose.
There’s strong momentum here to push something forward—but hold the actual launch.
That comes after the New Moon.
Friday the 17th — New Moon in Aries (7:52 a.m. ET)This New Moon feels clean. Fresh. Unburdened.
If you’ve done the clearing work, you step into this cycle lighter. More direct.
A sense of: nothing is in my way.
It’s very Aries—straight out of the cannon.
(And as I’m saying that, there are literal firecrackers going off outside my house. So yes. On point.)
The Moon goes void shortly after, then enters Taurus at 11:58 a.m.
Now we ground.
Friday evening into Saturday the 18thTaurus Moon: settle in. Build something real. Enjoy your senses.
There is a brief tension with Pluto—can feel like a push-pull, a power dynamic, maybe something small, maybe something deeper.
Just notice it. Don’t overreact.
It passes.
And then—very nice energy.
Cozy. Grounded. Beautiful. Good food, good company, things that feel solid.
Saturday is rich. Productive in a steady way.
Good for conversations around money, growth, building something that lasts.
Sunday the 19thStill good, steady energy through midday.
Then the Moon moves into Gemini, and things lighten.
Now we share. Talk. Exchange ideas. Start sketching things out.
Overall, this is a supportive stretch.
You move from clearing and releasing, into decisive action, into a clean beginning, and then into something tangible.
Fire to earth to air.
Momentum, grounded.
A good weekend to build something that actually has a future.

Strategic Choices; Waning Moon Cycle
2026/04/05
Here we are in the first full week of April as I prepare this forecast for April 6, 2026. This month marks the final pass of Uranus through the sign of Taurus before it moves into Gemini for the next eight years.
Because Uranus is at such a late degree of Taurus—basically cresting the threshold—we’re not exactly wrapping up the lessons of Uranus in Taurus yet. But we are certainly feeling the effects of this closing chapter.
For each of us personally that can mean different things. Globally, though, we’ve certainly seen it reflected in the tumultuousness of finance, the rise of cryptocurrency, and the jack-in-the-box quality of things that seem tangible one day and uncertain the next.
Part of this Uranus-in-Taurus transit has also amplified those sudden urges to grab onto something material—possessions, resources, things that suddenly appear to have tremendous value. Sometimes the desire is genuine, sometimes it’s reactionary, but the impulse can feel very strong.
Taurus is, among other things, about the earth and the physical world we inhabit. As Uranus makes its final pass—and with us currently in a waning moon cycle—we may see symbolic moments of “last grabs” for things that seem necessary or materially important.
At the same time, we’re witnessing almost the opposite dynamic as well: a cavalier attitude toward resources. Enormous amounts of money flowing into things like war, while human health and well-being often seem to be treated as secondary.
It’s been a wild ride, this Uranus in Taurus.
I wish I could say Uranus in Gemini will be a breeze. It won’t be. But it will be different. The conversations will change. The focus will shift.
And while it would be lovely to believe humanity is ready to release its attachment to conflict, that may still be something we’re collectively working through.
Monday, April 6
Moon in Sagittarius
As the week opens, there’s actually a surprising sense of optimism. Sagittarius energy wants to explore—new ideas, new territory, new possibilities.
People may be excited to share thoughts, concepts, or visions they’re passionate about. It’s a good day to put ideas into the world.
However, there’s an important caveat.
With this much enthusiasm in the air, some people—especially strong air and fire personalities—may be so excited about sharing that they forget to listen. If we get caught up in storytelling or inspiration, we might miss the signals that others are sending:
“Hey… pull back a little.”“This is too much right now.”“I’d like to get a word in.”
The magic of this day happens when we balance speaking with listening.
That said, it can be a tremendous day for meeting people aligned with something you’re trying to bring forward.
Because we are still in a waning moon phase, the energy naturally supports:
* finishing things
* refining ideas already in motion
* wrapping up projects or conversations
Starting something new isn’t impossible—but it requires awareness. Read the room. Pay attention to how your ideas are received.
Conflict may arise, but conflict isn’t always negative. It can help refine ideas—if communication stays respectful.
The goal is a genuine give-and-take where everyone feels heard.
Overall, Monday can be dynamic. Maybe not everything gets completed, but a lot of ideas can move forward.
Tuesday, April 7
Similar energy, with a focus on clarity
Tuesday continues much of Monday’s energy. Around midday you may feel the urge to finalize, edit, or clarify a message that needs to be communicated.
This is also a good time to remember something simple but essential:move your body.
If you can get outside—wonderful. If not, whatever form of movement you naturally enjoy will do the trick.
Our bodies are extraordinary instruments, and they need movement to stay alive and responsive.
I remind myself of this often because I’m someone who lives mostly in my head—and, astrologically speaking, I have very little earth in my chart.
Earth energy grounds us. It reminds us to eat, move, and care for the body.
I remember a speech class I took in college. Ironically, most of the class was made up of football players who thought it would be an easy requirement.
One of the speeches stuck with me. A student explained how muscles will atrophy if they aren’t used regularly.
We were all in our twenties at the time, and it struck me so clearly: living tissue needs engagement. If it’s ignored long enough, the body simply decides it isn’t necessary.
So with the Moon in Sagittarius Monday and Tuesday—walk, dance, hike, stretch.
Give your body whatever movement feels natural.
Wednesday, April 8
Void Moon → Moon enters Capricorn
The Moon goes void of course at 5:52 a.m. When the Moon is void, it’s not making another geometric aspect to another planetary body.
In simple terms, that means we’re often less emotionally attached to outcomes.
During longer void periods it’s best to:
* finish existing tasks
* avoid launching major new ventures
* postpone important decisions if possible
But this particular void is brief.
The Moon enters Capricorn at 8:04 a.m., and the tone shifts toward practicality.
There’s also an interesting Mars-Uranus dynamic in the sky that could bring sudden opportunities or exciting possibilities.
If something unexpected appears—something that seems thrilling or unusual—enjoy exploring it.
Just don’t sign the dotted line yet.
There may be missing information or a slightly illusionary quality to the situation. Moon in Capricorn eventually demands the details:
* What’s the bottom line?
* What does this actually cost?
* How does it really work?
Dream big—but eventually nail down the reality.
Thursday, April 9
Decision-making and priorities
Thursday brings strong energy for productivity.
The challenge may simply be too many options.
Think of it like standing in front of a buffet. Everything looks delicious—but if you pile your plate with everything, you end up overwhelmed.
Instead, choose what truly matters and focus your energy there.
Friday, April 10
Momentum and completion
By Friday the energy really starts moving.
Things that have been building throughout the week can finally gain traction. You may not complete everything, but the sense of forward motion can be very satisfying.
The Moon goes void at 6:24 p.m. Eastern and enters Aquarius at 7:55 p.m.
Friday evening is wonderful for:
* connecting with friends
* networking
* stimulating conversation
* sharing ideas
If you’ve used the week well, you can step into the evening feeling like mission accomplished.
