From Many To One- Shema Meditation
2026/09/15

From Many Voices to One- Ha’azinu & Yom Kippur Tora and Stillness
2026/09/15
What does it mean to truly listen?
Ha’azinu begins with Moshe calling upon heaven and earth to hear his final song. From there, we explore the noise of the many voices within us — thoughts, fears, desires, expectations and possibilities — and the deeper question of how to hear without allowing every voice to lead us.
Drawing on a teaching from Rabbi Yaakov Varshevski and a beautiful Zohar teaching about the Hebrew letters, we move from the many voices of the bet toward the unity of the aleph — and eventually to the central declaration of Yom Kippur:
שְׁמַע יִשְׂרָאֵלה' אֱלֹהֵינוּה' אֶחָד
Hear, Israel. God is One.
This is Torah & Stillness — where Torah moves from the mind into the heart.

What Are You Serving? Mindful Munch 113
2026/09/14
What are you serving with the way you meet life?
Fear? Control? The need to be right?Or love, compassion, truth and life?
In this Mindful Munch session, we create a little space between what happens and how we respond:
🌿 Notice — what is happening within me🌬️ Breathe — making space for not knowing❤️ Allow — what if life is not against me?🕊️ Choose — what do I want to serve?
Through mindfulness, gentle breathwork and meditation, we explore the possibility that we don't have to control everything that happens in life. We can pause, become aware, and choose how we want to meet it.

Anti-Zionism & Mindfulness: Are We Being Conditioned? Mindful Munch 111
2026/09/07
How does hatred become normal?
It rarely begins with hatred.
It can begin with a story.A repeated accusation. An image we see again and again.A simple division between good and bad.
In this episode of Mindful Munch, we explore Antizionism, propaganda, conditioning, and the ways our own minds can become caught in us versus them.
This isn't about telling you what to think.
It's an invitation to slow down and ask:
What am I actually seeing? What am I being influenced by?And what happens inside me when I encounter something I strongly disagree with?
We'll also explore the uncomfortable possibility that even while fighting hatred, we can become part of its cycle.
And then we'll practise.
A short mindfulness practice for meeting anger, fear and division — without becoming what we oppose.
May we see clearly.May we respond rather than react.

Mindful Munch 110 - The Four Elements Within Us 🌍🌊🔥🌬️ |
2026/08/31
What if we could pause and notice the different qualities that are alive within us?
In this Mindful Munch session, we explore the four elements as a simple way of understanding our inner experience:
🌍 Earth — grounding, stability and support🌊 Water — feeling, softness and flow🔥 Fire — energy, passion and aliveness🌬️ Air — breath, space and perspective
Through mindfulness, gentle breathwork and meditation, we’ll connect with each element in the body and notice what is present right now — and what we might need a little more of.
Rather than trying to be balanced all the time, we practice listening to ourselves with curiosity and compassion.

Mindful Munch 109- Notice What Has Grown
2026/08/31
🌿 What has grown in you that you haven’t stopped to notice? Our minds are wonderful time travellers. They can take us into the future, replay the past, imagine what might happen, or remind us of what we wish we had said. But in the middle of all this travelling, we can miss what is happening right here.In this Mindful Munch practice, we pause and gently notice the growth that has already happened — even when it’s small, quiet, or easy to overlook.🌱 Reflect on something that has changed or grown in you🌱 Notice where that growth lives in the body🌱 Explore what you may have overlooked while focusing on what is still missing🌱 Make space to recognise that you are already a work in progressAs we enter the month of Elul, this becomes a beautiful invitation to reflect on the past year — not only on what we want to change, but also on what has already grown.**You don’t have to become anything right now.****You can pause and notice what has already grown.**💛 Join the Mindful Munch WhatsApp group for free live session links: [https://chat.whatsapp.com/KIhKkHPHIJlB1gKpm96Wgg?mode=gi_t](https://chat.whatsapp.com/KIhKkHPHIJlB1gKpm96Wgg?mode=gi_t)🌿 Explore more mindfulness, breathwork and Jewish wisdom on the AusLev channel — *bringing Torah from the mind into the heart.**like share comment and subscribe *#MindfulMunch #Mindfulness #Breathwork #Elul #JewishMindfulness #SelfReflection
Finding My Way — A Torah Teaching for Rosh Hashana (Parashat Nitzavim- Torah and Stillness)
2026/08/26
How do you find your path when there is no map? This week's parasha, Nitzavim, is always read the Shabbat before Rosh Hashana. That's not a coincidence. Standing at the threshold of a new year, the Torah opens with: Atem nitzavim hayom kulchem — You are standing today. All of you.In this teaching I bring a passage from the Mei HaShiloach — Rabbi Mordechai Yosef of Izbica — as I have learned it through my teacher Rabbi Yaakov Varshevski and his book Etzot MiMei HaShiloach. Four mysterious images from Proverbs: the eagle, the serpent, the ship, and the fire between two people. Four elements — air, earth, water, fire — each one can heal you and direct you, or hurt you and pull you off course. As we stand at the threshold of 5787, the question is: which forces are carrying you forward — and which ones need your attention before the year turns? The guided practice for this teaching is in the next video. Letters of light - Wind
2026/08/26
What does wind have to do with your breath, your mood, spirituality... and making space?
In Hebrew, רוּחַ — Ruach can mean wind, breath, and spirit.
And the word opens the door to a beautiful family of ideas:
רוחני — Ruchani — spiritualמצב רוח — Matsav Ruach — mood, literally the state of one's spiritרווח — Revach — space, room, relief
Perhaps our inner world needs space too.
Space to breathe.Space to feel.Space between what happens and how we respond.
Maybe this is what the breath gives us:
A little Ruach.A little Revach.A little more room to be.
Where in your life could you use a little more room to breathe?

