We each have requests for the next season of Star Trek Lower Decks, now that Season 4 has finished. Will they come true? What would you like to see from Legacy Star Trek in Lower Decks? Let’s get this out of the way right now, Heather was right. Star Trek Prodigy is saved. David freaked out  over nothing. Caves! Lower Decks talked about caves, the Prom Trek Pod is talking about caves in old business. In Old Business, we celebrate October and talk about our favorite scary episodes of Star Trek from the past. In New Business, David has a new favorite episode of Lower Decks, and Heather gets to say “I told you so”. Later, David brings up the potentially cancellation of Lower Decks and his concerns about Star Trek’s future. Heather offers some clarity.

The Very Short Treks have been such a hotly-debated topic, that we needed a third voice. Thanks to Joe Dove from the Captain’s Quadrant for joining us! We talk a little bit about our first not-so-great Star Trek viewing experiences, and we all await your scorn and disdain. In New Business, Lower Decks is still going strong, and we have successfully avoided having our bones drank by Moopsy. And yes, there is another Very Short Trek to talk about. We’re back! After an extended post-STLV recharge, Heather and David return to talk Star Trek again. The Very Short Treks are out, and, well…they are certainly being talked about. Plus, Lower Decks Season 4 is here, bones are being drank, promotions are being had, and a character has caught David’s eye. Plus, the latest on Star Trek Prodigy, in which David has some concerns. Should he be concerned?

The hype is real. Heather and David are headed to Las Vegas for the 57-Year Mission Convention, also known as STLV (Star Trek Las Vegas) this coming week. Trek conventions are special for both of us, and we cannot wait to be there. But before this weekend, we go over the surprise of THREE episodes of Star Trek Strange New Worlds that came out since we last talked, including the much-talked-about crossover episode with Lower Decks, “Those Old Scientists”. We do a quick wrap-up of the news and notes from San Diego Comic Con for Upcoming Business, and David goes back to packing for the trip! See you in Vegas!

A giant sized episode. Unfortunately, what would have been episode 72 originally was lost to the annals of internet recording. We talk about all the episode of Star Trek Strange New Worlds Season 2, from “Ad Astra per Aspera” to “Charades”.