Weekend: April 11–12
Moon in Aquarius
Saturday is ideal for community connections and meaningful conversations.
Aquarius energy loves exploring ideas, shared visions, and the bigger picture.
However, by Sunday the Moon makes its final connection in a square to Uranus in Taurus.
That means something unexpected could arise.
Sometimes it’s small: a plan shifts, someone drops out, or a detail was overlooked.
Other times it’s more obvious—like planning a whole gathering only to realize the restaurant is closed that day.
So the advice for this weekend is simple:
Enjoy the conversations.Build connections.Explore ideas.
Just stay flexible.
And as the saying goes—especially this close to Easter—don’t put all your eggs in one basket.

Libra Full Moon 2026
2026/03/29
Let’s talk about the energy for Monday, March 30th, 2026. Times are Eastern, so adjust for where you live or if you’re traveling.
We start the week with the Moon in Virgo, which sets a productive tone. Virgo is mutable earth, so while it’s grounded, it’s also flexible—open to edits, shifts, and adjustments. With the full moon approaching, these Virgo days give us a chance to make decisive tweaks, improve systems, and notice where something just isn’t working the way we hoped. This energy supports rolling up your sleeves, getting into the details, and being willing to shift your approach.
It always helps to know where the Moon is moving in your own chart, but even generally, Virgo encourages us to make things better—whether that’s tending a garden, organizing a project, or simply paying attention to what’s right in front of us. And now that we’re past the Mercury retrograde shadow, Monday and Tuesday can be especially productive.
Mid-afternoon Monday, just double-check communication—make sure what you’re sending is what people are receiving. Then early Tuesday morning, tempers can flare. Some folks may be cranky or quick to react. If you feel something bubbling inside you, slow down. If someone else is projecting it at you, try to cool the temperature rather than engage.
The Moon goes void of course Tuesday at 8:31 p.m., and enters Libra at 10:51 p.m. During a void, stick with what’s already in motion rather than starting something new.
Once the Moon moves into Libra, the tone shifts: more air, more talking, more pulling ideas back and forth. This is great for negotiation, collaboration, and aesthetic decisions. Libra wants to weigh options, hear different angles, and find a sense of balance.
That brings us into Wednesday and the Libra full moon on April 1st—April Fool’s Day, which always reminds me of my mother, an April-Fool Aries. This full moon is at 12 degrees Libra, and it’s very partnership-charged. It highlights choosing the right collaborator, the right ally, the person or place that’s truly aligned with what you want to build. Many of us may feel pulled toward multiple options, but the clarity comes from focusing your energy rather than scattering it.
Think of a presenter in a room of 50 people: you’re not trying to win everyone. You’re aiming your energy toward the people who are actually resonating. This full moon wants precision in connection.
Passover begins Wednesday at sundown—blessings to those who observe.
Thursday the 2nd is a full void-of-course moon day. It’s perfect for tending ongoing projects, reflection, therapy work, or simply going inward. We’re at the start of the waning moon cycle, so there’s a natural pull toward quieter, more intentional work.
On Friday, the Moon enters Scorpio at 8:11 a.m., just in time for Good Friday. Again, blessings to all who honor it. The Scorpio Moon stays with us through Easter Sunday. These holidays all share a theme of descent and renewal, and Scorpio echoes that. It’s the territory of release, transformation, and rebirth.
Friday evening may bring something up emotionally or psychologically, especially with the Moon squaring Pluto in Aquarius. It can feel like a wave of intensity—yours or someone else’s. Pluto transits can stir up places where we don’t feel in control. If you’re going through a longer Pluto transit—especially early-degree Aquarius, Taurus, Scorpio, or Leo—this day may feel especially strong.
The only way through Pluto energy is to surrender to the moment and move with it rather than against it. It’s like getting caught in a riptide: you can’t fight the current. You float, you ride it, and eventually you find your way back to solid ground.

Astrology Forecast: Week of March 23
2026/03/22
As we move into the final stretch of March, something important is shifting.
Last week’s equinox and Pisces new moon opened the door, and now the energy begins to move. Mercury is finally direct, which means conversations restart, decisions get made, and situations that felt stalled start gaining traction.
After a long stretch of watery Pisces energy—Neptune, Saturn, and all the emotional processing that came with it the past several years—we’re stepping into something very different.
Fire and air.
Movement. Ideas. Action.
For many people this week may feel like that moment when you’ve been standing still for a long time and suddenly realize you can start walking again.
A Personal Observation
I’ve been noticing something interesting in my own world.
Things that had been hovering in uncertainty are suddenly shifting. People are moving homes, changing roles, stepping away from long-standing projects, or launching new ones.
Some people are even asking a deeper question right now:
Am I up for the ride that’s coming?
Because the larger world is clearly entering a period of enormous change. Systems are shifting. Structures are being challenged. The ground is moving beneath many things we once assumed were stable.
And yet, something hopeful is happening at the same time.
While some people feel overwhelmed, others are quietly beginning to build new things—community projects, creative collaborations, cultural initiatives.
Small things, perhaps.
But those microcosms matter. They ripple outward.
The Energy of the Week
Early in the week the Gemini moon brings curiosity, conversation, and the chance to reconnect with people or ideas that stalled during Mercury retrograde.
Midweek, when the moon moves into Cancer, the energy becomes more grounded. It’s a moment for building something real—almost like the old folktale of Stone Soup, where everyone contributes a little piece and suddenly there’s a feast.
By the weekend the Leo moon arrives, and the mood brightens dramatically.
Leo reminds us to play.
Art. Music. Romance. Creativity. Laughter. All the things that remind us we’re alive.
After the heaviness many people have been carrying, that spark of joy may be exactly what’s needed.
Looking Ahead
Sunday’s Virgo moon helps us reset and organize for the week ahead.
The bigger theme, though, is clear:
The wheels are beginning to turn again.
And even if we can’t control the larger currents of the world, we can choose how we participate in them.
Often the most meaningful change begins in small circles—with friends, collaborators, neighbors, and communities.
That’s where new realities start.
And this week, the momentum begins.

Waning Moon Cycle / Jupiter Direct
2026/03/08
We are in a waning moon cycle, with Mercury retrograde and Jupiter retrograde—although Jupiter goes direct this week, so we will certainly talk about that… full forecast on the podcast…
This is also the week that precedes next week’s new moon, and we are still coming off the eclipse energy from the two eclipses we had in February. Even though eclipses reverberate for about five and a half months, this waning phase is a time to address what we want to wrap up, release, or bring to completion.
With Mercury retrograde, we can actually hasten the completion of things we don’t want to carry into the next lunar cycle. It’s a helpful mindset.
I was saying this to my husband at dinner. He was going on about how I hadn’t told him Mercury was retrograde. He’s leading a program right now, and there were misunderstandings in a meeting.
I told him, I do tell you. You just don’t always listen.
And that’s Mercury retrograde in a nutshell—communication and how we transmit ideas.
