Description
This podcast is an extension of our sacred community space at Mountain Hollow Medicinals in Craftsbury, Vermont. It was born out of a gathering in our yurt during an in-person course when we collectively realized that we needed to reach a wider audience to share the incredible magic that so many healers, practitioners, teachers, and space holders offer here in Vermont, New England, and beyond. We strive to offer education, conversations, and resources for transformational healing, complementary medicinals, and tools to empower your journey. Hellenistic Astrology with Katrine Waugh
2026/09/30
Hellenistic astrology is the old root system beneath the Western astrology we know today. It took shape around the Mediterranean, especially in Egypt under Greek and Roman rule, over roughly eight hundred years, from the late 2nd century BCE into the 7th century CE. It grew where traditions met and mingled: the Mesopotamian habit of reading the sky, the Egyptian decans that divide the heavens into ten-degree stretches, and the Greek love of philosophy and reason. Together they gave us the birth chart, a map of the sky at the moment you arrived, and nearly everything in Western astrology since has grown from it.
In this episode, I speak with Katrine Waugh, who is an experiential astrologer focused on Hellenistic astrology, with a passion for threading astrology into everyday life and inviting people to recognize the impact of their participation in this lifetime.
What an incredible conversation this was with Katrine, and I learned so much and had many moments of connectivity and awakening. Please find Katrine on Instagram @geminiiwaves, where you can DM her to book a reading, or email her at [email protected].
Join us for Katrine's upcoming group event, Soulscape of Arrival — an Astrology Workshop, at Mountain Hollow in Craftsbury. Learn more and register on my website's events page.
Thank you for tuning in to the Dreaming in the Hollow Podcast and sharing this episode with loved ones who would find interest in the topics we share in this space.

On Death, Grief & Healing
2026/04/02
In this episode I am returning to the podcast after what I believe was a four year pause. About a month after my last episode I suffered a heartbreaking loss in my family, so this episode is me (Diana) discussing my experience and journey with actual heartbreak and walking with death. I share as best I can in a 60 minute segment on some highlights and challenges on the long pause from the podcast. Its a bit of a waffling on as I am still exhausted from it all, but I am grateful to just get back to this podcast and to share with you some insights I have found along the way.
This episode is a bit raw and authentic. I share some stories about past experiences I have had with death as well.
The books I was speaking of in the beginning of this episode are:
The Pretty Painful Grief Book: A Journal To Help You Face Your Pain and Live With Loss by William Hunter Howell
Pretty Painful Grief Letters: For when grief is too big for words — but you need them anyway by William Hunter Howell
I have been listening to the All There Is podcast with Anderson Cooper on Greif and community building. Many of the episodes have helped me through some tough moments. I highly recommend tuning in here: https://www.cnn.com/all-there-is-anderson-cooper
I have some more helpful books on death and dying on my resources page: https://mountainhollowmedicinals.com/resources
Note: While I was away, my podcast host platform shifted over to an entirely new platform. So please bare with me as I relearn how to edit, add music, and remake my intro to future episodes. I promise I am working hard on ways to make this podcast sound better.

In this episode we share our stories, talk about what it was like as a child to come to the realization that spirits are real. We touch upon some themes around this kind of work as psychics such as, energetic imprints of a place, spirits that dwell, those who need help moving into the spirit world after death, our living and spirit guides who walk us through this work, as well as tips, tools, and boundary work as practitioners who perceive both the physical and spirit world.

A Personal Journey with Peony - Transformative Herbalism with Diana Hansen
2022/03/27
In this podcast episode I share my experience with Peony (Paeonia officinalis). Unlike the tea meditations this was an in person exchange during a photoshoot with a my favorite fine art photographer @secretgardenwalden in her 35 year old perennial gardens. Her photographs of me and her lucious peonies are the next two slides so you can get a visual of what I was talking about in the episode. This plant has supported me mostly energetically but also physically with hormone balance. I hope you enjoy this dreamy story as much as I did back when the flowers were ripe with essence and aroma. 🌸

A Personal Journey with Motherwort - Transformative Herbalism with Diana
2022/02/23
In this episode I talk about Motherwort (Leonurus cardiaca) and all of the amazing ways this plant is such a good herbal ally for so many of us. My journey with Motherwort came at the most needed time, after a deeply disturbing experience I had with a dark energy on land in the most unassuming place. I talk about this without going into too much depth and rather spoke more about how Motherwort supported me strongly during such a traumatic moment.
I also touch upon whats been in the works here at Mountain Hollow, new offers in the shop, the upcoming in person gathering schedule, and my observations on working with my interns and this deep work with plants.
Resources mentioned in this episode: The Herbal Apothecary by JJ Pursell
I hope you enjoy these journeys as much as I do and that they bring you a bit of newfound information on the power of plant spirit medicine.

Reclaiming our Center - Healing and Cultivating Community in Birth with Saturn Roblee
2022/01/24
In this episode I speak with Saturn Roblee who offers incredible support through the childbearing year, intuitive coaching, prenatal & postnatal yoga, moon cycle support and community support to new families. Saturn covers a variety of important things in her incredible offerings so we tried to touch upon some important issues in the current time as well as her story in how she came to this particular work in her community. This discussion is very important to me, as I myself have grief around so many of these experiences that has gone untouched, unshared, and unprocessed. There is such a lack of guidance for women as we walk the journey to childbearing, birth, and so many of the experiences that come with this. As women we move through so many rites of passage and I just truly admire Saturn's work in supporting us all.
Follow Saturn on Social media here on Facebook at Rebearth Full Circle Care and Instagram at @rebearthfullcircle
Saturn's new website will be posted here soon. Stay tuned!
Saturn also cultivates community through her Nurtured Nest group for new mothers with children ages 0-3 years which meets virtually or in-person in Glover, Vermont.
Saturn also offers prenatal and postnatal yoga. More information will be available on her website soon.

The Witch Who Walks Between Worlds - A personal story with Diana Hansen
2021/10/27
In this episode, in honor of Samhain and the Witches New year, I share many of my personal experiences with spirits in waking life and in dreams. I share what it was like as a child and budding witch to experience visits from loved ones who had passed on and visits from other spirits who needed support or simply wanted to communicate. I talk about my some of my ancestry and the connections I have with the magick and power of these cultures. I also share some relevant resources on fellow mediums and authors who have supported me throughout the years.
This episode is a very personal share of my own experiences with the intention to support your own by resonating with mine or learning from something I offer here in this discussion. There is so much mystery and healing in the dream world as well as the space in which we can connect to each other through the veil between worlds. I truly hope this episode offers some support but also some spooky fun during the time of the year when we feel the closest to the spirit realm. There are many things I could not get to or fully explain with the constraint of time but I look forward to sharing more experiences and offerings in the future. Blessed Samhain to all!
Other prominent Mediums I mentioned in the episode.
Sylvia Brown at sylviabrown.com
The book I mention are "Visits From the Afterlife" and " The Book of Dreams"
Edgar Cayce at edgarcayce.org/edgar-cayce/his-life/
