The episode where Lindsey shares a paranormal story about a literal ghost town: Bannack, Montana. There is a lot of history behind this mining town that was founded in 1862 and left abandoned a century later. Rather than demolish the buildings and the town, the state preserved the town as a State Park that you can now visit. And of course, to be a ghost town, one must be haunted with ghosts (supposedly allegedly). The true gifts in this episode involve fact or fiction smut titles, and Lindsey’s voice to text notes. The episode where Lindsey brings us some true crime from Ireland. The year is 1895, Bridget Cleary is a sick lady, and she winds up dead. The doctor said it was bronchitis but her husband said “nah, it’s fairies”. More specifically, she was a fairy and he needed to murder her to bring his real wife back. This story is tragic, especially considering it happened close to the 1900s. Commonly called “the last witch burned in Ireland”, Bridget’s story is an important one.