One thing he realized after that meeting is that even when you think you’re being clear, people may be operating on entirely different channels. They may not read attachments. They may not read past the first paragraph.
We’re living in a time where attention spans are fractured. People often don’t go beyond the subject line or the first couple of sentences of an email. That means the subject line becomes critically important. Sometimes it’s even more effective to send several short messages with different subject headings—Part 1, Part 2, Part 3—so people can process the information in smaller bites.
This Mercury retrograde period can be very helpful in understanding the world we’re living in: a world with magnified communication tools, yet less ability for people to fully absorb, process, research, and digest information because there is simply so much of it.
Monday, March 9 — Moon in Scorpio → Moon in Sagittarius
The Moon begins the day in Scorpio, which is always a powerful processing Moon—though not necessarily an easy one.
Some of us may wake up wanting to deeply understand something: to research it, chew on it, work it through. But the early morning carries a disruptive influence, and we may get derailed or pulled in another direction unexpectedly.
For early risers especially, something may suddenly demand your attention. Move carefully. If you’re moving quickly from one place to another, make sure the stove is turned off, the coffee maker is handled—simple things like that.
(All times given are Eastern Time, so adjust depending on where you live.)
We also just went through the daylight saving time shift, which can complicate things further during Mercury retrograde. Thankfully we have world clocks on our phones, but even those can occasionally be off depending on regional changes.
The Moon goes void of course at 7:28 AM, then enters Sagittarius at 11:37 AM.
During a void Moon, it’s best to finish things already in motion, organize your workspace, and prepare for the next phase. This is especially useful during Mercury retrograde—getting everything lined up before momentum returns.
Once the Moon enters Sagittarius, energy speeds up. People feel inspired and curious. They want to explore, debate, learn, and act on what excites them.
But by evening, tempers may run short. Passion can override diplomacy, and people may feel compelled to drive their point home—even when it’s not productive.
If you find yourself in a discussion with someone who has had a bit too much to drink, or someone who simply isn’t listening, remember Mercury retrograde. The same can apply internally—you may find yourself arguing with your own thoughts.
The key is to recognize where the frustration is coming from. If nothing can be done in the moment, define it, learn from it, and approach it more strategically later.
And if possible, aim for a good night’s sleep—though some people may feel quite energized late into the evening.
Tuesday, March 10 — Jupiter Stations Direct
The major event today is Jupiter stationing direct at 11:30 PM Eastern.
When a planet stations, it appears to pause in the sky from our perspective on Earth. This creates a kind of energetic pressure—like something building beneath the surface.
With Jupiter—the largest planet in our solar system—everything can feel bigger.
Emotions may feel amplified. Situations may feel difficult to define. People may become energized or reactive without fully understanding why.
Because of this, the most important advice for today is simple:
Think before you speak.
That’s always wise, but it becomes especially important during Mercury retrograde and during a planetary station. People may say things impulsively without realizing how their words will land.
If you feel strongly about something, try writing it down first. Articulate it privately before expressing it publicly. That can help you understand the intention and potential impact of what you’re saying.
On the receiving end, if someone says something that feels harsh or confusing, pause and try to understand what’s really being communicated before reacting.
Once Jupiter begins moving forward again in the coming days and weeks, it becomes much more supportive for initiating actions.
This is traditionally a favorable time to:
* make that cold call
* reach out to someone you’ve been wanting to meet
* launch a business
* list a property
* begin an expansion
Jupiter direct tends to favor the initiator.
Wednesday, March 11 — Last Quarter Moon | Moon Void All Day
The Moon goes void of course at 5:38 AM, marking the Last Quarter Moon of this waning cycle.
The Moon remains void all day.
This is generally not a day for starting new ventures, though the Sagittarius energy may still make people feel restless or action-oriented.
Instead, it’s a wonderful day for:
* reading
* researching
* brainstorming
* gathering information
You may not land on the final answer today, but you can cover a lot of ground.
It’s also an excellent day to spend time outdoors, move your body, hear stories, tell stories, and explore ideas. Think of it as clearing the ground before the real work begins.
Thursday, March 12 — Moon Enters Capricorn
The Moon enters Capricorn at 12:07 AM, shifting us into highly productive territory.
Even with Mercury retrograde, Capricorn energy helps us work methodically. We can review plans, refine strategies, and connect with people who truly understand the situation.
Some may feel a moment in the afternoon of realizing, Wow, I’m really on my own here.
But that clarity can be helpful. Sometimes we need that focused solitude to accomplish meaningful work.
This is a highly productive day, and momentum builds toward Friday.
Friday, March 13 — A Productive Flow
Friday brings strong energy for seeing the rewards of recent effort.
It’s a terrific day for tackling tasks that require discipline and focus. Even though we’re still in a waning Moon cycle and Mercury retrograde, this is a time when things can come together.
Certain professions actually thrive during retrogrades—especially those that involve research, investigation, or deep analytical work.
Retrogrades invite us to approach life from a deeper dimension—one that is intuitive, reflective, and inwardly aware.
But intuition works best when it’s conscious.
If you feel compelled to approach someone, start a conversation, or pursue a direction, take a moment to ask yourself:
Why am I drawn to this?
Understanding your motivations brings a deeper awareness to your choices and helps you move through situations with greater clarity.
Saturday, March 14 — Moon Enters Aquarius
The Moon goes void at 7:33 AM and enters Aquarius at 11:13 AM.
Aquarius energy pulls us outward toward community, conversation, and connection.
This can be a wonderful day for networking, exchanging ideas, and exploring possibilities—especially when you remember Mercury retrograde.
Ideas may come rapidly. Connections may feel exciting.
But try not to lock things down too rigidly. Contracts, firm commitments, or tightly scheduled plans may shift later.
That doesn’t mean the ideas are wrong—it just means they may evolve.
Sunday, March 15 — Moon in Aquarius
Sunday continues the Aquarius energy.
These can be wonderful days for spending time with like-minded people—or even with people who think quite differently but expand your perspective.
Community, conversation, and shared curiosity are highlighted.
Just keep Mercury retrograde in mind as ideas flow and connections form.
And overall, all will be well.

Lunar Eclipse, Virgo Full Moon 2026
2026/03/01
Last week I talked about the volatility stirred up by the waxing moon and February’s eclipse, and how important it is to stay focused on what you want to manifest. And of course, this weekend opened with another conflict between the U.S. and Iran. I’m not forecasting what will happen, but noting how seemingly hasty decisions were made during a very strategic energetic moment.
This week brings the partner eclipse—exact at 6:38 AM Eastern Time on March 3rd. Eclipse seasons heighten everything: impulses, revelations, sudden clarity. But they’re not ideal times for impulsive action.
With the Pisces Sun lighting up the Virgo Moon, this full moon lunar eclipse asks us to create balance, especially in relationships—any relationship: partner, family, coworkers, the barista, your pet. The real question is: How do I best serve here? Pisces gives us the impulse to help; Virgo asks how we’re actually going to do it.
