Description
Pour Deshishuns is what happens when two brewery buddies bring their barroom banter to the mic. Each week, Bryan and Conor crack open new craft beers, dive into ridiculous debates, and wander through pop culture, strange questions, and whatever else comes up. It’s part beer tasting, part comedy, and 100% unscripted chaos — the kind of conversation you’d overhear at the end of the bar and wish you could join in on.

We Tried to Hydrate and It Got Worse
2026/05/02
We tried to hydrate… and somehow made it worse.
This week we tested out Sierra Nevada Hop Splash (which may or may not have been questionable) before recovering with Lagunitas Blood Orange Hoppy Refresher — a reminder that hop water can, in fact, be good.
From there, things went exactly how you’d expect.
We break down the new Street Fighter trailer, where Bryan once again battles the pronunciation of David Dastmalchian’s name while giving him props for roles in The Suicide Squad, MacGyver, and Ant-Man.
Conor and DAMN Geena saw Project Hail Mary and confirmed that yes — Ryan Gosling continues to be Ryan Gosling.
Then we ask some very important questions:
Could a non-alcoholic Malört exist… and would it somehow be worse? Should American Gladiators come back with an MXC-style twist? And should Bryan fully commit to cosplaying as Skanky? We also sneak in some LEGO talk, because at this point it’s required.
Hydration was attempted. Chaos was achieved.

He’s Back, It’s Weird, and It Got Emotional
2026/04/24
After a week off, we’re back… and so is Conor.
Bryan and Conor crack open Shiner Bock NA and Sierra Nevada Trail Pass and jump right back into the chaos like nothing ever happened.
We catch up on Conor’s new job (now working with Bryan), discuss just how safe we actually are at work (very), and then immediately derail into questions like:
Would Insane Clown Posse be considered “woke” if they came out today? Why does the MLB logo look… fluffy? (and who is Barry Sosa McGuire?) Are the Royals City Connect uniforms actually good? (we think yes) Did the military use an aggressive amount of starch back in the day? From there, things escalate:
Could Bill have survived Kill Bill if he never took those five steps? 500 lbs of feathers vs bricks… but what about one 500 lb feather? The birth of Super Condor vs GodzillaWe also talk LEGO Batman, the price of beer at MLB stadiums, and why Bryan might need to start watching more movies.
And somehow… it all ends with a surprisingly emotional moment around No Time to Die.
Back to chaos. Right where we left off.

Same Chaos, New Chapter
2026/04/03
This episode marks a bit of a new chapter.
While Conor takes a hiatus to focus on life, Pour Deshishuns keeps the spark alive — and who better to kick things off than someone who’s been one of the biggest supporters of the show from the beginning… Jen.
Bryan and Jen crack open Boulevard Brewing – Tiger’s Blood Quirk, Abomination Brewing – Sangria Harvester, and Tin Mill Brewing – Midnight Whistle and dive into their recent staycation, also known as Nerd Fest at Kansas City’s Planet Comicon.
From meeting Twilight actors (with mixed reviews), to running into Tech N9ne, the lead singer of Slipknot, and even a familiar face from La Bamba, the weekend was anything but relaxing.
They wrap things up with Opening Day at the Royals game — a perfect day, a win for KC, and the realization that maybe one more day off would’ve been a good idea before heading back to reality.
Same chaos. New chapter. Still Pour Deshishuns.

Curtains, Crackman, and Crossing the Line
2026/03/27
This week we cracked open Diametric Brewing – Baby Crackman and Abomination Brewing – Make Sure It Dead, and immediately proved that our lives are just as chaotic as the topics we talk about.
Bryan’s ADHD was on full display during a trip to At Home trying to pick out curtains, while Conor and Geena are officially duck parents now. We had to take a few pauses along the way, but the chaos never really stopped.
Then we got a little deeper than expected.
We debate whether books are better than movies (a conversation that definitely isn’t over), and take a dive into Breaking Bad — not just the show, but how morally “good” characters slowly cross the line into becoming something else entirely.
And because we can’t stay serious for too long, we wrap things up by imagining pop culture cars as Transformers — including KITT from Knight Rider becoming something we probably shouldn’t have named… Knightbyte.
Life updates, moral philosophy, and absolute nonsense.

