In our conversation with Rabbi Asher Resnick, bereaved father and author of Pain is a Reality, Suffering is a Choice we look at what things are like right now in Israel and what the helpful questions are to ask under these sort of circumstances. Using his experiences of his daughter's illness and death, he shares with us some of the principles that helped him go through his situation and how he has used that to teach others about suffering and challenges. He shares with us the difference in response between being in the trauma and being post-trauma. We also look at what comfort means and how a person can be comforted.