Monday starts with the Moon in Leo opposing Mars, making the early hours volatile. Add the lunar separation from Uranus, and impulsive or aggressive energy is definitely in the air. Let inspiration simmer before acting, especially around people who are not thinking about anyone but themselves.
Mars enters Pisces mid-morning, shifting from Aquarian stridency to a softer but persistent “slow-drip” determination. Once the Moon enters Virgo, we move fully toward Tuesday’s eclipse—powerful energy for progress in relationships when we channel intention into grounded service.
Tuesday looks active, possibly bringing unexpected allies or surprising resolutions. Not an end to global conflict, but definitely the beginning of new alliances forming.
By Wednesday, Mercury retrograde becomes more obvious. The Moon goes void mid-morning before entering Libra. This is a time to finish what’s already in motion, organize the pieces, and notice what the eclipse stirred up. Late Wednesday may feel unclear or lacking information. Don’t commit—research, reassess, realign.
Thursday evening into Friday brings a long Libra void, and Venus entering Aries adds urgency while clarity remains elusive. Use the day for conversation and exploration, not decisions.
Once the Moon enters Scorpio late Friday, the weekend turns intense and deeply revealing. Scorpio energy wants to dig, discover, uncover. It can bring shocks, truths, or breakthroughs—often the kind we’ve been craving without realizing it.
Sometimes I don’t necessarily act out of bravery, but out of a desire strong enough to override fear. That’s the energy of this weekend. If you feel called toward something—healing, truth, a goal—you’ll likely follow it.

Astrology Week of February 23, 2026
2026/02/22
Monday – Moon in Taurus
Monday carries concentrated, slow-cooker energy. Something is forming beneath the surface.
This is internal work. Core work. Like food wrapped and buried in warm earth to transform slowly, your intentions need containment and patience. Breathe into what you’re building. Chew on the essentials.
Be slow to anger. Even a glance at the news could trigger frustration or helplessness. Instead of reacting outwardly, ask:
What am I really responding to?How can I channel this into constructive action?
The Moon goes void at 5:29 p.m. Eastern. During this pause, work on what’s already in motion. Don’t force outcomes. Restore yourself.
Taurus reminds us: comfort, beauty, and memory matter. Be conscious of the memories you allow to surface. Some nourish. Some drain. Choose the ones that strengthen you.
Tuesday – Moon in Gemini
The Moon enters Gemini at 9:21 p.m., shifting the tone into air and movement.
Now we sort. Thought to thought. Idea to idea. Flip the page on what isn’t useful. Keep what is.
Curiosity is your ally. Conversations, research, puzzles, writing—excellent outlets. Stay flexible. Adjust as needed.
Wednesday – Void Moon & Mercury Stations Retrograde
Mercury slows and stations retrograde late Wednesday night/early Thursday (1:48 a.m. Eastern).
As Mercury appears to pause in the sky, so should we.
Old memories may resurface. Unfinished business may knock. Instead of asking, “Why is this coming up again?” try asking, “What new perspective can I bring to this?”
Retrogrades are for revisiting, reframing, reconsidering. They are not punishments—they are recalibrations.
Wednesday evening’s long Gemini void Moon is ideal for unplugging. Step away from devices. Read. Reflect. Let your mind quiet before the reboot.
Build in extra time. Loosen schedules. Give space for delays. Deep listening matters more than quick responses.
Thursday & Friday – Moon in Cancer
The Moon enters Cancer at 12:11 a.m. Thursday.
Now the energy softens.
These are receptive days. Creative days. Productive in a quieter, more intuitive way. Excellent for writing, artistic work, meaningful conversations, or planning what comes next.
Opportunities may surface—new contacts, supportive alliances, financial prospects. Be open. You don’t necessarily need to sign on the dotted line during Mercury retrograde, but pay attention to what’s being offered.
Midweek through Friday morning, Mars squares Uranus. This brings speed and volatility. Things can shift quickly.
Keep your hands on the wheel.Fasten your seatbelt.
Momentum can be exhilarating—but stay aware.
The Moon goes void late Friday night at 11:21 p.m.
Saturday & Sunday – Moon in Leo
The Moon enters Leo at 3:17 a.m. Saturday.
Now passion rises.
This can be a vibrant, expressive weekend—creative, social, even glamorous. Leo brings inspiration and heart.
Saturday may surface control themes—either from others or from your own inner critic. Notice what is real and what is an old narrative. Choose consciously.
By Sunday, energy stabilizes.
This is not necessarily a weekend to launch something entirely new, but it is excellent for strengthening projects already in motion. Stoke the fire you’ve been tending all week.
We are preparing for next week’s lunar eclipse.
What you concentrate on now—gently, steadily—can sustain you for months ahead.
Pace yourself.Stay conscious.Tend the flame.

Week of February 16–22, 2026
2026/02/22
This is a pivotal week. We have the solar eclipse new moon, the Saturn–Neptune conjunction at 0° Aries, and the energetic ignition of 2026. It’s fast-moving, highly charged, and — importantly — supported.
Monday, February 16 — Dark of the Moon (Aquarius)
The Moon is in Aquarius and waning toward Tuesday’s eclipse. This is reflective space.
Focus on what you’re ready to bring to birth — and equally, what you are ready to complete. This eclipse belongs to a Saros cycle last seen in 2008. Think back. There may be an echo, though the planetary backdrop is very different now.
Midday (Eastern time), energy may spike. Mars in Aquarius can bring frustration, especially around not being heard or understood. If irritation rises, pause. Mars is fuel. Channel it consciously.
This is a day to decide:What am I no longer feeding? What am I preparing to initiate?
The fog begins to burn off.
Tuesday, February 17 — Solar Eclipse New Moon (7:01 a.m. ET)
Eclipse at 28°50’ Aquarius.
Eclipses deliver information. Sometimes like a strobe light — a flash that grabs your attention. Pay attention to dreams, symbols, overheard phrases. Something may land personally.
After the eclipse, the Moon is briefly void-of-course — finish, clear, organize.
At 9:09 a.m. ET, the Moon enters Pisces. Gently test new waters. Feel into what you are beginning rather than forcing it.
This eclipse also aligns with the Lunar New Year (Fire Horse), Mardi Gras, and the beginning of Ramadan. Sacred timing. Amplified.
Wednesday, February 18 — Energy Gels (Pisces Moon)
Now the Sun and Moon are both in Pisces. Things begin to soften and come together.
Midday into early afternoon brings a supportive Moon–Jupiter connection. Possibilities expand. Intuition strengthens.
This is a beautiful window for meditation, creative visioning, and listening deeply. Guard your discernment. Don’t outsource your inner knowing to noise or fear.
Thursday, February 19 — Void to Aries Fire
Moon void-of-course: 10:23 a.m.–2:39 p.m. ET.Take your time. Double-check details. Avoid major launches during the void if possible.
At 2:39 p.m., the Moon enters Aries — and momentum returns.
From late Thursday through Friday, productivity surges. Especially strong for fire and air placements (Sun, Moon, rising).
