2 Peter 1:1-11 teaches that God’s divine power has given us everything we need to live a godly life. However, must make every effort to grow spiritually as disciples of Jesus to be effective, keep from stumbling, and to receive a rich welcome into Heaven.

Jesus teaches about a son who demanded his inheritance and squandered it. When he came to his senses, he returned home to be a servant, but his father received him as his son. In this we see a beautiful picture of our heavenly Father who always welcomes His repentant children back into his kingdom family.

Are you carrying heavy worries or trying to fight life’s battles in your own strength? Join us this weekend as we dive into 1 Peter 5 for “The Heart of a Shepherd” and discover what it means to cast our anxieties onto God’s mighty hand and rest in His restoring grace.

In this week’s message, Jesus gives some very strong warnings about the cost of following Him. Then He’ll use two different parables to show us how excited and joyful heaven gets when a lost person returns to God. We’ll also learn that if we want to be one of His true disciples, we must be willing to "lose" our old way of life.

In this message from 1 Peter 4:12-19 we will study how we can “suffer with hope” learning from the example of Jesus. Our Christian life is not immune from suffering and God can use it to help refine us to become more like Christ. We will learn that trials are tests to reveal our hearts and opportunities for others to see God in us.

In this short teaching we will explore what does the Bible say about the “laying on of hands”. We will have an extended time for elders, pastors, and ministry leaders to pray over individuals or couples for miracles, healings, Holy Spirit empowerment, or other various needs.

What if God could use the hardest seasons of your life to deepen your faith and open your eyes to His work? Join us as we look at Peter’s story and discover how Jesus meets us in our weakness, restores us after failure, and prepares us to encourage others.

The first half of Luke chapter 14 covers two parables: one about modeling the humility of Jesus and the other about people making excuses not to attend a banquet. We know that the road to hell is paved with good intentions that keep people from entering the Kingdom of God.

In our teaching this weekend, Peter calls believers to leave behind the old life of sin and live with spiritual clarity, fervent love, and faithful service. As Peter reminds us that the end of all things is near, this teaching will challenge us to embrace the mind of Christ and live in a way that brings glory to God through Jesus Christ.

This week’s message is full of strong warnings. First, Jesus will warn us to watch for ungodly infiltrators within the church. Then He will warn us that the pathway to Heaven is narrow and difficult, not an easily accessed superhighway like the world claims. Jesus ends by reminding us we have a choice: “Choose to know me, or you’re choosing to say NO to my offer.”

In this message called “Living Like Jesus” taken from a study of 1 Peter 3:8-22, we learn how to suffer from the example of Jesus. We will see the importance of living with a clear conscience especially in the face of opposition. Also how our life can cause others to see Jesus in us.

Luke 13 focuses on repentance and judgment using a parable of a fig tree. We see the patience of God watching for fruit but found none after three years. Later, we see Jesus teaching in the synagogue where He encounters a woman crippled for 18 years who He lays hands on and heals immediately.

What if the clearest proof of Christian freedom isn’t what you run from, but what you willingly submit to? Join us as we unpack the life changing topics of freedom, submission, suffering, and the sovereignty of God.

This week, we’ll learn a lot about being ready for Jesus’ second coming. He’ll give us examples of being ready in two parables, then encourage us to not let anyone hinder our state of readiness, even if it’s a family member. Then, Jesus will tell us how to “settle out of court” before we face God on judgement day.

In this message “Who am I?” from 1 Peter 2:4-12, we’ll discover God’s truth about our new identity in Christ, explore the spiritual sacrifices we’re called to offer, and learn how to live out our faith with purpose and integrity in a broken world.
