San Jose Barracuda forward Oliver Wahlstrom tallied three assists and four different Barracuda skaters scored a goal in the team's Calder Cup Playoff opener, but San Jose ultimately was defeated in overtime by the the Henderson Silver Knights, 5-4, in Game One of the First Round of the American Hockey League Calder Cup Playoffs at Lee's Family Forum.

The San Jose Barracuda (39-25-4) surrendered a season-high nine goals, falling 9–6 to the Henderson Silver Knights (36-20-11) at Lee’s Family Forum on Friday night. With the loss, the Barracuda have now dropped seven of their last eight and sit three points behind the Knights in the Pacific Division.

Quentin Musty finished with a game-high four points (two goals, two assists), while Colin White (one goal, two assists), Egor Afanasyev (one goal, one assist), and Filip Bystedt (one goal, one assist) also recorded multi-point performances.

The San Jose Barracuda (37-18-2-2) fell behind in the first period on Saturday night, but reeled off the final four goals en route to 4–1 win over the Abbotsford Canucks (22-35-3-3) at a soldout Tech CU Arena.

The San Jose Barracuda (35-18-2-2) erased an early deficit but ultimately fell 5–4 to the Tucson Roadrunners (27-23-9-0) on Sunday night at the Tucson Arena. Despite outshooting Tucson 48–22, the Barracuda surrendered three early third-period goals as the Roadrunners completed the weekend sweep.

The San Jose Barracuda (34-16-2-2) scored three times in the second period and went on to defeat the San Diego Gulls (25-18-8-4), 4-1, on Wednesday night at Tech CU Arena. With the win, the Barracuda have now won four in a row, including four straight against Anaheim’s affiliate.

The two-goal comeback marked the team’s third two-goal rally in the last five games and its 22nd comeback victory of the year.

The San Jose Barracuda (30-15-2-2) defeated the Calgary Wranglers (19-22-10-2), 4-2, on Wednesday night at Scotiabank Saddledome, earning their second straight win in Calgary. With the victory, the Barracuda wrapped up the season-series with the Flames’ affiliate going 7-0-1-0 and 4-0 on the road.
