We know Mothers day doesn't look the same for everyone but today we wanted to remember a Angel and honour her with the strength and courage during her last battle. This week we had the chance to speak to one of our resident Midwife who so happens to have worked with a breastfeeding support group for a few years after realising how complicated breastfeeding actually is from her first born. She shared lots of her knowledge tips and advice.

Welcome back to another week of Mama's code and another week of over thinking as per usual! This week we discussed sleepovers and how we personally felt about them & our experiences when we were kids.

This week we spoke all things surnames, maiden names etc. Sorry if we came across judgy sometimes we are too passionate 🤣 but we discussed the traditions behind changing our maiden name after marriage to take our partners.

This week we touched on postnatal anxiety, such a common thing to experience but so little spoken about. Perhaps its the shame we feel? the fear of being judged? the expectation of feeling and looking like we have everything sorted and under control? Of fear of our little ones being taken away. We spoke to Naomi Buffery a coach serving women tips and advice on how to look after herself and mindset in order to help juggle these feelings and emotions, a way to help aid all women. Happy Monday, Here's a smoothie-type episode we spoke about being vegetarians, depressed chickens which led us to pregnancy announcements, Like how would you tell your friend you are pregnant when they aren't able to conceive? And our bit on the side was, do we really have the same 24hrs? We definitely do but our those hours are picked and packed differently for each individual. 

YASS Happy 2022 we are back to our normal recording schedule. This week we discussed the Pope's audacity to judge those who choose pets over kids and also, what's it really anyone's business. Having 1 child is hard enough but 2? Or more? Also not to mention the mum guilt of deciding on just one child dwells on a few of us too.

Tis the sunday before xmas and the round of xmas squid games has begun! Just a quick chit chat, sex and awkward xmas scenarios this week 🤣 Have an amazing Christmas and a Happy New year, This is Mama's Code out till January 2022! We love you all and thank you for your continuous support !