Friday, February 20 — Saturn Conjunct Neptune (0° Aries)
A major cycle resets. This conjunction happens roughly every 36 years — think 1989, when the Berlin Wall fell. Dissolution and rebuilding.
At 0° Aries, this touches the world axis. It’s personal and collective.
Something is eroding. Something else must be constructed.
Evening into the early hours of Saturday is especially dynamic. Opportunity is present — but it requires maturity, clarity, and willingness to act.
This is imprint energy.
Saturday, February 21 — Long Void, Strategic Reset
Moon void-of-course: 6:11 a.m.–6:31 p.m. ET.Excellent for healing, planning, strategizing — not forcing.
When the Moon enters Taurus in the evening, the focus shifts to grounding and stabilizing. You may feel resistance. Notice where attachment or comfort is holding you back.
Security sometimes requires leaving the familiar.
Sunday, February 22 — Taurus Grounding
A tremendous day for practical action. Build. Plant. Organize. Invest energy where you want growth.
If you want something new, you have to put your hands in the dirt. Do the work.
This week moves fast. But the aspects are largely supportive. For those ready to initiate, there is smooth forward motion available.
Fasten your seatbelt — and keep your eyes open.

Astrology, Week of February 9, 2026
2026/02/08
Fire Horse Energy, Bad Bunny, and the Collective Pulse
How about that Super Bowl? And more importantly—how about that Bad Bunny?
I’ll be writing more about Bad Bunny and his (I believe) Pisces New Moon chart. The timing is interesting, as I’m also releasing my 2026 Fire Horse forecast later this week. In it, I talk about the eclipses that kick off this Fire Horse year—February 17, followed by March 3.
This is energy that ignites the collective. It inspires, agitates, and polarizes. For some, it’s uncomfortable. For others, it sparks connection, acceptance, and a deeper sense of shared humanity.
Music plays a powerful role here. It’s one of our most universal languages.
I’m historically a visual artist. I love art in all forms, but I never had musical aptitude beyond appreciation. Still, sound’s ability to uplift, connect, and promote empathy doesn’t require language. Opera is a perfect example. You don’t need to understand Italian or German—what matters is the movement, the emotion, the passion.
Bad Bunny taps into that same current. If you take the time to interpret his lyrics, you hear themes of love, connection, injustice, and pride—shared human experiences that transcend borders.
Anyway… my Bad Bunny tangent.
Monday, February 9: Scorpio Moon Reckonings
On Monday, the Sun and Moon are both in Scorpio, just as they were during the Super Bowl. This stirs passion—positive and negative—and we’re still in that emotional arc as the Moon moves toward a square with Venus.
I don’t expect peace and love to suddenly reign after a showcase of talent staged within a culture centered on competition and collision. With the Scorpio Moon, controversy and polarity continue—around the weekend’s events and what’s unfolding globally.
This is roiling emotional energy. It’s a powerful time to look at finances and resources with a clear, critical lens. What’s working? What isn’t? Are your investments—financial or energetic—aligned with what you truly value?
If you’re riding a wave, ask yourself: Do I actually believe in what I’m supporting? As we continue questioning how money is magnified and where it flows, we’ll see ongoing economic shifts throughout the year.
Monday is intense. Choose company that allows for mutual understanding. If you encounter push–pull dynamics, notice what’s being asked of you emotionally.
With the Scorpio Moon squaring Venus, the question becomes: Are your needs for comfort and emotional safety aligned with your values, desires, and sense of self-worth?
For some, this balance comes easily. For others, there’s conflict—wanting one thing but feeling it comes at the cost of another. This can be a day of reckoning rather than crisis.
A simple example: a friend wants you to spend money you don’t feel comfortable spending. Do you accommodate—or do you speak your truth and suggest an alternative? These moments require honesty with yourself and with others.
Tuesday–Wednesday, February 10–11: Fire, Momentum, and Misalignment
The Moon enters Sagittarius early Tuesday morning (2:22 a.m. ET), shifting the tone dramatically. Sagittarius energy is fast, fiery, optimistic, and enthusiastic.
Ideas flow. Motivation spikes. The desire to move forward intensifies.
The key caution while the Moon is in Sagittarius—through Thursday—is communication. Excitement can outpace clarity. Make sure what you say is actually understood. Ask people to reflect back what they heard.
By Wednesday, some may feel unsupported or realize they assumed backing that isn’t there. If you’re moving forward on passion alone, ask yourself: Do I have the resources, the players, the time?
Sometimes you can act solo—but only if you recognize that’s what you’re doing. Assuming support can lead to frustration.
Also be realistic: illness, weather extremes, and unexpected disruptions are common this time of year. Exuberance may need to yield to practicality.
Remember, we’re in a waning Moon cycle. This week is better for finishing, clearing, and preparing than launching something brand new.
Thursday–Friday, February 12–13: Capricorn Brings It Home
The Moon goes void of course at 2:29 p.m. Thursday, then enters Capricorn at 2:44 p.m.
Capricorn shifts us into grounded, productive momentum. This is energy that finishes, completes, and problem-solves. If something isn’t working, Capricorn doesn’t lament—it adjusts.
While it’s not ideal to initiate major projects in a waning cycle, life happens. Contracts finalize. Opportunities arise. Awareness is what makes the difference.
Friday the 13th carries surprisingly supportive energy—possibly a lot at once. Momentum builds quickly, helping things come together. Saturn returns to Aries where it will travel through 4/12/2028. It ignites more of the fire of 2026.
The weekend is excellent for planning, organizing, and envisioning what you want to launch in the next lunar cycle.
Valentine’s Weekend: Friendship, Tangibility, and Love
We’re now in a One Year. 2025 was a Nine Year—the year of the Snake shedding skins. This is new ground.
I didn’t rush into forecasting this shift earlier. That in-between space—between the solar calendar and the lunar year—is one I like to inhabit quietly. As an Aquarius, I move to my own rhythm.
The sweet spot begins Friday night around 10:30 p.m. and flows into Valentine’s Day. The Moon remains in Capricorn, making tangible expressions of affection especially meaningful.
One thing I love about living in Mexico is that Valentine’s Day isn’t only romantic—it honors friendship and connection. That feels perfectly aligned with Aquarius season, which centers community and chosen family.
Capricorn reminds us that love lives in the physical world: phone calls instead of texts, shared meals, walks, small gestures that say I see you.
As Stevie Wonder sang: I just called to say I love you.
The Moon goes void of course at 8:31 p.m. in Aquarius, offering a gentle container for reflection—on love given, love received, and love that continues in memory.
Sunday: Dark of Moon Prep for Upcoming Eclipse
The Moon enters Aquarius at 1:17 AM ET. Pay attention to triggers and unexpected thoughts or situations. This is a day to release and prepare for the next lunar cycle.

