MY PLANS FOR THE FUTURE!
2026/10/28
MY PLANS FOR THE FUTURE!  Hey, I’m Barrie J Davies, a Welsh street pop surrealist living in Brighton, UK, where I spend my days making colourful nonsense, annoying perfectly innocent canvases and accidentally releasing paint goblins into the local ecosystem. I make art for a living, which sounds terribly sophisticated until you realise my studio contains approximately 47 things that absolutely should not be covered in paint but somehow are Welcome to my daily podcast, now with over 478 episodes of art, creativity, bizarre adventures, questionable decisions and whatever falls out of my brain before the tiny health-and-safety inspector living in my left ear can catch it with a butterfly net. There are no guests, no experts, no serious art lectures and absolutely no soothing whale noises. It is just me, a microphone and the artistic equivalent of putting a shopping trolley full of spray paint, rubber chickens, inflatable bananas and existential biscuits at the top of a hill and giving it a tiny push. Then we see what happens. I spend my days making paintings, prints, sculptures, exhibitions and strange little creatures that look like they have mortgages, complicated relationships with their neighbours and absolutely no intention of paying their council tax. Giving me unlimited access to neon paint was a mistake. Giving me glitter was an international incident. Giving me both at the same time was frankly irresponsible. My artwork lives somewhere between street pop art, surrealism, cartoons and the sort of fever dream you might have after eating three bags of Haribo while watching 14 episodes of a documentary about pigeons. Imagine Salvador Dalí, Saturday morning cartoons and a caffeinated pigeon walking into a discount art shop. Nobody knows why they are there. Nobody invited them. Somehow, they are now running the place. So, if you like colourful artwork, creativity, surreal nonsense, silly ideas, questionable decisions and watching common sense quietly pack its belongings into a cardboard box before disappearing through the fire exit, you are probably going to fit in rather nicely. I make paintings, prints, sculptures and general artistic trouble, while the podcast documents whatever is happening inside my increasingly questionable brain. Subscribe so you do not miss the latest artwork, exhibitions, events, podcasts and whatever wonderfully ridiculous creature escapes from my studio next Come and join the chaos. See the art, listen to the podcast and follow the madness. Just do not make eye contact with the glitter. It already knows your name, your postcode and what you had for breakfast. 👉 BUY MY FUN ART HERE – https://www.barriejdavies.info 👉 JOIN MY CRAZY MAILING LIST – https://barriejdavies.us3.list-manage.com/subscribe?u=ef3113353f8f2ed4dabefd05e&id=2d2161e8a0

Subscribe so you do not miss the latest artwork, exhibitions, events, podcasts and whatever wonderfully ridiculous creature escapes from my studio next. Come and join the chaos. See the art, listen to the podcast and follow the madness. Just do not make eye contact with the glitter. It already knows your name, your postcode and what you had for breakfast. 👉 BUY MY FUN ART HERE – https://www.barriejdavies.info 👉 JOIN MY CRAZY MAILING LIST – https://barriejdavies.us3.list-manage.com/subscribe?u=ef3113353f8f2ed4dabefd05e&id=2d2161e8a0
EXHIBITIONS COMING UP!

EXHIBITIONS COMING UP! Hey, I’m Barrie J Davies, a Welsh street pop surrealist living in Brighton, UK, where I spend my days making colourful nonsense, annoying perfectly innocent canvases and accidentally releasing paint goblins into the local ecosystem. I make art for a living, which sounds terribly sophisticated until you realise my studio contains approximately 47 things that absolutely should not be covered in paint but somehow are. Welcome to my daily podcast, now with over 466 episodes of art, creativity, bizarre adventures, questionable decisions and whatever falls out of my brain before the tiny health-and-safety inspector living in my left ear can catch it with a butterfly net.
