#531 - Most Amazon Sellers Have Never Tested Their Main Image
2026/10/21
Most Amazon sellers have never tested their main image. Not once. This week I launched a main image split test, kicked field goals with my boys, and let AI fix the stuff that used to eat my whole afternoon. In this episode, I'm sharing a more behind-the-scenes look at a real week: College GameDay in Provo with my two boys, and what working inside my Weavos operating system actually looks like day to day. I get into why AI isn't a "run my business and walk away" button, how I fix things without knowing how to code, and how I built and launched new main images as an Amazon experiment in about an hour. In this episode: Why this podcast is just as much for me as it is for you College GameDay in Provo with my boys, 17 years after my first one Going deep on Claude Code, and why I've been posting less on Instagram AI is not hands-off: reviewing data, arguing with Claude and making the decisions myself One click from decision to execution, with client updates sent to Slack Fixing broken things with zero coding knowledge: "Why is this not working?" Why we decided our main images could be better, and studying top competitors Building new main images in about an hour and launching a split test in Manage Your Experiments What used to take a graphic designer and 10 days of back and forth Why the people who dive into AI now will have a big advantage over the next 6 to 12 months If you want me to look at your Amazon account, go to www.weavos.io (put in an ASIN for an instant report) or email [email protected]. #530 - I Disappeared for 8 Months. Here's What I Built.
2026/10/16
Built by Business is BACK! My last episode went out February 23rd, almost eight months ago, and I've had a fire burning to get back on the mic. In this episode, I catch you up on everything: a summer of boating content, doubling my Instagram following just by being me, and landing brand partnerships I honestly thought I had no shot at. Then I get into what's had me up until 2 a.m.: two AI operating systems I've built with Claude Code. One runs my personal life. The other, Weavos OS, runs my Amazon agency, and it's the reason I now want fewer clients, not more. In this episode: Why the podcast went quiet, and why it's back Making content for fun again, and doubling to about 74K followers on Instagram Shoot your shot: how a pair of budget sunglasses turned into a brand partnership The dark side of content: chasing views, and learning to say no Amazon Accelerate and getting serious about AI Learning Claude Code from zero: 20 hours of lessons before my first session Isom OS: one system for every inbox, the family calendar and personal finances Weavos OS: SmartScout, Helium 10, AdLabs, Nova Data and Keepa in one agency system BRIN on Amazon: 133 listings, a storefront and 530 edited images in a few days Why I want five clients max, and one or two openings in January If you're a founder doing $50K+/month and want me to look at your Amazon account, go to www.weavos.io (put in an ASIN for an instant report) or email [email protected]. 2025/11/26
Forget arbitrage. Forget guessing what to private label next. In this episode, Andy Isom sits down with Cajua Robinson to unpack the Brand-Direct Model — where sellers form exclusive wholesale partnerships with established brands and manage their Amazon presence on the brand's behalf.   We break down how these exclusive agreements work, what types of brands are ideal partners, how to structure deals that protect both sides, and why this model is one of the most sustainable paths for Amazon entrepreneurs in 2025.   If you've ever wanted to move beyond reseller chaos and build real relationships with brands — this episode is your playbook.   If you own a brand, connect with me here: www.andyisom.com   If you'd like to connect with Cajua Robinson for the brand direct opportunity you can find his resources here: https://www.youtube.com/@ecom.unlimited.podcast

#522 - The Year of Brand Velocity
2025/11/12
In 2025, the fastest brands are the ones that win — not the biggest. In this episode of Built by Business with Andy Isom, we explore how brand velocity has become the new moat for Amazon and DTC brands alike.   Learn how to move faster without breaking your systems:   • Why Amazon rewards algorithmic speed (listing updates, PPC, inventory rhythm). • Why DTC rewards creative speed (ads, offers, and landing pages). • How to build your own "Velocity Stack" to outlearn and outsell your competitors.   Featuring a micro-guest from a brand operating on both Amazon and Shopify sharing how they built systems for speed.   Whether you're optimizing listings or scaling ad campaigns, this episode will help you grow faster — and smarter — in 2025.   Get a free brand audit here: www.weavos.io
#521 - The Future of Amazon Ads: Why Video Campaigns Win in 2025 ft. Trevin Peterson
2025/11/10
In this exclusive Amazon Accelerate Interview, I sat down with Trevin Peterson, one of the most recognized voices in the Amazon FBA space, to unpack the evolution of Amazon Ads - from the early days of basic Sponsored Products to today's full-funnel, content-driven ad ecosystem.   Trevin shares how he went from discovering FBA in 2017 to building multiple 7-figure brands, and reveals the biggest shifts every seller needs to understand heading into 2025, including:   Why video ads are the most undervalued opportunity on Amazon right now The difference between ACOS vs. TACOS (and why most sellers track the wrong metric) How to use Amazon Influencers and Creator Connections to boost conversions What makes Sponsored Brands and Sponsored Display essential for a complete ad funnel Why "trusting the process" matters when scaling profitably through PPC   Whether you're a beginner trying to understand Amazon advertising or a brand owner optimizing ad spend across multiple campaigns, this episode will help you see where the real leverage is hiding in 2025. #AmazonAds #AmazonAccelerate2025 #Ad
#520 - The Conversion Gap: Why Shoppers Click But Don't Buy
2025/10/29
Most Amazon sellers don't have a traffic problem - they have a listing problem.   In this episode of Built by Business with Andy Isom, we reveal why shoppers click but don't buy, the biggest mistakes inside your Amazon listing that quietly kill conversions, and how to fix them fast.   We'll talk about the 4 Leaks on Amazon Listings as well as the 6-Step Amazon Listing Checklist to make sure you don't leak too many customers.   Learn how to optimize your main image, A+ content, and offer structure to boost your conversion rate without spending more on PPC.   If you're running ads or managing your own storefront, this episode will help you turn clicks into conversions on Amazon's marketplace.   Get a free brand audit at www.weavos.io
#519 - Amazon's Grocery Gambit: Why Fresh Could Be the Next Seller Goldmine
2025/10/27
Amazon's next major enterprise may not be AI - it's groceries. With online grocery sales projected to hit ~$220 billion in the U.S. by 2025, and Amazon rapidly expanding same-day fresh delivery, a massive opportunity is opening for brands and sellers.   In this episode, Andy Isom breaks down why grocery is Amazon's "final frontier." He covers the opportunity equation, the risks, and asks the right strategic questions to help you decide if your brand can move into this space successfully.   If you've ever thought about adding consumables, CPG, or pantry SKUs to your lineup - or simply want to future-proof your Amazon business - this episode will give you the roadmap.   Check out all my resources at: www.andyisom.com
#518 - From Burnout to Breakthrough: Building Your Dream Team Abroad with Oceans
2025/10/22
Most e-commerce founders don't fail because of bad products or weak ads - they fail because they try to do everything themselves. In this episode of Built by Business with Andy Isom, I've invited Ian Myers, the CEO and Co-Founder at Oceans, who specialize in hiring and managing overseas employees from Sri Lanka.   You'll hear why typical "VA hiring" fails, how Oceans helps founders build real, reliable overseas teams, and what happens when you finally delegate the right roles. We'll cover the first position you should hire, a real-world transformation story, and the practical steps to stop being the bottleneck in your business.   If you're running an Amazon or e-commerce brand and feel stuck in the weeds, this episode will show you how to reclaim your time and scale smarter.   Learn more at oceanstalent.com or reach out to me personally at www.andyisom.com to get connected.