Uranus Direct: Expect the Unexpected
2026/02/01
February 2nd: Imbolc and the Mid-Season Threshold
Today is February 2nd, a day associated with Imbolc in earth-based religions, paganism, and Wicca—and, culturally, with Groundhog Day. This is largely a northern-hemisphere moment, marking the midpoint between winter and spring.
Traditionally, it’s tied to sheep shearing and the first signs of thaw. Even in deep cold, there are subtle signals of change: shifts in light, color in the sky, and the feeling that something is beginning to move.
We’re also in Aquarius season, a fixed sign that sustains the season and holds us in this in-between space.
The Moon in Leo: Energy, Expression, and Intensity (Monday)
On Monday the 2nd, the Moon is in Leo, a fixed fire sign. This can feel energizing and motivating, especially for air and fire signs. People often feel more expressive, confident, and ready to act.
At the same time, this energy can amplify drama or strong emotional displays. Everything feels highlighted—opinions, emotions, and creative expression can all come through louder than usual.
Moon Square Uranus: Sudden Shifts and Unpredictability
As the Moon moves through Leo, it approaches a square to Uranus, the planet of change and disruption. Uranus brings unpredictability. Things can turn quickly—plans shift, information arrives suddenly, or something unexpected redirects the day.
Uranus is currently at a late degree of Taurus, a fixed earth sign, and this has a “standing at the ledge” quality. I often think of this as Fool-card energy in the Tarot: a moment filled with possibility, but one that asks for awareness.
The message here isn’t fear—it’s preparedness. Keep your eyes open. Be flexible. Let instincts, and the small warning signs around you, guide your next step.
Void of Course Moon: Don’t Push the Outcome
The Moon goes void of course at 5:55 p.m. Monday and enters Virgo at 10:21 p.m. During this void period, it’s best not to initiate things you’re deeply invested in.
This is a good time for:
* finishing ongoing tasks
* organizing and clearing space
* sending things off without expectation
* resting and recharging
The key is not overextending.
The Moon in Virgo: Focus, Systems, and Results
Once the Moon enters Virgo, the energy becomes practical and task-oriented. This is a strong period for focusing, refining, and getting results—especially through routines and systems.
Virgo energy asks: What supports me? What helps me feel capable and effective? If something feels missing—backup, structure, or guidance—this is the time to identify it and put it in place.
Uranus Goes Direct: A Shift in Force (Tuesday)
On Tuesday the 3rd, Uranus stations direct at 9:33 p.m. When Uranus changes direction, something often shifts—internally or externally.
Because Uranus is in Taurus, this can show up as earth-related events, physical disruptions, or collective movements that demand attention. On a personal level, it can feel like a sudden realization or a call to act differently.
If you’re involved in activism, organizing, or public expression, preparation matters. Know your plan, your people, and your routes. Astrology offers information so we can respond consciously, not react blindly.
The Virgo Moon: Empowerment Through Routine and Support
The Virgo Moon lasts through early Thursday, emphasizing the importance of systems, partnerships, and self-care. If feelings of isolation or disempowerment arise, they’re signals—not failures.
This is a powerful time to ask:
* What routines help me thrive?
* Where do I contribute meaningfully?
* What kind of support do I need—and offer?
The Moon in Libra: Connection and Communication (Thursday–Friday)
The Moon enters Libra early Thursday morning, shifting the tone. Communication becomes easier. Requests are answered. Collaboration feels more natural.
Thursday and Friday are strong days for diplomacy, mediation, and bringing things together. Feedback may highlight where communication can improve, but this information is useful—it helps refine your message and strengthen outcomes.
If you’ve clarified your priorities in advance, Friday can be especially productive for agreements, connections, and mutual understanding.
Void of Course Libra Moon: Softening the Pace (Saturday Morning)
The Moon goes void of course at 6:59 a.m. Saturday before entering Scorpio at 2:13 p.m. Those morning hours are best used gently—no pushing, no forcing. Drifting, chatting, and resting are well supported.
The Moon in Scorpio: Depth, Focus, and Resolution (Weekend)
From Saturday afternoon through Sunday, the Moon in Scorpio brings intensity and focus. This is a strong time for research, deep conversations, financial matters, and working through complex emotional or practical issues.
It may not feel light, but it can be deeply productive—especially for understanding unmet needs and finding more honest ways to express yourself.

Aries Neptune / Leo Full Moon 2026
2026/01/25
Overview
I’m recording this the weekend before the January 26th forecast, right after Mars entered Aquarius and news broke about the murder of Alex Pretti in Minneapolis. We’re living inside a Mars–Pluto ignition point—force, power, confrontation—and it’s already escalating. What we’re seeing collectively reflects the deeper psychological and astrological story: Mars (desire, anger, assertion) meeting Pluto (the underworld, power, shadow, unconscious).
This week asks each of us: How do I work with this? How do I channel what’s rising without letting it consume me?
Monday, Jan 26
Moon in TaurusJupiter–Moon InfluenceNeptune moves into Aries
The Moon in Taurus gives us a grounded way to ask: What am I building? What do I value enough to voice? Taurus rules the throat. Mars in Aquarius wants expression with direction. This combination says: use your voice, name what matters, define your values.
Jupiter magnifies whatever it touches today, so amplify gratitude—freedom, shelter, work, dignity. Gratitude strengthens the muscles for kindness and human connection, especially in a time of so much brutality.
The big shift today: Neptune enters Aries. Out of Pisces’ fog and into fire. Neptune in Aries awakens the spiritual warrior. After years of confusion and dissolved boundaries, we now see passion and purpose rising. And yes, as I record this, an ice storm rages across the country—an eerie mirror for the “ice” of authority behaving without accountability.
Tuesday, Jan 27
Moon enters Gemini at 3:55 p.m. ETMars–Pluto exact conjunction
This is the ignition point. Messages fly fast and sharp. Gemini adds air to Aquarius’ air, fanning the flames. Multiple perspectives, multiple truths, but all with an edge of urgency.
Expect strong declarations—both publicly and personally. This is the moment people say, “Enough.” You’ll see pushback against authority, institutions, and any structure behaving like it’s untouchable.
Use the energy consciously: write, speak, connect, articulate what’s been stuck inside you. Mars–Pluto doesn’t whisper. It erupts. Better to direct it than be steamrolled by it.
Wednesday, Jan 28
Moon in Gemini
The air-fire dynamic continues. Calculated chaos is the theme—not just in the news but in our internal emotional weather. Authorities may escalate to justify harsher control. People react, and the reaction is used as fuel. This is a strategy.
But for the conscious person, this same force can be a creative engine: conversations, writing, brave communications, truth-telling. Today is about taking action through the mind and through the voice.
Thursday, Jan 29
Void Moon 2:57 p.m. ET → Moon enters Cancer 5:32 p.m. ET
During the void period: stick to ongoing tasks. Nothing new has glue.
When the Moon slips into Cancer: the emotional body wakes up. At first, you may question your direction—second-guessing, discomfort, or someone else challenging your choices. Sit with it. Vet it. If it matters to you, commit.