The Visitors Are Always Away
2026/03/20
This week’s episode is a special crossover as we kick off something new while keeping the chaos exactly where it belongs.
We crack open Shiner Ruby Redbird and Vine Street Brewing – Going Out on the Lash and dive into the World Baseball Classic, uncovering some wild facts — including the existence of the one team that appears on every scoreboard in baseball… the Visitors.
We also break down the chaos of Banana Ball rules, where traditional baseball logic gets thrown out the window, and wrap things up with 10 things you may not have known about March Madness.
A little baseball, a little basketball, and a whole lot of wondering why the Visitors never get a home game.
Same chaos. New lane.

Bro-Hab, Free Agency, and the Chaos Index
2026/03/13
This week we cracked open Pabst Blue Ribbon Extra and Mother’s Brewing Lil’ Helper while diving headfirst into the madness that is NFL Free Agency.
We also officially introduce our upcoming sports podcast: The Chaos Index, which feels appropriate considering the absolute nonsense happening around the league.
Somewhere along the way we:
argue about the actual ABV of regular PBR (and somehow both get it wrong)hear Bryan’s latest cornhole adventures, now including commentary dutiespitch the groundbreaking concept of Bro-Hab — a treatment center for men addicted to energy drinks, pre-workout, Axe body spray, and yelling “LET’S GO”We also revisit Team America: World Police, calculate the modern cost of freedom, and try to answer a question that may haunt us forever:
Was Conor a Juggalo growing up?
Sports chaos, bro culture satire, and classic Pour Deshishuns derailment.

Speed Skating Needs More Violence
2026/02/27
This week we cracked open Vine Street Brewing – Opal Reign and Hoof Hearted Brewing – Konkey Dong, and immediately decided the Olympics might be missing one very important thing: chaos.
We dive into Olympic speed skating and pitch a brand-new event — Ice Derby — because honestly, it feels like the next logical evolution of the sport.
Then we break down Jake Paul’s Top 10 Overrated Athletes list, including the incredible decision to somehow leave himself off it entirely. From there, things spiral into the usual side tangents that make absolutely no sense but somehow feel necessary.
Sports takes, Olympic ideas no one asked for, and classic Pour Deshishuns energy.

Ectogasm, Gold Medals, and the Science of Sad Songs
2026/02/19
This week we cracked open Boulevard Whiskey Barrel Stout and Drekker Brewing Co. Ectogasm and got oddly introspective… before immediately derailing.
We talk about what we’re actually trying to accomplish with this podcast — maybe just giving you a break from the chaos of real life — before pivoting to burgers. Because of course we did.
Then the questions escalate:
Is Bob’s Burgers secretly a mafia front? How much gold is actually in an Olympic gold medal? Is doubles luge just competitive spooning at 90 MPH?From there we dive into music science. If Queen’s “Don’t Stop Me Now” is considered the happiest banger ever recorded, what are the contenders? And on the flip side, what songs are scientifically the saddest?
Beer. Burgers. Gold medals. Emotional whiplash.
Business as usual.

The Most Entertaining Part Wasn’t the Game
2026/02/12
This week we cracked open Dogfish Head 90 Minute IPA and Toppling Goliath King Sue and dove straight into the Super Bowl… where somehow the most entertaining part wasn’t even the game.
We break down the recap, the Seahawks kicker outscoring the Patriots (because that happened), and whether a regular EPL match might actually be more globally relevant than the NFL’s biggest night.
Then it gets nerdy.
We revisit how the Koopalings got their names, debate whether Bowser Jr. deserves something more metal (Angus??), and imagine what the Koopalings’ band name would be.
We also touch on Fallout, the Olympics, Super Bowl commercial dominance by brand, and ask the real question:
Can anything actually be spoiled for Bryan?
Beer, football, Nintendo lore, and chaos. Business as usual.

Why Groundhogs Exist (and Gamers Win)
2026/02/06
We kick things off with a Lager and La Brea Brown Ale from Fossil Cove Brewing, then immediately ask the important question no one requested:
Why do groundhogs even exist, and who decided shadows mattered this much?
From there, things get surprisingly serious as we dive into whether gamers actually have an unfair advantage in business—covering grind culture, failure as data, min-maxing, delayed gratification, and why “XP mindset” might translate better to real life than most people want to admit.
History, hot takes, and a little accidental business theory—served with good beer and zero shame.