Torah and Stillness - Ki Tavo
2026/08/25
Ki Tavo — The Story Behind the Fruit | Torah & Stillness
What if gratitude isn't only about appreciating what we have — but remembering the journey that brought us here?
At the beginning of Parashat Ki Tavo, the Torah describes the beautiful ritual of Bikkurim, the first fruits. When a farmer brings the first fruits to the Temple, they don't simply say, “Thank you for the fruit.”
They tell a story.
They remember where they came from, what they went through, who helped them, the struggles they faced — and how they arrived at this moment.
“V’higiyanu lazman hazeh” — You have brought us to this moment.
In this Torah & Stillness practice, we explore the story behind our own “fruit” — the relationships, achievements, people, lessons and moments we have received along the way.
Through gentle reflection and breath, we ask:
What is the story behind what I have today?Who and what brought me here? What did the journey cost me?And what will I do with the fruit I've been given?
This practice isn't about being grateful for everything that happened to us. Some things were painful. Some things were difficult. Rather, it's an invitation to acknowledge the whole story — and to recognise that, after everything we've been through, we are here.
We also reflect on the blessing:
Shehecheyanu, v’kiyimanu, v’higiyanu lazman hazeh.
For the life we've been given. For everything that has sustained us.For bringing us to this moment.
And perhaps gratitude doesn't end with receiving.
The farmer brings the fruit and gives it away.
So we ask:
What can I pass on from the fruit I've been given?
A kindness.A word.A skill.Attention.Love.Simply being there for someone.
Maybe this is how gratitude becomes a blessing.
I remember the story.I receive what is here. And I allow some of this fruit to move through me to someone else.

Lette of Light – שלום (Shalom)
2026/08/18
Lette of Light – שלום (Shalom) What if **Shalom** isn't simply about ending conflict...but about becoming whole? The Hebrew word **שלום — Shalom** comes from the root **שלם — Shalem**, meaning whole, complete, or whole-hearted.In this episode of **Letters of Light**, we explore a different way of understanding peace — not only as something that happens between people, but as something we can cultivate within ourselves. When body, mind, heart and soul can all be heard.Even the parts of ourselves we struggle with.Making space for these parts doesn't mean acting on them. It means learning to see them, listen to them, and hold them with awareness — without causing harm.Perhaps this is why we say **Shalom** both when we greet someone and when we say goodbye.**May you be whole.May we meet in wholeness.**And perhaps peace begins here.**Where in your life is there a calling for a little more wholeness?**🌿 **Join the AusLev WhatsApp community** for Jewish mindfulness, breathwork, Torah reflections, upcoming sessions, and more.Subscribe to **Letters of Light** and join us as we explore the wisdom hidden within Hebrew words — one word at a time.#LettersOfLight #Shalom #שלום #JewishWisdom #HebrewWisdom #JewishMindfulness #Mindfulness #JewishSpirituality #Breathwork #AusLev