Cancer helps you follow through with heart and intuition. This is the energy of protecting what matters and nurturing what you’ve started.
Friday, Jan 30
Moon in Cancer
This is a super-positive day for connection, community, collaboration, and emotional alignment. Despite the outer-world chaos, today supports genuine bonding and finding the right people to help carry your work to the next stage.
Excellent for social exchanges, teamwork, and strengthening your foundations—personal or professional.
Saturday, Jan 31
Void Moon 4:52 p.m. ET → Moon enters Leo 7:09 p.m. ET
From Thursday night through late afternoon today: wonderful Waxing Moon momentum. Creativity, love, community, and the building of something meaningful all get a green light.
You may not hit the long-term finish line yet, but you can feel genuine satisfaction with your progress.
When the Moon enters Leo tonight: play, entertainment, music, shows, joy. Let yourself enjoy something. It feeds your fire.
Sunday, Feb 1
Full Moon in Leo at 5:09 p.m. ETOpposite Sun, Pluto, Mars in Aquarius
This is a big, charismatic full Moon—dramatic, creative, larger-than-life. But with three planets opposing it, it has a jack-in-the-box unpredictability. Be conscious of where you are and who you’re with today.
Don’t get swept up in theatrics or ego storms. Channel the creativity, the courage, the heart. A Leo full Moon asks: Who is your audience? Who are you trying to reach? Speak to them directly.

Saturn, Uranus and Calculated Change
2026/01/18
January 19, 2026 — Aquarius,
January 19th, 2026.This is the day to honor the memory of Martin Luther King Jr. in the United States. I say that with the understanding that holidays are being changed to suit the whims of the current governmental administration.
Still, for many people, Monday, January 19th, remains a day of honor and recognition.
We are in a waxing Moon cycle, with the Moon in Aquarius—an especially fitting placement for a man whose legacy centered on peaceful civil disobedience in the name of equality for all human beings.
Aquarius and the Myth of Sudden Change
What’s notable about this day, astrologically, is Aquarius itself.
Traditionally, Aquarius is ruled by Saturn—something many people forget in modern astrology. Uranus, discovered later, eventually became associated with Aquarius as well.
Uranus was discovered during the era of the French and American revolutions, alongside electricity—symbolizing freedom, disruption, and sudden change. That energy resonates strongly with Aquarius. Aquarians, or those with strong Aquarius signatures, are often individuals who don’t do things the conventional way and who feel compelled to express their uniqueness.
Since I am an Aquarius, with a strong Aquarian imprint in my chart, I have a theory as to why Saturn deserves just as much—if not more—consideration than Uranus.
Aquarius is a fixed sign, occurring in the middle of the season and sustaining it, even as climate change disrupts our expectations. There is a frozen quality here.
What can look like sudden movement is often the result of long, methodical consideration.
When an Aquarian acts in a way that surprises others, they are not surprised; they know why they’re doing what they’re doing.
Saturn and Uranus Working Together
Looking at Monday the 19th, we see a buildup of energy.
As the Moon moves through Aquarius into Tuesday, it forms a square to Uranus. At the same time, Saturn in late Pisces and Uranus in late Taurus are in a harmonious aspect.
These forces may seem opposed, but they are working together.
Yes, Saturn is associated with structure and authority, and Uranus with disruption. Together, they generate a synergy that becomes active as the Sun enters Aquarius on the 19th.
This week unfolds on the heels of the recent New Moon and speaks directly to how forces collaborate to create change.
Calculated Chaos and the New Moon
As you work with what you want to bring into form during this lunar cycle, consider what I’d call calculated chaos.
How do you shake things up just enough to methodically move your plans forward?
Think of it like planting a garden in winter. The soil may be frozen, but the first step is still breaking up the ground. The earth needs to be worked so it can accept seeds, water, and air.
In the early stages of New Moon energy, clarity of intention matters more than visible results.
Habits, Rewards, and Staying the Course
I’ve been reading about habits—how they form, and how sustainable change actually happens.
A habit needs to fit your lifestyle. You also need to know why you’re doing it. But perhaps most important is the reward.
At first, that reward may be external. Over time, it becomes internal.
If the goal isn’t immediately visible, how do you still reward yourself for showing up? For putting one foot in front of the other?
With the Moon in Aquarius and Uranus active, there may need to be something tangible that reinforces the behavior you’re cultivating.
We’re living in times where certain goals are actively being obstructed. Sometimes progress requires subtlety. It can feel like nothing is happening, even when it is.
Regular meditation—aimed toward a more whole, sustainable world—is one of the most powerful practices right now.
Aquarian energy often works quietly and methodically before it becomes visible. What surprises others has usually been unfolding for quite some time.
Tuesday’s Wake-Up Call
Monday looks like a strong creative day and a powerful moment to engage with agents of change. A supportive Mars–Uranus influence adds momentum.
This continues into Tuesday, when the Moon squares Uranus at 9:16 p.m. Eastern.
Something unexpected may arise.
If you are the conscious agent of change, this may feel like a sudden insight or opening rather than chaos. With Uranus, awareness of your response matters more than the event itself.
Pisces Moon: Expansion Without Escape
The Moon enters Pisces early Wednesday morning, bringing a softer, more receptive energy.
These days support listening, imagining, and opening to new possibilities—whether through creativity, income streams, or a renewed sense of meaning.
I’ve become more aware lately of how cold weather causes us to compress—shrinking the ribcage, breathing less deeply. This physical contraction mirrors emotional and energetic contraction.
Opening the body, elongating the spine, and breathing fully are acts of resilience.
Pisces’ traditional ruler is Jupiter. Neptune came later, but Jupiter still matters. Jupiter brings expansion, optimism, and growth—with discernment.
We want to engage with the world in ways that feel invigorating and beautiful, not reckless.
Finding Beauty Where We Felt Limited
I learned this living in the snow belt as a young person.
Once I learned how to protect my body, I discovered how to enjoy winter—eventually through cross-country skiing. What once felt hostile became something I could move through with confidence.
Between the 21st and 23rd, many people may feel disempowered or overwhelmed by fear-based messaging.
I invite you during these days to reach out—to explore connection and community, even if it feels tentative.
The Moon in Pisces eventually aligns with Neptune. This energy can promote escapism and victimhood—or deep empathy, art, music, and understanding.
As Neptune prepares to move into Aries, much illusion will begin to burn off.
Rewriting the Story
Habits matter.
What we consume—substances, media, stories—shapes identity. Many of us live inside narratives that feel fixed but are actually malleable.
Conscious reflection allows us to ask:Who am I now?Who am I becoming?
Aries Momentum and Taurus Grounding
The Moon enters Aries Friday morning, bringing a burst of momentum.
Friday is fast, fueled, and productive. Know your priorities, or distractions will multiply. Use Friday into Saturday afternoon to complete what matters most.
After Saturday late afternoon, energy winds down. Let things wrap naturally.
The Moon enters Taurus Sunday afternoon. Sunday morning, don’t push.