Barrel-Aged Bricks with KC Bier Co & the Dark Knight
2026/01/30
We crack into a barrel-aged bier schnapps from KC Bier Co and balance it out with an Oatty Stout from Fossil Cove Brewing while diving deep—shockingly deep—into LEGO Batman: Legacy of the Dark Knight.
This episode stays focused (mostly) as we break down everything revealed so far: map scale, characters, editions, DLC packs, and why this might be the most ambitious LEGO game yet. Less chaos, more hype, and a whole lot of Dark Knight energy—brick by brick, sip by sip.

MTV Is Dead and We Did This to Ourselves
2026/01/22
This episode plays like a dusty VHS tape left in the VCR too long.
We sip on Transparent Brewing Company’s Ebb the Chaos while Pretzel Rocks Station VHS runs in the background and we take a deep dive into MTV shutting down — and what it meant to us. From Spring Break and Cribs to Making the Video and the Movie Awards, we remember when MTV actually stood for music (and chaos).
From there, things drift — naturally. We argue about movies that think they’re westerns but absolutely are not (or maybe are?), and Bryan allegedly commits a crime by forcing Jen to watch Baseketball. Motive unclear. Damage done.
Nostalgia, bad choices, and the slow realization that we were raised by television.

🐻🍺 Malört, Miracles, and Da Bears 🍺
2026/01/16
This week’s episode is equal parts science, superstition, and suffering.
We kick things off with Streetside Brewery’s Suh Brah?, follow it up with a barrel-aged Malört shot (mistakes were made), and finish strong with Lost Forty’s Love Honey. From there, the conversation immediately derails.
We debate whether farting is actually healthy, celebrate the Bears winning a playoff game (and discover they only started playing well once Bryan went to bed), and seriously ask whether the Bears are on a Blues Brothers–style mission from God — possibly with help from the Pope — to break the curse the Chiefs unleashed in 2020.
Things get heavier as Conor talks about possibly being one of the first people in KC to have COVID, Bryan recalls nearly being caught up in a parade route crash, and we dive into how the ending of Stranger Things stacks up against other series finales.
We also ask the important questions:
If Jimmy Pesto’s restaurant is closed on Bob’s Burgers, what should replace it?
And how does an episode full of gas, miracles, and Malört somehow end on a sentimental note?
Chicago logic. Pour Deshishuns chaos.

Crazy Smart, Hollow Australia, and Other Important Questions
2026/01/09
Episode 101 proves that hitting 100 didn’t calm us down at all.
We sip on Fossil Cove Coffee IPA and Streetside Brewery’s Apple Brandy Crumb Cake Demogorgon while trying to decide whether Marty is Crazy Snoot, Crazy Smort, Crazy Smot, Crazy Snart, or just Crazy Smart.
Conor attempts to read books like a responsible adult (NERD), we wrap up Week 18 of Pick’em to see if Conor fully completed his domination of Marty, and we debate what we should even call a future sports podcast.
Things spiral quickly: karaoke confidence on New Year’s Eve, nonstop movie references (Anchorman, Super Troopers 2, Beetlejuice), WW3 safe-hold locations, whether Maple Surple is the next great beverage, and how long it would take the world to notice if Australia was hollowed out like a donut.
We also tackle visits to Mesopotamia and Pangea, define what a “fancy ghetto” actually is, and debate hotel etiquette — specifically what should not happen in the room bathroom.
Episode 101. Still asking questions. None of them necessary.

100 Episodes Later and We’re Still Like This.
2026/01/01
Business as usual… somehow.
We celebrate Episode 100 with St. Bernardus Christmas Ale, Diametric Brewing Sangria Cyser, and Fossil Cove The Hatchling, while Conor battles through lingering illness and Bryan continues his lifelong struggle to put cornhole bags in holes.
We talk Beer Karma and the glory of the 19 oz can, catch up on two weeks of NFL Pick’em where Conor is absolutely destroying Marty, debate whether the Chicago Bears are better as the #2 seed, and acknowledge that Bryan somehow has even more LEGO sets to build.
Then things escalate:
When does Christmas actually end (the internet says January 6th), the Swift Effect on Travis Kelce jersey sales, NFL teams as real people with names and personalities, possible AFC and NFC Championship chaos at SoFi Stadium, and whether we need a separate sports podcast to protect the beautiful mess that Pour Deshishuns has become.
And finally… did you survive Whamageddon?
100 episodes in. Still chaotic. Still grateful. Still like this.
