After an entire year Dylan and I have returned to Bleach, and it did not hesitate to throw us right back in where we left off. Our boy Uryu is continuing to betray us and bringing about the end of the world. YouHaBadGuy remade the Royal Palace, and now all the good guys and bad guys are in one place. Dylan and I finally started up our playthrough of Mass Effect 3, and we were able to convince Ethan to take a break from his homework and come chill with us. We discussed the progress on the anime Ethan and Dylan are watching together. As well as, how Dylan put all his points into melee for Shepard and how they are more dangerous than his guns. This week we are joined by a long time friend of the show, Jon, and Dylan got a little something special. He got his hands on Aura Battler Dunbine, a mecha anime from the early 80’s that we and I talked about last week. Here we are with another Godzilla film, this time with plant matter. It’s flora against fauna in this clash of titans, and spoiler Godzilla is the better of the two. We’re just surprised the mad scientist wasn’t thrown in prison for creating a giant tentacled rose monster. Also, don’t step on the giant metal hexagons in the field. Welcome to our sixth annual Hjönse Awards! There were only a couple good contenders for the award this year, but ultimately, as usual, we have come to a consensus. This year we have chosen Andor: Season 1, one of the only good shows to come out of Star Wars in recent history. For those of you who may not know. This award is given to a film or series that we thought was going to be bad, or had little expectation for, but turned out to be great and surprised us in some way. Once upon a time there was a unicorn, the last of her kind, and she went on a quest to find what became of the other unicorns. Along the way she meets the great and powerful Schmendrick the Wise, and Molly. Neither of them truly appreciate Schmendrick, and in fact, are quite ungrateful.