Once the Moon is in Taurus, observe what tends to get in your way—logistics, conversations, missing resources—and plan accordingly.
Sunday doesn’t need to be busy. It can be contemplative.
Because when Monday arrives, you’ll be ready to move forward with intention and steadiness.

Capricorn New Moon 2026
2026/01/11
A Note to Begin
This week opens with a deep sense of reflection. Many of us have been moving through grief, shock, or emotional heaviness—collectively and personally. Astrology doesn’t eliminate difficulty, but it helps us understand where we are and how to navigate it with awareness and connection. As we move toward the New Moon in Capricorn, we’re finishing a long cycle and preparing for new beginnings.
MONDAY, JAN 12 — Moon in Scorpio
A powerful day for emotional and spiritual insight.Instead of resisting uncomfortable feelings or unfamiliar territory, try moving gently toward them. Connection—inner or outer—begins with presence. Meditation, intention, or simply sending love toward someone you feel distant from can open pathways.
TUESDAY, JAN 13 — Epiphanies + Void Moon
The potential for soulful connection continues. The Moon goes void of course at 5:59 p.m. ET—a short reflective window. Use it to pause, breathe, and acknowledge the fragility and preciousness of life.
At 6:34 p.m. ET, the Moon shifts into Sagittarius, setting the tone for two active, dynamic days.
WEDNESDAY, JAN 14 — Grounded in Your Truth
Sagittarius energy brings movement, conversation, and the potential for confusion or mixed signals.Stay clear about your intentions. There may be “smoke and mirrors,” but staying present and physically active helps clear your mind.
THURSDAY, JAN 15 — Pushback or Uncertainty
By evening, you may feel like things are uphill or that people you counted on aren’t showing up.Keep doing your part. Stay focused on your vision and don’t get discouraged by others’ inconsistencies.
FRIDAY, JAN 16 — Moon Enters Capricorn
The Moon is void at 6:19 a.m., then enters Capricorn at 6:47 a.m.We enter the Dark of the Moon, the final clearing-out before Sunday’s New Moon.Finish what needs finishing. Tie up loose ends. Ground yourself.
SATURDAY, JAN 17 — Flashes of Insight
Sudden realizations or seductive “do this now” impulses may hit.Hold them lightly. We’re still in the Dark Moon, so this is a time for consideration, not impulsive action. Add new ideas to your future agenda rather than jumping immediately.
SUNDAY, JAN 18 — New Moon in Capricorn
A powerful New Moon charged with purpose and potential.Sun, Moon, Mercury, and Mars all cluster in Capricorn, with Venus and Pluto close by in Aquarius. This stellium emphasizes:
* Commitment
* Structure
* Authority (personal and collective)
* Building what truly matters
The tension with Cancer–Leo reminds us that home, family, creativity, and heart must stay at the center of all we build.
This New Moon urges us to claim our personal authority and not shrink in the face of larger forces. Strengthen your foundation. Care for your microcosm—your home, your loved ones, your inner life. From that place, you contribute to humanity as a whole.

First Week of January 2026 - Astrology
2026/01/04
The Ground Is Shifting
Last week I spoke about how the ground is shifting, and how, as we enter this new year and this one-energy cycle, it’s essential to look honestly at the reality we want to create. Across the planet, realities are being created—or imposed—by those in power, and all of us are affected by that.
So the question becomes: how do we work with what’s in front of us while still holding a vision of what we want to build this year, as we begin the longer arc of the next nine? Are we willing to engage the deeper promise of Pluto in Aquarius as we move into this year of fire and air—energy that asks for dynamic action?
Holding the Vision
People will take action in many different ways this year. What matters is having a map, a plan, or at least a guiding vision—even if it’s abstract. It’s about maintaining a sense of what you want to bring into form, and how you want your world to feel.
And your world ripples outward. It affects everyone around you.
I’ll be offering a broader forecast for the year soon, though I’ll say this week itself isn’t the easiest. What is clear is that a strong cluster of energy is forming around what you want to produce and how invested you are in that effort. If there’s a part of you that wants to shine and be built upon, it deserves reinforcement.
The key will be your willingness to engage both opportunities and challenges as they arise—because that’s how the vision truly unfolds.
Action vs. Fear
Some of you may feel that your only wish right now is to feel safe and relatively secure. That, too, is a valid vision. What matters is approaching it from action rather than fear.
Fear, anxiety, and worry are human. The work isn’t to deny those feelings—it’s not to get stuck inside them. They are experiences, not identities. They deserve attention and care, but they are meant to move and transform.
This week invites us to examine how attached we may be to identities rooted in inertia, and whether we’re willing to let something shift.
Monday–Tuesday: Emotion, Expression, and Information Gaps
On January 5th, with the Moon in Leo, many people will want to express how they’re feeling—about the world, about their lives, about what they see unfolding. This can be a dramatic, emotionally charged day.
Fire energy is charismatic and compelling, but it asks a question: are you feeding the fire, or using it to warm and mobilize yourself?
Because we’re still in a waning Moon cycle, it’s important to remember that we don’t yet have all the information. Monday is better for finishing things than launching something entirely new. You may feel ready to act, but pivots are likely as more details emerge.
On the 6th, the Moon goes void-of-course in the morning, reinforcing the need to slow down and work with what’s already underway.
Midweek: Alignment, Feedback, and Refinement
As Venus aligns with the Sun and then Mars, a powerful focus develops around value, desire, effort, and outcome. By Friday, these planets oppose Jupiter, highlighting growth and opportunity—but also reminding us not to get locked into assumptions too early.
Hard work matters, but so does understanding how something is being received. Are you working in a vacuum, or are you letting feedback refine what you’re building?
This is a strong week for checking in, especially with collaborators. Make sure expectations, timelines, and responsibilities are clearly shared. Missed details or assumptions can cause friction if they’re not addressed early.
Once the Moon enters Virgo on the 6th, productivity can be very high through Wednesday. This is excellent energy for focused, practical work.
Thursday–Friday: Perspective and Balance
Thursday evening brings a tonal shift as the Moon enters Libra, softening the week’s intensity. This energy favors diplomacy, aesthetics, and cooperation. It’s a good time to reconnect, beautify your space, or have conversations that restore balance.
Friday highlights the importance of perspective. Another viewpoint—even one you initially resist—may actually strengthen your position. Libra energy doesn’t argue for the sake of it; it offers contrast so clarity can emerge.
Be mindful of communication glitches Friday evening. Listen carefully and don’t assume agreement without checking in.
The Weekend: Choosing Your Battles
Saturday morning can feel edgy, especially if someone is rigidly attached to a particular outcome. Before engaging in conflict, ask yourself whether it’s truly worth the energy it will require.
After the Moon enters Scorpio early Sunday, we move into the final phase of the waning Moon cycle. This is where deeper decisions are made—about what stays, what goes, and what we are truly ready to leave behind as we prepare for the next lunar cycle and the fuller momentum of this year.
