There is a general fear that pervades the souls of people. We can have faith, or we can live in fear. Most people do not appreciate the degree to which fear drives out faith. To understand it better we discuss the situation in terms of a very specific fear that prevents people from taking out a paid subscription of Logical Minds Only. There are two races and two realities, linked to two mental states or intellectual fields. These are mutually exclusive, they cannot share the same intellectual space. One cannot entertain two contradictory beliefs at the same time. Christians cannot be full Christ-like in a world of the flesh. We needed to separate but we never did. We cannot think we are part of this godless system and believe we are all we can be as Christians and Christ followers.

The world is market orientated which is another way of saying it operates as a competitive system or, a war of all against all. Markets are nothing more than a manifestation of the law of the jungle. Nature is red in tooth and claw and functions as a war of all against all. Ministry is the only other option.

The market is a system promoting competition. In every system of competition there are a very large number of losers. The more competition the more losers there are. Ministries focus peoples attention on a common purpose, rather than in beating the competition.

There are two possible ways to develop Africa, the first is through the market. Needless to say this method has been tried. We won’t go into all of the reasons why the market method failed, we leave it up to the readers observational skills to observe the depth and extent of the market’s failure. What is done here is introduce ministry as an option for Africa. Perhaps one of the reasons for the failure of the market in Africa is because God wishes to demonstrate His power through ministry, by demonstrating to the world, the power of ministry to create prosperity in Africa.

Markets are predicated on competition and will not work without competition, thus it is in the best interests of those who support markets to create as much conflict and division as possible, because complicity or cooperation kills the market. After 6000 years of reforms, revolutions, elections, regime change and millions upon millions of studies and books and conferences, one might start to wonder if perhaps we were not engaged in a fools errand. The possibility is enhanced if we understand the market is not the greatest thing ever stumbled upon by our ancestors. Supply and Demand cannot be reconciled but to assume individuals making individual choices will even begin to approximate a good balance is to prove one does not understand people or the situation most find themselves in. People cannot even make good choices for themselves. We take jobs with companies involved in criminal conspiracies; we buy major products and stocks from companies about to go bankrupt. Perhaps in some imaginary world the choices of governments and individuals will result in a reasonable response of supply to demand, but it is not going to happen with the people we have or the system we are in.

There are five major questions in metaphysics, all related, that when not solved blinds us to the nature of reality and truth. These are the questions: “Why is there something rather than nothing; “What is the relationship between mind and body”; “What is free will”; “How do things maintain their identity through time.”; “What are universals”? Until and unless these question are answered all other answers will remain conditional.

The fundamental lessons you were never taught, which is why so many seek blindly for solutions where they will never be found.

A church ought to have five different ministries in operation, these are pastoral, evangelism, teaching, worship and a social justice ministry or charitable ministry.

People remain in a marriage without armed guards present. People even remain in jobs and towns for many years or even their entire life, without punishment threatening them if they leave. Why do people remain in place without coercion? Why can’t we apply this same kind of thinking to the incarcerated?

It has always been argued that to have prosperity the population must be growing. As is usual in this system the argument is a total fabrication and at best, a half-truth. The truth is if we maintain a system in which there must be a growing population to have prosperity, then we will need a large influx of new persons to keep the economy growing. This is a relative truth, not an absolute truth. The absolute truth is prosperity has little to do with the growth or decline of a population. It has more to do with the absolute size of the population.

Trump failed because Trump became a politician and politicians always fail. There is no path to success for a politician, the successful ones merely do not fail as bad as the rest but if you look at their career and the aftermath it will gradually become more obvious, especially with the passage of time, just how little they accomplished and how much negative results flowed from the policies they enacted. To write a positive history of a politician requires a lot of empathy and imaginative writing.

There is no truth and no certainty other than that which we can acquire through logical coherence. But there is no logical coherence possible in a relativistic or causal system.
