Timeless Principles - Ain't Nothing New Under the Sun
2026/02/02
Hey Lovelies,  I hope your New year is calm and grounded. Those two words mean a lot in this current state of the world.  Tune in as I share some timeless reminders on how to keep your mind and life in check - in the midst of all the noise. Old tried and true principles seems cliche  and surface because they're trending all over the place, and your spirit has become numb to the message. But guess what? Mindset never goes out of style - and choosing to show up joyful in world that's determined to drain the life out of you, is a form of spiritual warfare. Before we get too deep, trust me, this first pod of the new year is really light hearted - but the message is not surface. We have to choose joy and breathe the the bumps on purpose to make sure we're caring for ourselves properly. until next time,  Blessings To support our initiative to cultivate authenticity to youth (whom the world deems "at risk" please visit www.soulloveth.com for more information about our mission.
Redeeming My "Mind": Open Mental Apps & MidNight Scrolling
2025/10/20
Hey Lovelies, Whew… this one’s a little personal 😩 — I’m talking about how late-night scrolling completely threw off my sleep rhythm and why I finally deleted TikTok (and Facebook earlier this year). I’m keeping IG just for business and community connections, but honestly… I’m learning to power down for real. All those open mental apps we carry? It’s time to start closing a few.  New goal: no scrolling after 9pm. My mind (and melatonin) deserve peace.  🎧 Tune in to Soul Loveth w/ Shan wherever you listen — and maybe set that bedtime reminder while you’re at it 😉 To support our initiative to cultivate authenticity to youth (whom the world deems "at risk" please visit www.soulloveth.com for more information about our mission.
A Spontaneous "Pop In"... You Don't Have To Journey Alone
2025/10/07
Hey Lovelies, Yesss, it's been a sec! but that's ok - that's the beautiful thing about life, we can take a break and begin again.... I really am intentional about practicing what I teach, If I need to unplug - or if I'm not "feeling it", I don't force it.  Back in April, as the seasons were changing, I felt the inner urge to change as well.  I put the podcast in the fridge for a while - so that I can focus on the essential things in front of me... I knew I would get the urge to record again - so I had peace to retreat that mental and emotional vision for the season. But Im warming it up again - with a reminder of "You Don't Have To Journey Alone." Take a listen to some of the things I've been up to as I've been embracing doing what my Soul Loves. I hope you enjoy it -- until next time... What Is Your Soft Hobby Preparing You For? Reflections from Octavia Butler's "Parable of the Sower"
2025/04/28
Hey Lovelies, Sometimes the quiet things we love are doing the deepest work in us. In this episode of Soul Loveth with Shan, I’m sharing how picking up reading again — and choosing Octavia Butler’s Parable of the Sower — has been stirring something powerful in me. Butler’s words about preparation, resilience, and self-sufficiency feel like a mirror for the times we’re living through. This is a soft conversation about the small, sacred ways we get ready for what’s ahead — even when we don’t realize it. As you listen, take a moment to ask yourself: • What gifts are your quiet joys planting in you right now? • How might your soft hobby be growing the strength you’ll one day need? Let’s honor the slow becoming - nothing we do is without purpose. Soft Hobbies: A Revolutionary Act
2025/04/13
Happy spring time beautiful people! It's been a while. I've been taking some time away to practice what I teach - pour into myself first and really stay in tune with not only what my soul loves - but also what it needs to stay sound and sane in this noisy world we're sharing right now. Yikes! In this episode I share some "soft" hobbies that has been really slowing me down and naturally has me present and more creative. Tune in as I share the benefits of slowing down and engaging all of your senses.  Yes - some of these things you know already, yet some are just a gentle reminder to pour into yourself and fight for your humanity (your natural mind). It's the most precious commodity right now. For a deeper more immersive dive - check out the Soul Loveth Life Path Journal and Workbook (Adults) at www.soulloveth.com. The Price of Authenticity...
2024/08/25
Hello Beautiful People... I must say this one is good good! I had to replay it a couple of times - and I'm sure I'll be led to revisit it again in the future. You know - we hear the word "authenticity" a lot lately, and most view it aestheticaaly or surface - not realize that it encompasses the core of who you are, and the audacity to "show up as you" in the a world that's constantly programming you to conform. Whew... Sit with that for a minute.   This episode I peel back more layers as I talk about the "Price of Authenticity." It's going to take some work and constant maintenance of facing yourself and honoring the commitments you've made to yourself in order to live healthy, happy and whole.  I hope it resonates with you. Until next time,  Blessing ***Soul Search/ Creative Reflection: ~How did you honor the commitments you made to yourself this week? ~In what environments do you find yourself code switching? ~List 3 moral codes that you stand on.   ~When those codes are challenged - what are some examples of how you've stayed true to them? Stability Is Sexy...
2024/07/22
It's funny how doing the responsible things come off as "boring".   In this day and age - where moving and shaking, being "outside" at every event -living this YOLO life is what's celebrated and deemed sexy and cool. But we're grown ups here. Having your affairs in order, doing day to day things like watering your plants, praying, meditating - trying a new recipe, paying your bills, not wanting to be "outside" all of the time - and just chilling in the house doing "nothing on purpose" is Sexy and Cool as well. Stability looks good on you.   Don't let this world try to tell you different. Pull Back Your Time...
2024/07/01
Where did the time go? Why is time moving so fast? If only I had enough time... How often do you say these things?  Is time really moving faster or are we preoccupied with so "stuff" that time just passes up by? Tune in this week as I take about way to slow down time. Is that even possible? Absolutely! We have dominion over time -- you slow it down my doing a mental inventory of what's wasting your time and put systems in place to preserve it.
